Knowledge is power. They are going to have full control over all the knowledge and over everything that is said.

By putting everyone in the world on their platform they will make any other site trivial. They will then be able to censor everyone on their platform so that the official narrative becomes the "truth". They will control people using AI. Monitoring all 8 billion people with AI will become feasible.

They say they will work together to combat hate speech and cyber crimes. Please note that when you look at the Noahide laws they are pushing for their one world religion, proclaiming that Jesus is God and that no one comes to the father but by Him, that will be considered hate speech, a cyber crime, and punishable by death.

What are the implications if the Pact for the Future is the covenant with the Many in Daniel?

Our understanding that this covenant with the many begins a seven year period known as "the 70th week" in Daniel. There is a majority of Bible scholars who believe that this 70th week will begin on the Feast of Trumpets. First, that is because all Shemitahs (a week of years) begin on that day. Second, because this covenant will be like a trumpet sounding the alarm that the King is coming and we are at war with the enemies of the Lord. Third because Paul said in Colossians that these feasts are a shadow of things to come.

According to the book of Revelation the Antichrist is a leader of a one world government and this Pact does strengthen the power of the UN as being that one world government.

However many bible teachers teach a pre-trib rapture. There is significant basis in the Bible to do this. However, there is no biblical basis to call it "pre-trib" because all believers go through tribulation. The Biblical term would be "pre-hour of trial that is to come upon the whole earth". It doesn't roll off the tongue, but it is precise and accurate. There have been inquisitions and trials before, but not that came upon the whole earth. This pact for the future lays the groundwork for these trials, but obviously these trials have not yet begun. Based on their Noahide laws they can argue that this blog, which proclaims that Jesus is the only way to the Father and that Jesus is one of the three in the triune God and that the triune God is one, that statement would be seen as hate speech and a cyber crime punishable by death because they will call it blasphemy. Let's call it the Spanish inquisition 2.0.

One of the issues with eschatology is they make everything the same thing. So "pre trib" means pre 70th week. But there is no Bible basis to say that the rapture takes place prior to the 70th week starting. What you could infer with a strong degree of confidence is that the 70th week begins when the church age ends. The covenant that marks the start of the 70th week is the same one that marks the end of the church age. Many have assumed that the covenant is a peace agreement with Israel, but that is because they see it as being the basis for the start of the 70th week. However, if we understand that it is also the end of the church age that would put a whole new slant on things. My understanding of the church age, also known as the age of grace, is that this is the age where we present the gospel of Jesus Christ to people, calling them to repent and choose Jesus. This age begins with the death and resurrection and ascension of Jesus followed by the disciples being sent out to preach this gospel. The New Testament is like a marriage contract, and Pentecost when the Spirit was poured out is likened to our engagement ceremony. So then when this covenant with the many is made it is like the entire world choosing to reject Jesus and choosing the Antichrist instead.

John 5:43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.

This is what this covenant has done. This also explains why they have been hush hush about it. If Christians fully understood what the UN has just approved they would be stunned. The UN is now in charge of all the governments. They don't get involved in the details, but if they want to censor you, if they want to quarantine you, they have the full authority and no country can veto them.

So then, if the 70th week began on the Feast of Trumpets, October 2nd, the same day we had a solar eclipse. And if that day was the day that the church age ended, then when is the rapture?

Mark 13:20 “If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.

This is a verse that has created a whole lot of speculation without anyone doing anything more than guessing. So let's first look at what days Jesus is referring to.

Mark 13:17 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 18 Pray that this will not take place in winter, 19 because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again.

You can't cut short the 7 year period, that is a legally binding contract. So some have argued that the length of the day is shortened, again, seems to be illegal. God is righteous and His throne is established on righteousness. So fewer days or shorter days seems to be contrary to something He would do. Instead, I would argue that it will be a full seven years and the days will be essentially the same length as well. What is being shortened is the period of time of the distress unequaled from the beginning.

The seventieth week begins with the white horse riding forth proclaiming peace and security and the whole world embracing that. It does not begin with distress unequaled. The rapture takes place prior to fire falling on Sodom and the flood wiping out the world as in Noah's time. People are eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage. So the rapture takes place prior to this period of distress. I believe that Luke has a different agenda from Mark or Matthew. Luke is to the saints raptured prior to this distress, Mark is to the left behind saints and Matthew is to Israel. Note that only Matthew and Mark have this verse about the days being cut short. To me that means the period of distress is less than seven years. Antichrist gets a full seven years, but that doesn't mean the seven years begins with great distress. Since the rapture is an escape from that great distress "as we go up the fire comes down" then it stands to reason that the rapture takes place after this covenant but on the day that the great distress takes place (I use the term "day" loosely meaning the same 24 hour period. Since the rapture is at the twinkling of the eye and since we change from one day to the next at the twinkling of an eye we could be raptured at the last moment of one day while the distress begins in the first moment of the next day).

