Isaiah 2:12-22 A Day of Reckoning Coming

12 For the Lord of hosts will have a day of reckoning

Against all who are proud and arrogant

And against all who are lifted up,

That they may be degraded.

Who thinks like this? I would think the reckoning would be against those who are corrupt, those who take bribes, those who lie, those who sell out the country, those who operate deceitfully, those involved in trafficking, etc. But what is it that all of them have in common? They are proud, arrogant and lifted up. To set aside the law of God you must be proud, arrogant and lifted up. This is becoming very obvious today with them blatantly doing things like Hunter Biden’s fraud selling his paintings. They are crooks, the whole world can see they are crooks and they don’t care. Why? Because they control the DOJ. They are proud, arrogant and lifted up. They are setting aside the first amendment, they are committing election fraud, they are opening our borders to criminals, everything they are doing is in your face, we are crooks, we don’t care that you know we are crooks, and we will do whatever we want and there is nothing you can do about it. The fundamental issue is not the individual crimes, the fundamental issue is they are thumbing their nose to God, they are in open rebellion.

13 And the wrath of God will be against all the cedars of Lebanon [west of the Jordan] that are high and lifted up,

Against all the oaks of Bashan [east of the Jordan],

14 Against all the high mountains,

Against all the hills that are lifted up,

15 Against every high tower,

Against every fortified wall,

16 Against all the ships of Tarshish

And against all the beautiful craft.

What a combination or coalition. Generally we think of Cedars and Oaks as very good wood, people of the highest credentials. The experts, the talking heads, the ones who get to say what the “official” position is. The fact checkers. The high mountains and hills would be in contrast to the Bible. These are your philosophers whether they are socialists, or economic theory, or whatever. The high towers we generally call the Ivory tower, the ones who came up with Critical Race Theory and are trying to turn the US into a socialist nation. The fortified walls are the censors, the ones who are able to keep out any opposing viewpoints. All of this is to support the ships of Tarshish, the international trade. It is a global economy, a single currency, one world government, and one world religion.

17 Then the pride of man will be humbled

And the arrogance of men will be degraded;

The Lord alone shall be exalted in that day,

18 And the idols will completely vanish (be abolished).

There will be some events that take place that completely humble this one world government that the elites are pushing. The idols refer to the currency, the money.

19 They [the stricken, deprived of all in which they had trusted] will go into the caves of the rocks

And into the holes of the ground [fleeing]

From the terror and dread of the Lord

And from the splendor of His majesty,

When He arises to terrify the earth.

Why would you hide in the holes in the ground? Is it nuclear radiation and fallout? Did a supernova burn up our ozone layer so that the sun will give everyone skin cancer and cause you to go blind?

20 In that day men will throw away to the moles and to the bats

Their idols of silver and their idols of gold,

Which they made for themselves [as objects] to worship,

21 To go into the caverns of the rocks and into the clefts of the [ragged] cliffs [as they flee]

From the terror and dread of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty,

When He arises to terrify the earth.

If we had such a terrifying worldwide event it would cause the global economy to collapse and the currency to become worthless.

22 Stop regarding man, whose breath [of life] is in his nostrils [for so little time];

For why should he be esteemed?

Really, there are many who believe the Bible, believe these prophecies, see the coming doom and then go and talk about being a prepper, or investing in gold, or some other nonsense. Invest in the kingdom of the heavens where there is no rust and there are no thieves.

Jeremiah 4:1-9 -- What to do if you are left behind

The Lord said that no one knows the day or the hour, many believers take that to mean that we can ignore this since no one knows the day or the hour. However, the Lord says that because you don't know the day or the hour you need to watch and he gives three illustrations: a pregnant woman, a farmer prior to the harvest, and the bride in a Jewish wedding. A pregnant woman does not know the day or the hour that she will give birth, therefore she needs to watch. She should be going to the doctor, arranging for the birth, planning, etc. A woman who did not do this would be considered a very irresponsible mother. Second, a farmer does not know the day or the hour that they will reap the harvest. As a result he must carefully inspect his crops everyday while also watching the weather report and preparing. He might need to rent harvesters and hire extra laborers. Finally, the bride in a Jewish wedding doesn't know the day or the hour, her betrothed is building a house (or spare room) for them to live in. He needs to prepare that before he can come and take the bride. But just because she doesn't know the day or the hour doesn't mean she can't visit him with lemonade or a sandwich while he works and see for herself. She can get a very good idea of when it will be finished if she is visiting him regularly. If your bride didn't care enough to do that you would think she really doesn't love you or care about you.

1 “If you, Israel, will return, then return to me,” declares the Lord. “If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go astray,

Many want to know what they should be doing to prepare to meet God. First, get rid of the detestable idols. I discussed this a little when I talked about the frogs in Exodus 8. Also, know that money is a “graven image”. It is made out of wood (paper money) and it is a molten image (coins). This call to return or to repent is how the Gospel of Mark begins. The thought is that Luke presents the gospel to those who are taken prior to the tribulation and Mark presents the gospel to those who are left behind.

2 and if in a truthful, just and righteous way you swear, ‘As surely as the Lord lives,’ then the nations will invoke blessings by him and in him they will boast.”

Walk according to the truth (word of God), in a just and righteous way (the Lord’s commandment to do unto others as you would have them do unto you). Boast in the Lord, rejoice in Him, praise Him, testify of His goodness.

3 This is what the Lord says to the people of Judah and to Jerusalem: “Break up your unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns. In the gospels the Lord let us know He was talking about our heart. If our heart is consumed with the world it is like thorns choking the word of God. Do not sow the word of God among the thorns. 4 Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, circumcise your hearts, you people of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, or my wrath will flare up and burn like fire because of the evil you have done—burn with no one to quench it.

I talk about circumcision in the posts concerning the book of Galatians. Circumcision was the sign that we have a covenant with God. A wedding ring signifies you have a marriage covenant, circumcision signifies we have a covenant with God. In the New Testament the cross of Christ is the sign that we have a covenant with God, it is the New Testament “circumcision” and it is on our hearts. You need to apply the cross of Christ to your hearts or you will invoke the wrath of God.

5 “Announce in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem and say: ‘Sound the trumpet throughout the land!’ Cry aloud and say: ‘Gather together! Let us flee to the fortified cities!’ 6 Raise the signal to go to Zion! Flee for safety without delay! For I am bringing disaster from the north, even terrible destruction.”

There are two possible references here. We know that the high holy days are a shadow of things to come, that the first four feasts were key events in the beginning of this age (Passover -- crucifixion of Jesus, Feast of unleavened bread -- burial of Jesus, Feast of the first fruits -- resurrection of Jesus, and Pentecost -- birth of the church). The sound of the trumpet can be both an alarm and a sound of rejoicing. The idea is that at the rapture it will be a sound of rejoicing for those who are raptured, whereas for those who are left behind it will be a sound of alarm. This chapter is dealing with those who are left behind. This isn't a reference to the pandemic, this is a reference to the need to flee. After the first rapture you will have chaos, anarchy. In a situation like that it will be much scarier than it is today. Already we can see videos in large cities that are scary, imagine if you remove all those Christians who would step into the gap to help someone being attacked. Right now the evil and wicked are outnumbered and are scared of the light. After the first rapture that will change. If you can't see that terrible destruction is coming upon these cities today, you will be able to see it then.

7 A lion has come out of his lair; a destroyer of nations has set out. He has left his place to lay waste your land. Your towns will lie in ruins without inhabitant.