I think this is supported by Luke 12, the Lord returns from a wedding to His house and finds His servants watching for Him. I believe that "wedding" is a reference to the covenant with the many in Daniel.

As I go into this prayer session, I cover myself and this environment with the Blood of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus. I cover all my loved ones and all that concerns me with the Blood of Jesus in Jesus’ Name. I reject and forbid any involvement of the flesh and Satan in these prayers in Jesus’ Name. "Israel is in a 7 front war"


Luke 21:20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.

Romans 2:22 You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

Gill: Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? for though at this time they abhorred idolatry, to which their forefathers were so much inclined, and so often fell into, yet they were guilty of sacrilege; by violating the worship of God, and polluting it with their own inventions; by pillaging or withholding, or not offering the sacrifices they ought; and by plundering the temple, and converting the sacred things of it to their own use.

This verse didn't make sense to me, it seemed like he was saying that they claimed to abhor idols while secretly plundering idol temples. But Gill's commentary gave me a different perspective. Imagine a Christian telling you they abhor idols but then putting up a Christmas tree in the sanctuary of the church. That is sacrilege. They are plundering the sanctuary of the church and polluting it with their own inventions. Likewise with Easter eggs or other decorations.

Acts 21:25 As for the Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they should abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.

Paul has clarified this for us. He said we don't need to worry about food made by people who are idol worshippers, we don't have to worry about a restaurant where the owner is a pagan, but we ourselves cannot eat from the Lord's table and the table of idols. So if in the church we have the Lord's table, and we also have a sacrifice to a pagan god like Christmas with all its idols or Easter and its idols, that is what we are to abstain from.

1 Corinthians 10:7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”

To me this verse reminds me of people who watch the NFL or NBA. They will tell the pastor to keep it short there is a big game, and then they run to the stadium to have a "tailgate party" where they eat barbecue and then they get up and indulge in revelry as they watch their game. The same is true of many Christmas parties.

Ephesians 5:5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Colossians 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

1 Peter 4:3 For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

Do not underestimate the harm from idolatry. Many people think that Christmas, Easter and even Halloween are fun for children. What you are doing is planting the seed of idolatry and watering it. You are training children, like pavlov's dogs to want presents and candy. They are taught to seek after these things. It seems innocent enough when they are five or six. But when they are fifteen or sixteen they are no longer satisfied with the same holiday and want to graduate to debauchery, lust, and drunkenness. By the time they are in college they want to progress to orgies, carousing, and detestable idolatry. If they hear the gospel they associate the lies about Christmas with the Bible. They trusted their parents who lied to them, so surely you can't trust the people in the church either. The parents planted the seeds of idol worship and watered those seeds with their lies. Fifteen years later you have a full grown tree of idol worship growing in this person.

I was reminded by Paul this morning:

Titus 3:1 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.

Being "subject to rulers" does not mean that if Obama tells you that you are sexist if you don't vote for Kamala that you have to vote for her. In that case Obama is the one who is slandering others and the one who is not subject to the authorities. The US constitution is the authority in the election and according to that authority you are to vote for the person you think is best, not the one who Obama thinks is best for him.

Be peaceable in this election. Stealing lawn signs is not something that is peaceable. Be considerate, attacking someone because they are supporting one political candidate is not considerate. Always be gentle towards everyone, let us all remember that in the next few weeks.

Titus 3:10 Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. 11 You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.

Race baiters are divisive people. MSNBC is divisive. People who tried to push the Jussie Smollett story are divisive. CNN pushing the Covington Catholic High School story are divisive people. Al Sharpton, Alton Maddox and Vernon Mason were all found guilty of this in the Tawana Brawley case.

The portrayal of the shooting of Jacob Blake by police as being racially motivated was an example of being divisive. Many in the NBA were involved in provoking that riot.

And now we see the same kind of race baiting with the complaints about fans of Caitlin Clark who was in the WNBA but now has left for Europe.

You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.

Rumors of War

The word translated as rumors in Matthew 24 is the same word G189:

Matthew 4:24 And his fame G189 went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Just as Jesus coming on the scene would cause His fame to go throughout the land as people talk about what they had seen and heard, in the same way we'll see this when the Antichrist begins to rise.

Matthew 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing G189 ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

People are listening to the news, to the pundits, to the talking heads desperately trying to understand what is going on but in the end they are simply more confused because they are going to those who have a vested interest in manipulating the populace to find the truth.

Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours G189 of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Jesus is warning us of how Satan operates. He is a liar, he is the father of lies, and he is adept at gaslighting. He will control the media and he will be using it to trouble people, to divide them, and to gaslight them.