There have been several prophetic visions concerning this. First, it appears that China will have a terrible flood, their harvest will be devastated resulting in a famine. This will cause them to go to war, and before they can do that they need to take out the US. They do that by setting off EMP devices strategically placed to cause the nation’s power grid to collapse. Also, once the rapture takes place the man of lawlessness will be revealed and the “riots” you have been watching will roar to life blazing with violence, bloodshed, looting, and terror. One man died and the entire country was filled with violent rioting in the streets. This will take it to a whole new level.

8 So put on sackcloth, lament and wail, for the fierce anger of the Lord has not turned away from us.

This is the seven years of the tribulation. The goal for all those who believe in the Lord Jesus and confess His name is that they will be taken by Him in three and half years. This is a time to convince God that you belong in the book of life. It is a little confusing so let me try and explain all these dates as simply as I can. September 21-22 in 2017 was the Festival of Trumpets. On September 23rd 2017 the great heavenly sign of the woman crowned with 12 stars, clothed with the sun and with the moon beneath her feet travailing to give birth was seen in the heavens. This was the sign spoken of by John in Revelation 12, the last time it appeared in the heavens was 3915 BC and was prophetic that the seed of the woman would crush the serpent's head. That is the first prophecy concerning Jesus. Revelation begins with Jesus saying “He is the first and the last, the alpha and the omega”. It is interesting that this sign would appear at the beginning and then again at the end.

In the Jewish wedding the bride circles the groom three times before the wedding. The earth has circled the sun three times since 2017. Think of these three years as the first 3 days of awe out of the ten.

9 “In that day,” declares the Lord, “the king and the officials will lose heart, the priests will be horrified, and the prophets will be appalled.”

The people who run the country fall into three groups. The president would be viewed as the king, the CDC would be seen as the priests, and the press would be seen as the prophets.

Jeremiah 4:10-31 My life is being given over to murderers

10 Then I said, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! How completely you have deceived this people and Jerusalem by saying, ‘You will have peace,’ when the sword is at our throats!”

You may remember that a peace treaty promising a period of economic prosperity was just signed in Washington D.C. with Israel, UAE and Bahrain on September 15th.

11 At that time this people and Jerusalem will be told, “A scorching wind from the barren heights in the desert blows toward my people, but not to winnow or cleanse; 12 a wind too strong for that comes from me. Now I pronounce my judgments against them.”

So China and Russia will attack Israel, most likely after a preemptive attack on the US. Prior to the first rapture we had a wind for winnowing, to separate the chaff from the wheat. But now this wind is too strong for that.

13 Look! He advances like the clouds, his chariots come like a whirlwind, his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us! We are ruined! 14 Jerusalem, wash the evil from your heart and be saved. How long will you harbor wicked thoughts?

The peace treaty was all about Jerusalem, it recognized Jerusalem as being under the jurisdiction of Israel. This is the winds of war. We don't need the Bible to tell us how bad and destructive a war today would be.

15 A voice is announcing from Dan, proclaiming disaster from the hills of Ephraim. 16 “Tell this to the nations, proclaim concerning Jerusalem: ‘A besieging army is coming from a distant land, raising a war cry against the cities of Judah. 17 They surround her like men guarding a field, because she has rebelled against me,’” declares the Lord.

The problem is they rebelled against the Lord. Humble yourself, repent of your rebellion. Turn to Jesus, call on His name, for that is where your salvation is. Do not trust in yourself, do not trust in man.

18 “Your own conduct and actions have brought this on you. This is your punishment. How bitter it is! How it pierces to the heart!”

Repent! Confess your sins and Repent!

19 Oh, my anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain. Oh, the agony of my heart! My heart pounds within me, I cannot keep silent. For I have heard the sound of the trumpet; I have heard the battle cry.

The rapture takes place at the sound of the Trumpet. But that sound is also the sound of an alarm. It signals the beginning of the tribulation.

20 Disaster follows disaster; the whole land lies in ruins. In an instant my tents are destroyed, my shelter in a moment.

The rapture takes place in a moment, in an instant. Another meaning of rapture is when the water breaks for a woman who is giving birth. The birth canal where the baby is looks like “3 gorges”. We are told that when the woman gives birth in Revelation 12 that the great dragon will unleash a great flood to wash her away. I suspect that refers to the collapse of the 3 Gorges Dam in China. That disaster will lead to others like China setting off EMPs in the US to wipe out our electricity and cause our tents and shelter to be destroyed in a moment. We know from the prophecies that the world's currency will collapse and they will take draconian measures to enforce a new world currency. All of this chaos will take place in the midst of a global pandemic. Economic collapse, famine, plague and War.

21 How long must I see the battle standard and hear the sound of the trumpet? 22 “My people are fools; they do not know me. They are senseless children; they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good.”

This is reminiscent of the Lord’s word concerning the foolish virgins. They were awoken by the sound of the trumpet and the call that the Bridegroom comes. But they were foolish, they didn’t fill their vessel with oil, with the spirit, with the living word of God. As a result they were senseless, no understanding, no knowledge of how to do good. This reminds me of riding a horse or sailing a boat. Everything can seem easy and simple until the minute you lose control and then it is chaos and catastrophe.

23 I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone. 24 I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying. 25 I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away. 26 I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

The call was to “behold the Bridegroom” But the foolish virgins are those who were distracted beholding everything but the Lord. The wise virgins are those whose eyes are firmly set on Him.

27 This is what the Lord says: “The whole land will be ruined, though I will not destroy it completely. 28 Therefore the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will not relent, I have decided and will not turn back.” 29 At the sound of horsemen and archers every town takes to flight. Some go into the thickets; some climb up among the rocks. All the towns are deserted; no one lives in them. 30 What are you doing, you devastated one? Why dress yourself in scarlet and put on jewels of gold? Why highlight your eyes with makeup? You adorn yourself in vain. Your lovers despise you; they want to kill you.

Many Christians and many pastors and many churches sold themselves to the world like a harlot. Revelation 17 and 18 refer to this. The Lord’s wrath will burn with fire towards them. Everyone will know that the rapture of the believers has caused a collapse of society, so they will hate those who are left behind yet have the name of Christian. Those who are nominal Christians.

31 I hear a cry as of a woman in labor, a groan as of one bearing her first child—the cry of Daughter Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands and saying, “Alas! I am fainting; my life is given over to murderers.”

The analogy here is to two groups. The child she gives birth to is called “the man child” and he is caught up to heaven. He represents the raptured saints. The woman represents God’s people who are left on earth.

Hebrews 5 -- Learn obedience from the things you suffer

1 Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2 He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness. 3 This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people. 4 And no one takes this honor on himself, but he receives it when called by God, just as Aaron was. 5 In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.” 6 And he says in another place, “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” 7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

These four points really stand out to me. First, He was heard because of His reverent submission. Second, He learned obedience from the things He suffered, third, when He was made perfect He didn’t abandon us, rather He became the source of salvation to all who obey him and after all that He was designated by God to be the High priest after the order of Melchizedek. My prayer for many years was that I could read the Bible. The first time I opened it myself I had no idea what it was saying. I told the Lord I’d need a crowbar to open this book up. Later I met with a group where many members were experts in the ministry of one Bible expositor. I had no interest in that, my interest was simply to be able to pick up the Bible and read it and understand it. This put me on a path that involved a lot of suffering. Those experiences were like a chisel knocking pieces of you off so that you learned to walk the narrow path that leads to life. Anyone can walk the broad way that leads to destruction but if you want to walk the narrow way you soon realize you have fat feet. It seems the way is too narrow for you to fit through, yet if you obey the Lord, if you humble yourself, if you discard all the baggage you have with your flesh and natural man you find you can walk this path. Everything you suffer teaches you one more way that you can be more obedient. Much of your suffering comes from ignoring the lord, when you reflect on that it causes you all the more to be obedient and trust Him. But then you learn that in the Body we are conduits, we don’t serve our own interests. If the Lord gives you a word then you need to pass that on, if you have a revelation, a hymn, a testimony, a dream, then you need to share that with others. Finally, if you can get through those three stages you can become a priest according to the order of Melchizedek. This is different from the Aaronic priesthood or even the Levitical priesthood. You cannot be appointed to this priesthood by man, only God can make this designation. Obedience to what? The Lord told us to be His witnesses, have you been obedient to that? The Lord said that we need to love the saints as ourselves and by this all men will know that we are His disciples. Have you been obedient to that?

11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

So this is strange, you can have a brother or sister that has spent 20 or 40 years in the Lord, in the word, in the meetings, in the fellowship and yet they still need someone to teach them the elementary truths. I’m not talking about spectator Christians, I’m not talking about nominal Christians, I’m talking about dedicated, serious Christians. The problem is they are not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness, they haven’t trained themselves to distinguish between good and evil. Very early on in my Christian life I was faced with a decision. The word I got from the Lord was from Galatians, where Paul said he did not give in to them for a moment that the truth of the gospel might remain with you. The elders put the pressure on me in the meetings, behind closed doors, and in many other ways. This group had a person they referred to as “the apostle” and to a large extent every church meeting hall was a “franchise” to sell this man’s ministry. During the meetings everyone was given a chance to share something they enjoyed of the Lord. The pressure was on to turn those testimonies into testimonials for this brother’s ministry. I shared often and never once spoke a negative word concerning this brother, “the apostle”. However, I also didn’t promote his ministry and simply shared directly from the Bible. More and more it became apparent that the “testimonials” for this man’s ministry were simply advertisements and were being tuned out. No one was getting life from these obligatory messages from our sponsor, which made the contrast between the genuine testimonies and sales pitches even more stark. So it became more and more difficult for me to walk that narrow way. Finally they sent an elder to take over the church I was meeting at. His messages attacked me as being a drug addict who was mentally unstable and who the elders were very concerned about and had hoped I would get better. Although he didn’t mention me by name it was clear to all in the meeting that he had to be talking about me. How do you respond to that? When the opportunity to share a testimony was given I was the first to my feet to the shock of all. I shared something I enjoyed about one of the Bible verses he had referenced and otherwise completely ignored everything else. After the meeting a brother cornered me in front of all and asked who the brother was referring to. I said I didn’t know, ask him. That infuriated everyone. The next week this elder doubled down and now accused me of being a homosexual, again, not mentioning me by name, but otherwise making it very clear he was talking about me. Once again I was the first to my feet, ignored everything he had shared and focused on one of the Bible verses that had been referenced. I felt like he was giving the saints poisoned water it was essential I give them clean water to drink. However the saints were very upset, they knew someone was lying to them and it was blatant. But then, by the Lord’s grace an elderly couple also moved to that church, a couple that had known me for my entire time in the church and they were able to state clearly that everything this elder had shared had been false. As a result he began backpedalling fast and in the next message he shared that he wasn’t talking about my time in the church after being saved and baptized but before that time. That was astounding to me as I was from NY and he was from Dallas. I thought how on earth does this man know who I was in NY? However, I knew that was a temptation, like a steep muddy bank on the side of the narrow way. The minute you address it you slide into the ditch, so I again ignored him. However, this time the saints didn’t ignore him and one by one they expressed their outrage. If you are truly walking the narrow way that leads to life you can expect to be attacked, slandered, and provoked. But regardless of what they throw at you the Lord has given you a promise, obey Him, reject temptation, and this path leads to life. This is the way to the Father. This is what it means to take up your cross and follow Him. This is how we learn obedience and this is how we learn to not just worry about our salvation but that of others as well.

Isaiah 3 Listen Carefully

One of the key reasons we are studying these prophecies is so that we could know what to do. Noah didn’t just get the word that the world would be destroyed in a flood he was also told in a very detailed way what to do about it. In the same way this chapter gives us a very detailed account that we need to listen carefully to. Whenever you give people instructions that they need to follow you will say “listen carefully”, it is like saying “do exactly what I say”.

1 Listen carefully, the Lord God of hosts is removing from Jerusalem and from Judah

Both supply and support, the whole supply of bread

And the whole supply of water;

2 The brave man and the warrior [He is also removing],

The judge and the prophet,

The diviner and the elder,

3 The captain of fifty and the man of honor,

The counselor and the expert artisan,

And the skillful enchanter.

The Lord God of hosts is removing them. That is first and foremost. Think about the rapture, who is God taking? Enoch, Noah, Joshua and Caleb, Ruth, Esther and Mordecai, Daniel and the three men, etc. He is removing the first fruits. These are men of faith, you can’t be “brave” without faith. These are the joints of supply, those that feed and water, and those who support, care, and pray for others. These are they that judge righteous judgement, they speak forth the word of God (prophesy), they speak beforehand (prophesy) and they have the wisdom of years. They are honorable, counselors, experts in their field, and eloquent in their speech. In the twinkling of an eye they will be gone. Now what happens when you realize those ten spies who gave you the evil report have caused you to be cursed? They will be gone as well. The Lord describes it as gathering the wheat into the barns and casting the tares into the fire. Talking heads, politicians, religious leaders, everyone who led people astray they will also be revealed and they will also be removed.

4 And I will make mere boys their princes,

And capricious (impulsive, unpredictable) children will rule over them.

BLM, Antifa, AOC, the Squad -- children will rule over you.

5 And the people will be oppressed,

Each one by another, and each one by his neighbor;

The boy will be arrogant and insolent toward the elder

And the vulgar (common) toward the honorable [person of rank].

Do you really think they will stop with tearing down Abraham Lincoln’s statue or George Wasthington? They will be arrogant, insolent and vulgar towards every person of honor and rank. If you are left behind after the rapture then what exactly is your honor and rank based on, certainly not based on faith in the Lord Jesus. You mocked and derided the Jesus freaks and deplorables because you were too high and mighty to believe in things like the rapture. Well, you will reap what you have sowed.

6 When a man takes hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying,

“You have a robe, you shall be our judge and ruler,

And this pile of ruins will be under your control,”

7 He will protest on that day, saying,

“I will not be a governor;

For in my house there is neither bread nor clothing;

You should not make me a judge and ruler of the people.”

After seeing what they did to Trump anyone want to be president? Everyone you know will be bankrupted trying to hire lawyers to represent them during the Mueller investigation, they will impeach you twice in an attempt to remove your retirement income, and they’ll try to remove your Secret Service detail so that you are an easy target to be assassinated. Any takers?

8 For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen,

Because their words and their actions are against the Lord,

To rebel against His glorious presence and defiantly provoke Him.

I have seen enough in the news to know this is true. The words and actions of the leaders of this country are against the Lord. They have rebelled against His glorious presence and they defiantly provoke Him. Their judgement has been proclaimed, it will be executed.

9 Their partiality testifies against them,

They display their sin like Sodom;

They do not even hide it.

Woe (judgment is coming) to them!

For they have brought evil on themselves [as a reward].

No one can deny that their partiality testifies against them and that they display it without even attempting to hide it. Used to be the news would attempt to be “fair and balanced”, no more.

10 Say to the righteous that it will go well with them,

For they will eat the fruit of their [righteous] actions.

11 Woe (judgment is coming) to the wicked! It shall go badly with him,

For what his hand has done shall be done to him.

Are you listening carefully? No one is talking about being a “prepper”, or moving to a cabin in the wilderness, or buying up guns, or investing in gold. It will go well with the righteous. It will go well with those who have been washed in the blood of Jesus and are standing on His redemption and not trusting in themselves that they are righteous. On the other hand it will go very bad for the wicked. But what about those in the middle, those who have not received the salvation once for all given to us but on the other hand they are not wicked either. I don’t know, why are you still trying to straddle two worlds? Why are you trying to trust in your own righteousness? I don’t see any mention here of those people who “are good people”. Rather it is black and white, you have righteous and you have wicked. Do you think if you look the other way when the righteous are oppressed that you are a “good person” because you didn’t physically oppress them? Good luck with that.

12 O My people! Children are their oppressors,

And women rule over them.

O My people! Your leaders lead you astray

And confuse (destroy, swallow up) the direction of your paths.

You mocked, ridiculed and insulted Christians. You said they had a mental problem, you said they needed to be deprogrammed, you said that their faith in the Lord was a crutch that you didn’t need. You were strong, they were weak. OK, you can dish out the insults, lets see how well you are at taking the abuse.

Isaiah 3 God Will Judge

13 The Lord rises to contend,

And stands to judge the people.

The US leaders were shocked at the response to this last election. They seemed to think that they would mock, ridicule and declare Biden the winner and that would be it. They never expected the response they have gotten. It wasn’t Trump rising and contending, it was the Lord.

14 The Lord enters into judgment with the elders of His people and their princes,

“For it is you who have devoured the vineyard [with your oppression, you have robbed the people and ruined the country];

The plunder of the poor is in your houses.

The mortgage meltdown is the plunder of the poor. These fires in the West or the flood during Katrina, both were man made. It is not readily apparent, but the water usage in the West has made this drought far worse than it would have been otherwise. The reason they keep screaming “climate change” is because they are trying to cover up their mismanagement. That does not reduce the guilt of those who burn down the Amazon rainforest, it just doesn’t allow them to use that as a fig leaf for their own mismanagement. Likewise with Katrina and hubris of trying to dam the Mississippi river and the lie that no one knew this would happen (if no one knew then why was the liability insurance so high for people who got flooded prior to the flood?)

15 “What do you mean by crushing My people

And grinding the face of the poor?”

Declares the Lord God of hosts.

Regardless of the disaster whether fire, or flood, or mortgage meltdown, or WMD’s, or war in the middle East it seems it is always the poor who have their faces ground into dust. The banks were too big to fail so no one goes to jail for very clear crimes? The war over WMD’s was clearly based on a lie but no one goes to jail? No rich corporation is going to build in New Orleans without flood insurance, so they didn’t build in the 9th ward, only the poor. Every time someone gets elected president we learn how they didn’t have to go to war (it seems JFK was the last president who really served on a battlefield). Nixon got a cushy stateside job. The people sending poor kids to fight and die are no longer going with them. It makes sense, it seems JFK’s biggest reluctance to starting wars is that he knew what war was like and could empathize with those going.

Isaiah 3 Judah’s Women Denounced

16 Moreover, the Lord said, “Because the daughters of Zion are proud

And walk with outstretched necks and seductive (flirtatious, alluring) eyes,

And trip along with mincing steps and an affected gait

And walk with jingling anklets on their feet,

17 Therefore the Lord will afflict the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion with scabs [making them bald],

And the Lord will expose their foreheads (send them into captivity).”

18 In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets, [braided] caps, crescent [head] ornaments, 19 dangling earrings, bracelets, and the hanging veils and scarves, 20 head wraps (turbans), [short, jingling] ankle chains, sashes, perfume boxes, amulets (charms), 21 signet [finger] rings, nose rings, 22 festival robes, outer tunics, shawls, handbags, 23 hand mirrors, [fine linen] undergarments, headbands, and veils [covering the entire body].

God said to “listen carefully” the judgement is all about our walk. The righteous will be fine, the wicked will be crushed. Women very often seem to feel they are not responsible for the wars and the corruption, that is being done by men. Really? What kind of walk do these women have? I don’t know anything about the various head ornaments, veils, scarves, amulets, chains, handbags, undergarments, etc. It certainly appears to me that they are fully invested in this evil and adulterous age. Remember Lot’s wife.

24 Now it will come to pass that instead of the sweet fragrance of spices there will be [the stench of] rottenness;

Instead of a belt, a rope;

Instead of well-set hair, baldness;

Instead of fine clothes, a robe of sackcloth;

And branding [of captives by the scorching heat] instead of beauty.

25 Your men will fall by the sword

And your mighty men in battle.

26 And Jerusalem’s gates will lament (cry out in grief) and mourn [as those who wail for the dead];

And she, being ruined and desolate, will sit upon the ground.

There is a wonderful picture here of a road that leads to you sitting on the ground, ruined and desolate. It started with them being proud, then outstretched neck with flirtatious eyes. Fornication is a game to them that they are playing. Then you see their “affected gait” their walk is corrupt for all to see, and in the event no one is watching they put little jingling things on their feet. This walk leads to disease from head to toe. It leads to poverty, single parent mothers, and domestic violence. It leads to a stench, baldness, and a branding of their kids. They lose their men, not just their husband but also their children.

Hebrews 2:10 For it was fitting for God [that is, an act worthy of His divine nature] that He, for whose sake are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the author and founder of their salvation perfect through suffering [bringing to maturity the human experience necessary for Him to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest].

The book of Hebrews presents Jesus as being higher than the angels and the author of our salvation. The New Testament is a legal document that gives us an inheritance into Christ, and that is our salvation. This salvation is of spirit, soul and body. The redemption of our body, what we typically refer to as the rapture, is part of this salvation.

What is the book of Enoch? Apparently it is a genuine experience of God and of angels, but it is not part of our legal document that gives us this salvation. It was not authored by Jesus. Do they have their own calendar? Yes they do, but it is clear in Hebrews they are our servants. If the master gets up at 6 the servants get up at 5, they are on a different time table. It is foolish for us to think that a calendar given to the servants is the one we should use for our salvation. In fact it is insulting to the Lord.

The New Testament is a legal document that was enacted when Jesus was crucified. That is powerful, you can't undo it. Like any legal document there are obligations that we must keep and there are obligations that the Lord must keep. We are to keep the Lord's word, we are to obey His commands beginning with the word to believe and be baptized. But there are other commands like "do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together and so much the more as you see the day approaching". We need to keep His command to love one another, we need to keep His word to take up our cross and follow Him. We also need to keep His word to watch. We have been charged repeatedly to watch for His return. That includes paying attention to the signs in the heavens, that includes paying attention to current events, that includes learning prophecies like the Fig tree prophecy and that includes paying attention to types and shadows like "the days of Noah" and "the days of Lot". We are also told that the feasts are a shadow of things to come, they are prophetic of the end time, and yet we are also told to not let anyone judge us with regards to these feast days.

That should be a problem, if we are to watch for the Lord's appearing and the feast days will help us to know when that appearing will be, why are we also specifically told to not let anyone judge us about keeping these days? In fact the New Testament is very simple on this point, we are only to keep one day, the Lord's day. This is the day we remember the Lord with the Lord's table. Whereas the Old Testament is very complicated with many different days and a variety of ways to calculate them and keep them the New Testament is very simple you keep one day, the Lord's day, on "whatever day" you keep it.

That is a strange expression, "whatever day". I have met with churches in Europe, all across the US, in Mexico, and in Asia. Everywhere I have gone they all keep the Lord's day on Sunday (except of course for Seventh Day adventists who think they are keeping the Sabbath on Saturday, but they know that is the seventh day, not the eighth). So why called "whatever day" if all the Christians will celebrate it on the same day? Because based on the Biblical calendar in the OT it is "whatever day". The new moon, when you can first see the sliver of the New Moon is always the first day of the month. The seventh day, the sabbath day, is always the first quarter of the moon. The fourteenth day is always the full moon and also a sabbath day, the 3rd quarter is also a sabbath day and then the new moon when the moon is completely dark will be a 2-3 day weekend every month. Saturday, or Saturn's day, is not the sabbath. For two thousand years we have been keeping "whatever day". Yet that is the day we are charged to keep.

So think about that if you are trying to watch for the Lord's return. When the Lord returns it will be a judgement, some will receive reward, others punishment or outer darkness. Some will enter into the wedding feast, others will be shut out. This is part of a legal contract just as a betrothal is a legal agreement or a business deal for people to invest your money is a legal agreement or tenant farmers have a legal agreement. You can't be judged based on the book of Enoch if the legal document does not specify to use Enoch. The New Testament never tells us to keep Enoch's calendar and instead tells us not to put the words of Angels above the words of the Lord Jesus and the Fellowship of the apostles.


So then what do we know?

1. We are only told to keep "whatever day" and so I think if God is going to judge us for not watching and treating the saints poorly it will be because of what we are doing on the Lord's day. I would therefore think that the Lord's day is a high watch day.

2. The Lord's day is the 8th day. Yes for 2,000 years we have been keeping it on "whatever day" but I suspect when the rapture comes it will be "about the eighth day" as it says in Luke for the day of the Mount of Transfiguration. However, that is only for the day described in Luke, the first rapture.

3. There is an appointed time for everything under the sun, this is who God is both yesterday and today. So I believe there will be a OT festival that will take place on the 8th day (8th, 15th, or 23rd of the month).

4. I would think logic would dictate the full moon as the moon depicts the church and the full moon would depict the lamps fully lit. That narrows it to the 15th of the month. I think that narrows it down to Shavuot or the 15th of Av.

5. However, the Lord said that the next time we saw the Lord we would say "blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord" a special reference to the sabbath before a man was to get married. So it is confusing, but one thing is clear we are talking about a very auspicious day for a wedding.

6. We also know that the dead in Christ rise first and according to the type that would be the early morning of the 15th of Av.

7. There is an interesting picture in this word AV, it looks like an arrow up followed by an arrow down, as we go up Satan and his angels get cast down.

8. But what we really know is that we don't need to worry about Enoch's calendar, and we don't need to worry about Torah Calendar. The Torah calendar is a compromise, Jewish rabbis trying to conform the Bible calendar to the world's calendar. The Bible says the end of the year is the vernal equinox, so we know the first day of the first month has to come after March 21/22. Using that calculation the 15th of AV is August 22nd which is the Lord's day.

This is not date setting and it is not speculation. The 15th of AV based on the Bible is August 22nd. The evening of Aug 8th would be the first day of the month. That means the evening of Aug 22nd is the 15th of AV. Whether or not that is the rapture date I don't know. What I do know is it is the eighth day, it is a full moon, it is an auspicious day for a wedding, it is a great day to let the believers know that we are no longer under the curse of wandering around in the wilderness and it is the Lord's day.

This is almost unbelievable, a long line of cars on the highway with their windshields smashed.

Jeremiah 5:1-14 -- “How did we get here?” Senator Durbin

1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.

Senator Durbin asked “how did we get here?” He was troubled by the process of confirming Amy Coney Barrett. Apparently she would not respond to any questions about her beliefs or thoughts on relevant issues like Climate Change and whether or not a President could take certain unilateral actions. How did we get here? Think about the Kavanaugh hearing and the Clarence Thomas hearing. Think about what the Supreme court rulings on abortion have done. Instead of asking about the US constitution they want to know if you are going to support this ruling which half the country thinks is an outrage. How did we get here, that is the question.

2 And though they say, The Lord liveth; surely they swear falsely.

The Senators are false. For example, look at the outrage that a justice has been nominated during an election year. There have been 29 justices nominated during an election year. The only example of one not being nominated was when Lincoln was President. A vacancy opened up less than a month before the election and the Senate was not in session. Even if he had nominated someone they couldn’t have confirmed them. However, the day the Senate did return he nominated someone and they were confirmed 24 hours later.

3 O Lord, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

This is what happens when you try to defend a lie. The lie is that the US constitution protects the right to an abortion. It doesn’t say anything about abortion and therefore according to the US constitution if it isn’t covered by them it is up to the States to decide individually and the US Supreme court has no jurisdiction.

4 Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the Lord, nor the judgment of their God. 5 I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the Lord, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.

When I was growing up you had the thought that the Supreme court justices were great men who understood the way of the Lord and the judgement of God. That has been shown to be altogether false. Why do you think we have protests where no one trusts those in authority? The Warren commission gave their seal of approval on a bogus investigation of JFK’s assassination. The 911 commission gave their seal of approval on a bogus investigation. Slanderous hearings during the confirmation of Supreme court justices, they have altogether broken the yoke and burst the bonds.

6 Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

These protests, riots and looting are about to get very, very bad. Why? One senator said it well, when Obama was elected he was not happy, but he accepted the outcome as the will of the people. When Trump was elected many high ranking officials did not accept the outcome. They said he wasn’t their president, etc. They set an example for the rest of the country. Imagine how much worse it will be if the evidence comes out that the election was stolen? We know that their polls have been rigged. Telling the American people that Clinton was a shoe in also led to the sense that the election had been stolen. They are reaping what they sowed in their lies and in their disrespect of the many Americans that support him and voted for him. When they speak so disrespectfully of the President that he is a racist it infers that all those who voted for him must also be racist. It is one thing to disagree with those who are a different political party, but to slander them all with a broad brush results in a tit for tat. As a result those on the right see the left as nothing but liars.

7 How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses. 8 They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife. 9 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the Lord: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Let’s be honest here. The US was blessed by God, we were fed to the full, and as a whole this country has committed adultery and assembled themselves in the harlots’ houses. Pornography has grown exponentially in this country through some loophole with cable TV and the internet. The corruption you see in government with the politicians is a kind of adultery. They have a covenant with the American people but have sold themselves to the corporate interests.

10 Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the Lord's. 11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the Lord.

The believers who are filled with the Holy Spirit have been a wall to this country. Yes, they have been despised and mocked, but they have kept out the horrors you can see around the world. We have not been occupied with other armies. We did not had acts of war take place on our land since 1812 until Pearl Harbor and then 9/11. 9/11 was a breach in the wall, a warning, but that wall will be destroyed with her battlements taken away when the rapture takes place. There are two kinds of genuine Christians: preachers of righteousness and righteous men. The preachers of righteousness, like Noah, are the battlements. They will be taken in the rapture. The righteous men, like Lot, will not be taken. So the Lord will not make a full end of the wall.

12 They have belied the Lord, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine: 13 And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.

They have mocked the Lord and His servants, they despise them, so they will discover what happens in this country when you take them away. Think how arrogant Americans are to think that we will not see sword or famine in this country, so that is going to change very quickly. What about the prophets where the word is not in them? They will be left behind where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. They will have to go through the Great tribulation.

14 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

They are saying this is not from God. The Pandemic is not a warning. So then, it has been determined.

Isaiah 4 This will never happen and when it does it will be glorious.

1 And in that day seven women will take hold of one man, saying, “We will eat our own food and wear [and provide] our own clothes; only let us be called by your name; take away our shame [of being unmarried].”

Talk about politically incorrect. I would say in the last one hundred years the US and the rest of the world following the US has gone in exactly the opposite direction. If you suggested that the women’s movement would lead to more single mothers, more poverty and more domestic abuse you would be slammed. That is not happening and boy will you deserve it when it does happen. Anyone who suggested a slippery slope was a bigot. This has brought in a caste system of the elites who are the enlightened and see women’s liberation movement as a great development while anyone who would question it is the deplorable caste. You need to celebrate women pastors. If you question whether this goes against the Bible then clearly you and Paul and the apostles are misogynists. Celebrate women’s freedom from being under the thumb of a man and if you question the need for two parent families then you are the closed minded bigot. But sure as the sun rises in the east this did lead to poverty, single parent mothers and domestic violence. So they then gave you the solution of killing those babies and Roe v. Wade somehow skipped the whole legislative process and was inserted into the constitution between the lines. Will the women’s right movement lead to many unwanted pregnancies and a rise in abortions? That is not happening and once it is obvious that is happening then that is a “glorious” thing. It was soon clear that the majority of Americans disliked the direction the country was taking and so you were told to accept what you were getting and learn to like it. Very quickly this became a very sharp dividing line between Christians and non christians. The christians were insulted and soon became the lower caste of those infantile people stuck with the outdated ideas of a 2,000 year old book. This is when good became evil and evil became good. It was a march of “progress” with the LGBTQ rules. Anyone who noticed that they were training five year olds to become drag queens was an evil bigot, anyone who suggested that there might be harm in giving children puberty blocking drugs was shouted down as an evil bigot who probably bullied others as a kid. Anyone who suggested that the trans laws would lead to women’s locker rooms with naked men walking around was an idiot, liar, and bigot. Then if you talk about where all this will lead they accuse you of wishing for that outcome. This will lead to the US becoming Sodom and Gomorrah, that is an evil lie. Go one step further and say this will cause God to rain down His judgement on us just as He did then, well then this is because you are wishing for that outcome and it shows how cruel the Bible really is. This brings us to where we are now with the whole evangelical christians are worthless and deplorable and if they try to leave we’ll kill you.

But in the end the truth will come out. These women have led us down a path of destruction, the whole country will come to realize that and there will be great shame in what they have done.

2 In that day the Branch of the Lord will be splendid and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be excellent and lovely to those of Israel who have survived. 3 It will come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy (set apart for God)—everyone who is recorded for [eternal] life in Jerusalem. 4 When the Lord has washed away the [moral] filth of the daughters of Zion and has cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning, 5 then the Lord will create over the entire site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud by day, smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory and brilliance will be a canopy [a defense, a covering of His divine love and protection]. 6 And there will be a pavilion for shade from the heat by day, and a refuge and a shelter from the storm and the rain.

This is a nice picture of the end of the age, completely politically incorrect, sure to enrage some, but the word of God stands to this day.

The Lord is comparing the situation to a woman who is completely soiled with filth and blood. The end of the age is like taking a shower where all of that filth is washed off and down the drain. No doubt there are people today looking at verse 1 and saying never, “I will never do that”. This is true, you will be washed off during the tribulation and you will go down the drain. The “day of the Lord” and particularly the last seven years of this age is a time of God power washing the earth. A whole lot of filth will be washed away. Verse 1 is not talking about everyone today, it is talking about everyone “in that day”. There will be a whole lot of people who don’t make it to that day.

Samson -- "Let me die with the Philistines"!

Judges 16:23 Now the Philistine lords gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to celebrate, for they said,

“Our god has given Samson our enemy into our hands!”
24 When the people saw Samson, they praised their god, for they said,

“Our god has handed over our enemy to us,
The ravager of our country,
Who has killed many of us.”

Right now they are doing the January 6th investigation and it is the fulfillment of this story. Samson would be the MAGA movement and Delilah would be the deep state. The Nazarite vow is very strict about not drinking wine (don't get help from the deep state) and don't let a razor cut your hair. Your hair is cut when you violate that vow. January 6th was a major violation of that vow. Granted the majority of those who were the assault force of the insurrection were not MAGA but enough MAGA got suckered into the ploy. This is what happens when you try to follow the Lord without truly being trained in the way of the Lord.

25 Now when they were in high spirits, they said, “Call for Samson, so that he may amuse us.” So they called Samson out of the prison, and he entertained them. They made him stand between the pillars. 26 Then Samson said to the boy who held him by the hand, “Let me feel the pillars on which the [roof of the] house rests, so that I may lean against them.” 27 Now the house was full of men and women; all the Philistine lords were there, and on the flat roof were about three thousand men and women who looked on while Samson was entertaining them.

This investigation will be a great amusement to Pelosi, Schumer, and many of the other leaders and officials of the Philistines who lead our country. The temple of Dagon is in fact the Capitol building. Dagon is the god of the deep state.

Samson Is Avenged
28 Then Samson called to the Lord and said, “O Lord God, please remember me and please strengthen me just this one time, O God, and let me take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes.” 29 Samson took hold of the two middle [support] pillars on which the house rested, and braced himself against them, one with his right hand and the other with his left. 30 And Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” And he stretched out with all his might [collapsing the support pillars], and the house fell on the lords and on all the people who were in it. So the dead whom he killed at his death were more than those whom he had killed during his life. 31 Then his brothers and his father’s entire [tribal] household came down, took him, and brought him up; and they buried him in the tomb of Manoah his father, [which was] between Zorah and Eshtaol. So Samson had judged Israel for twenty years.

One mistake they have made is to give these ones in prison six months to think about it, to pray, to open to the Lord, to repent of their errors and to see how cruel and evil they really are. The deep state is like a huge snake that lives off of rodents, rats, and other small animals. Swallowing Samson is a mistake that will burst this snake in two. Samson is going to die but he is going to take the deep state with him. Not only so but the fallout from this Jan 6th investigation will be more destructive to the deep state than everything the MAGA movement has done up to this point.

Jeremiah 5:15-31 The people love fake news

15 Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the Lord: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.

Are we talking about China? Russia? Too bad the Americans didn’t learn foreign languages. A mighty nation, an ancient nation, a nation where we don't know their tongue. That sounds like China.

16 Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.

China and Russia have recently had great military parades, impressive and terrifying at the same time.

17 And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trusted, with the sword.

What an insult, to have UN peacekeepers in the US. This is figurative language, are we talking about peacekeepers, or are we talking about the Pandemic?

18 Nevertheless in those days, saith the Lord, I will not make a full end with you.

The Tribulation is divided into two parts, the first 3 and ½ years God does not make a full end of us because there is still an opportunity to repent, turn to the Lord and get right with Him.

19 And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the Lord our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your's.

What do you think the end is when you serve strange Gods? If you legalize prostitution then the land will be filled with pimps and brothels. If you let foreign countries contribute to your campaigns and your “charitable foundations” then you will serve them. Right now the cartels control our border, did Biden cut a deal with them? This is like Scar in the Lion King making a deal with the hyenas. The government wants to pay your debts, sounds good, but your debts refer to your mortgage. If the government pays your mortgage they own your house and you are living in a land that is not yours serving strange gods.

20 Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying, 21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not: 22 Fear ye not me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

You have eyes and can see these fires that are consuming the west which we cannot put out, these hurricanes and floods which devastate entire communities, and a pandemic that is shutting down your economy and yet you don’t fear God? Not yet? OK, you were warned, those were simply shots across the bow.

23 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. 24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

The proper response is to confess your sins and repent of them and worship the Lord.

25 Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. 26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.

Hebrews 6 -- Moving on from the elementary teachings to casting mountains into the sea

1 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.

This is the foundation of our faith. Repent, make a turn from the acts that lead to death and begin to walk the narrow way that leads to life. Second, we study the word and build up our faith in the Lord. Third, we learn the “cleansing rites”, how to restore saints to the fellowship, how to deal with sin in the church. This is what Matthew 18 deals with. Then we learn about the ministry and sending out saints to carry the gospel and minister the word. Then we come to two key topics, the resurrection of the dead which includes the rapture and the eternal judgement. We learn about the Bema judgement and the Great White throne judgement. Basically this is what the book of Romans, 1Corinthians and 2Corinthians talks about. The basic teachings are the gospel, the church and the ministry. This is the New Testament, so if these are the elementary teachings what does it mean to “move beyond” these elementary teachings?

4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of Godall over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. 7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

Wow! Did you get that? The writer of this book (in my opinion it is a collaboration between Paul and James, but I am not a historian, just a guess). So why do I guess James and Paul? This book is the transition from the ministry of Paul to James. The book of James focuses on how to recognize false prophets. Paul gives us all these elementary teachings (the gospel, the church and the ministry) and then Hebrews tells us to move on from there, and James reveals false prophets. If this were Karate once you had completed the foundational teachings you would move on to prepare for combat.

9 Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation. 10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

It is as though we are walking on a balance beam, a little too much to this side and we will fall just as Satan, Balaam and Judas fell. A little too much to the other side and we’ll become lazy. Many of these false prophets are not lazy, that is for sure, but they also aren’t patient. I never really appreciated how patience could have her perfect work until I read the book of James. Right now we are watching the championship game played out before our eyes. "Draining the swamp" is combat of the highest order. The MAGA movement was exceedingly strong, like Samson, but they got suckered by Delilah, these FBI agents who embedded with a few fringe organizations to give legitimacy to this false flag event at the Capitol. Remember all of this was about the election fraud and yet with patience we have slowly unwound the lies and deceit. Arizona has done a forensic audit that has revealed massive fraud. Georgia and Pennsylvania have been motivated to also do a forensic audit. Michigan, Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Nevada are also considering forensic audits. There is a move on to audit all 50 states. Inch by inch we have pushed and dragged this business to conclusion. This Jan 6 hearing with all the crying and lying by the elected officials is humiliating, like the prophets of Baal crying and cutting themselves. Truly pathetic.

13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, 14 saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” 15 And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.

We have been promised to rule and reign with Jesus Christ over the earth. We were promised that the faithful ones would be put over several cities. That is not one of the elementary teachings.

16 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,20 where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Our hope is that the Lord Jesus will return as the glorious coming King, we will be raptured to the throne as His bride and be there at His coronation. Then we will rule and reign with Him during the “restoration of all things” known as the millennial kingdom and be with Him for eternity. Draining the swamp here will be evidence that we are ready to rule and reign with Jesus.

Proverbs 18:1-10 -- The perils of social media

1 An unfriendly person pursues selfish ends and against all sound judgment starts quarrels. 2 Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.

Social media is a mirror. Are you friendly, are you selfish, do you have sound judgement? I intentionally used the term “trolls” because many assume that anyone who says anything that disagrees with them is a “troll”. But that really means you find no pleasure in understanding but rather delight in airing your own opinion.

3 When wickedness comes, so does contempt, and with shame comes reproach.

Social media can discuss issues, can be a place for friends to gather, a place to get understanding and help from others. But it is also a place where the wicked will come. One person arrested at this January 6 riot had posted numerous videos online of him speaking at the ANTIFA rallies railing against the authorities. He posted educational videos of how to dress for a riot, how to hide your identity, what kind of weapons to bring. He used Twitter, Facebook and Discord to advertise the riot, tell people when and where to meet, etc. The things these wicked do are shameful. As a result the rest of us have contempt and reproach for these ones. For example, we wonder why the platforms don’t take these posts down. For example one kid complained to twitter that sexual pictures of him were posted on the internet against his will, which is a crime. He was being ridiculed and scorned at school. Twitter asked for proof that he was a minor so he sent the proof. After weeks of back and forth with them doing nothing they concluded that the posts did not violate their policy and refused to take action. They are now being sued, their policy does not trump US law and the law of California. As a result Twitter is being reproached. They censored the President because they felt his use of the term “Patriot” was hate speech. However there are thousands of tweets on Twitter with the term “Hang Pence” or “Assassinate the President” that the don’t see as hate speech. The Shah of Iran can tweet about genocide of Jews and that is not hate speech. They determine that “peaceful protest” was code for inciting violence whereas John Sullivan’s tweets and other ANTIFA tweets that clearly called for violence didn’t? These things are shameful for Twitter and along with that shame will come reproach. Investors and advertisers and subscribers will all reproach them. Now if you advertise or invest in Twitter you will be taking part in their sins.

4 The words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream.

It is not all bad. There are some great channels that are deep waters and rushing streams. I want to listen to them every day because if you don’t they will just pass you by. They have too much to say to always be repeating, it is your job to keep up.

5 It is not good to be partial to the wicked and so deprive the innocent of justice.

Parler was attacked by a coordinated attack to destroy their business. In a 24 hour period Google, Amazon.com and Apple all told them they would cancel all their contracts and shut them down. They were given 24 hours to move a billion dollar company. Meanwhile as Parler tried to find other servers that would host them these three companies went after those companies as well to make sure they would not host them. The stated reason for this was the claim that Parler was used to organize the riot on the Capitol. However, subsequent investigations have shown that the attack on the Capitol was organized via Twitter, Facebook and Discord. Of all the ones associated with the planning and initial breach of the capitol that have been arrested not one used Parler. They all used Twitter, Facebook and Discord. There was not a single post on Parler that organized or planned the riot prior to the event. So then why the rush to judgement? Well it turns out there was a very different reason for their panic and action. A year ago Parler had 1 million users, at the time of the attack they had 15 million. Rapid growth but still tiny compared to Twitter with 180 million active users. However, Twitter banned Trump and 7,000 other channels which might account for as many as 100 million active users and these companies learned that Trump had moved to Parler. If Twitter loses 100 million active users and Parler gains 100 million they will no longer be “tiny” but a clear rival to Twitter with spectacular growth.

6 The lips of fools bring them strife, and their mouths invite a beating.

The CEOs of these five tech giants are fools. No other way to say it. The entire world has seen what happened and have begun to take steps to protect themselves. Germany, France and Mexico all expressed outrage at the actions of these five. Uganda blocked Twitter during their election. Australia is introducing laws concerning liability for them and Google responded that if those laws are passed they might not be able to operate in Australia. The response from Australia was quite clear, anyone who is willing to abide by the laws of Australia are welcome to do business here, if you aren’t willing then you aren’t welcome. You can be sure that this is the tip of the iceberg. The governments of every country around the world are aware of what they have done and are taking action to protect themselves. They may not be vocal about it because they don’t wish to invite an attack, but they are all considering similar action. The actions of these companies has invited a beating in the stock market, a beating from their shareholders who will be demanding resignations and filing lawsuits, and a beating on public platforms.

7 The mouths of fools are their undoing, and their lips are a snare to their very lives.

I have warned T Rowe Price, a major investor in Twitter to sell the stock. There is a worldwide exodus from this company and when the earnings are released in February it will be evident for all to see. I expect to see a rapid and astounding drop in stock price for all five. The term “undoing” is so appropriate here. A stock price is similar to wager at a casino, you are betting what the stock will be worth in five years. If a company is growing rapidly as these companies have been and if you see them having a worldwide market to grow into as these companies did, then you can bet on huge growth and so the stock price is also very high. A month ago it would have been reasonable to bet that $100 worth of their stock could be worth $1,000 in five years. Therefore paying $500 for it would make sense. However, all the news that is coming out suggests that there will not be any growth at all, rather they may lose business over the next five years. Now, with all this news it is reasonable to bet that $100 worth of stock will be worth $80 in five years. A better price would therefore be $40. Unfortunately as the stock price drops from $500 to $40 you will see the “undoing” or “unwinding” of many positions. Also the companies will be forced to sell assets to cover debts. When stock prices fall it is like pulling pillars of support out of a structure, the entire building collapses.

8 The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts.

This is why companies hate to be the topic of the day. The talk of the tech giants demise will be like choice morsels at a cocktail party. Social media is the cocktail party.

9 One who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys.

Neither my wife or I are on Twitter. So what is the point of it, who cares? In the past if a company wanted to make a press announcement they would invite the press to a meeting and make a statement. Now they can simply tweet. The press all subscribe to their account and they’ll see the announcement and then retweet it on their platform, say a newspaper. The President did this, concerts were announced this way, new products, etc. But that does not explain 180 million active users. It turns out that a great many of the tweets are by people who are “slack in his work”, the stereotypical twenty something living in his parents basement. With nothing better to do they became the “brother to one who destroys”. As a result the “Cancel culture” was created by self important college kids acting as judge and jury. The problem is their threats were empty, people soon realized that their threat of cancelling Chick Fil A only caused the company to prosper, the same thing with Goya, etc. So then, you either slink off with your tail between your legs or you up the ante and ANTIFA was born. You won’t listen to us, we smash your windows.

10 The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

I am watching people right, left and center get cancelled, get doxed, get threatened, shamed and bullied. For what? For saying something that someone took offense to. But they haven’t cancelled me, haven’t focused their ire on me. Why not? It reminds me of those Dracula movies where you hold up the cross and the vampire has to flee. You can’t read these posts without reading the Bible. By the time you get to where I say “election fraud” or corruption or the “Biden crime family” it is so deep within the fortified tower of the Lord that I am safe.

Isaiah 6 The Tribulation will begin in the Fall

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple. 2 Above him stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4 And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of hosts.

6 Then flew one of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7 and he touched my mouth with it, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin forgiven. 8 And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me. 9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.

This word was fulfilled at the time of the Lord’s earthly ministry when He was speaking parables to the people and said


Matthew 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith,

By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand;

And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:

15

For this people’s heart is waxed gross,

And their ears are dull of hearing,

And their eyes they have closed;

Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes,

And hear with their ears,

And understand with their heart,

And should turn again,

And I should heal them.

11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until cities be waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land become utterly waste, 12 and Jehovah have removed men far away, and the forsaken places be many in the midst of the land. 13 And if there be yet a tenth in it, it also shall in turn be eaten up: as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remaineth, when they are felled; so the holy seed is the stock thereof.

We will be stripped bare just like an oak tree in the Fall when the leaves fall off. We know that even though these trees look dead that the life remains within them. In the same way everything gets stripped away from us so that we can fully appreciate that it is the words of God that give us life. Our appreciation of the word of life will grow as a result of this and all those things that are irrelevant will be washed away.

There is a picture here, we are to go and speak this message, it is a warning, the Day of the Lord comes after the harvest. It will be like the Fall when all the leaves fall off the trees and everything is barren. The tribulation is not to kill us but rather so that we can fully appreciate that life that is within us.

Proverbs 18:11-24 The walls will be scaled

11 The wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it a wall too high to scale.

I love this, the walls will come tumbling down. Most people look at these companies with the mega market cap, the ones who can afford an army of lawyers to keep litigation at bay for twenty years and think you can’t touch them. The wall is an illusion. The stock price is based on what we think their growth will be, in other words it is based on how well their product or service is perceived by the little people like you and me, the ants. If we think your product is poison who cares how wealthy you are, that will be gone in a day. Censorship is poison, manipulation is poison, pedophilia is poison, inciting riots is poison, providing a safe haven for terrorists like ISIS and Iran is poison, colluding to put competitors out of business by violating contracts is poison, and bribing officials for election fraud is poison. Seven blasts on the trumpet to warn the whole world that these walls are tumbling down.

12 Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.

What they did was haughty. No other word for it. Scornfully and condescendingly proud.

13 To answer before listening—that is folly and shame.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats introduced articles of impeachment against Trump based on headlines of newspapers rather than on evidence from an investigation. We now know that everything they claim is false, their behavior was folly and they have been brought to shame.

14 The human spirit can endure in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear? 15 The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.

While working prior to the shut down of the pandemic I got my news listening to the radio while commuting to work. I was very disappointed with the mainstream media, but didn’t have the time or inclination to do anything about it. But the first thing I did once we had a shut down was try to find reliable sources of information. I sought it out. I would hear someone I trusted refer to someone else and would seek that one out as well. It took me months, but little by little Newsmax, NTD, Tucker Carlson, Dan Bongino, Steve Bannon’s war room, Epoch Times, one by one I discovered reliable journalists.

16 A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.

The reliable journalists do the same thing. They seek out witnesses and experts that have a track record revealing they are gifted, they are right, they were telling the truth when it wasn’t popular.

17 In a lawsuit the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.

Lebron James needs to learn this lesson. The riots in Kenosha were incited by the NBA and Lebron. If you are going to hold someone responsible for inciting a riot these ones should be held accountable. It took months before we had the trial but when you heard the cross examination of Jacob Blake it was shocking, you completely justified the police and their actions.

18 Casting the lot settles disputes and keeps strong opponents apart. 19 A brother wronged is more unyielding than a fortified city; disputes are like the barred gates of a citadel.

The people who have been protesting with the “Stop the Steal” rally are a “brother wronged”. Texas was told they had no standing to challenge the behavior of another state that affects them. They are a brother wronged. DC used troops from Texas and Florida shamefully, forcing 500 soldiers to share a single porta potty. They are a brother wronged.

20 From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied.

I have read Peter Navarro’s three volumes on the evidence of election fraud. My stomach is filled and I am satisfied that the election was rigged.

21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Those of us who are fighting against censorship love the power of the tongue. So then how do you fight and what are the fruits? I am leaving Twitter, Amazon.com, Google, Facebook, Apple and Youtube. I use Rumble instead of Youtube, buy from anyone else rather than Amazon.com, use DuckDuckGo rather than google, use Parler rather than Facebook and Gab rather than Twitter. I will no longer buy Apple products. I do this because I love free speech. What are the fruits? Invest in Rumble, Parler, Gab, DuckDuckGo, etc. These companies are set to show incredible growth.

22 He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.

Our government is acting like a whore. The accusations against Biden are that he offered up his services for sale to whoever would pay. Same with Clinton, Obama, Hillary, Pelosi, Feinstein, and on and on. The Stop the Steal rally is our stand against the Madam and Pimps who are trying to steal this country.

23 The poor plead for mercy, but the rich answer harshly.

Time to wake up. Yes, individually we are “poor” but collectively, when 80 million people work together we are rich. We can pull down strongholds and slay giants.

24 One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Money is not a reliable friend, it is treacherous. The shareholders, they are treacherous. The advertisers, they are treacherous. In contrast the church and Jesus are reliable, they stick closer than a brother, you attack one of them they close ranks.

The period from 17th of Tammuz to 9th of Av is 21 days and is knows as "dire straits" a time when the enemies of the Lord have His people surrounded, and are about to destroy the temple of God. The 17th of Tammuz began on the evening of the 25th of July through the day of the 26th of July. We celebrated it this year by holding Pelosi's Jan 6th investigation and also by mandating that all government workers must be vaccinated or else be considered unclean. We will be in dire straits until August 16th/17th