Mark 7:35 And straightway his ears G189 were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

This man had Satan stopping up his ears. Let the Lord touch your ears, let the word from the Lord's mouth touch your tongue.

Luke 7:1 Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience G189 of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

Who are you listening to? Jesus knew at the end of the age it will be the TV age and everyone would become the audience for the TV and through that Satan would trouble you. Turn off the TV, and tune into the words of the Lord.

John 12:38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? G189 and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Do not listen to the report from liars and those who are divisive. CNN and MSNBC have been exposed repeatedly of being liars with the intent of being divisive. Stop listening to them, they are the ones troubling you.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, G189 and hearing G189 by the word of God.

The Lord ministers faith by speaking the words of faith and we are filled with faith by hearing these words. In the same way Satan ministers anxiety by speaking rumors of war and people are filled with anxiety by hearing rumors of war.

2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, G2360 neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

This word troubled is what the Lord warned us about in Matthew 24, the goal of the rumors of war is that we would be troubled, shaken in mind.

It is the same word as "a reed shaken by the wind" and the same word that "the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken".

Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake G4531 it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Our faith needs to be founded upon a rock, upon Jesus, upon the word of God, upon the revelation of Jesus Christ. The reason that God allows all this gaslighting is to see whose faith cannot be shaken and whose is shaken.

Acts 2:25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should G4531 ➔ not be moved: G4531

I was listening to someone talking about the Essene calendar and they described how human history was divided by Shemitahs, Jubilees, Onas and Ages. (7 years, 50 years, 500 years and 2,000 years).

This got me thinking -- a jubilee is 49+1 years. That is just like the 49 complete sabbaths plus one day for Shavuot.

Suppose that is the prophetic significance of Shavuot, it will be 40x49 + 1 years from the destruction of the temple (fulfillment of the sign of Jonah for the Jews) to Armageddon (fulfillment of the sign of Jonah for the nations).

1961+70= 2031

There is no doubt that the festival of Shavuot is prophetic for the rapture. But there is also no doubt that when God says "seedtime and harvest" will be the two constants He is referring to Jesus being put into the ground as a grain of wheat at the start of the church age at seedtime and the rapture is at harvest time.

Passover week would give us a pattern of the week that we'll see at the rapture and we see this pattern in 2024 from October 30th to November 4th.

Shavuot would give us the year of the rapture.

Pentecost and Moses breaking the ten commandments lets us know that the Levites get called up at the same time the apostasy is judged and this will happen not on a feast day of the Lord but on a Feast day of the religious leaders (Aaron made this feast day).

The Feast of Trumpets gives us a ten day warning before the day of judgment, that is when the watchmen begin blowing their horns. This would refer to Fall of 2021 when the world had a global shutdown due to the pandemic (a sabbath rest declared by God because the day of the Lord was at hand, a time to fast and pray) and they mandated an experimental vaccine illegally, which should have been when we were clear that the day of the Lord was at hand.

2031 will be the Day of Atonement.

October 31 is the day that Martin Luther nailed the 95 theses to the church door, the church age version of Moses breaking the ten commandments. This caused many believers to come out from the midst of the Catholic church.

October 31 is also a harvest festival marking the end of the summer and beginning of winter.

October 31 is also a pagan holiday. Samson pushed out the pillars during a great sacrifice to Dagon and Moses broke the ten commandments on a feast day to Molock. In both cases we are being told the rapture is on a pagan holiday, not a feast day of the Lord.

So I went to the Essene calendar on DSSCalendar.org and November 3rd, 2024 is the Lord's day, it would be the day of resurrection according to the pattern of Passover week, this is the 17th of Cheshvan according to the Essene calendar. That is the day that Noah enters the ark with the 7. I don't think that is. a reference to the rapture, rather I think that is a reference to Jesus going through the tribulation with the seven churches that are left behind after the rapture.

Isaiah 17

17:1 A prophecy against Damascus:
“See, Damascus will no longer be a city
but will become a heap of ruins.

Jesus said His second coming would be as the days of Noah. So we should look at "the days of Noah". He lived 600 years before the flood, so assuming the flood begins in seven years and that Noah entering the ark seven days before the flood indicates the tribulation saints entering the ark 7 years before Armageddon it would mean the flood begins in 2024 on Cheshvan 17. This is not a prophecy, it is simply a hypothesis that I wish to examine. A second major day for Noah was the day he got the vision that God was going to destroy the earth and to build an ark. We don't know the exact year but we do know that he was married and had three boys at this point. So then, if we look at a major event in the age of grace around that time that correlates with this it would be the Guttenberg Bible being published. The bible is when the church got the vision of what God was going to do and began to build the church as an ark to make it through the tribulation. We also know that Noah preached the gospel for 120 years prior to the flood. In 1904 and 1905, 120 years ago, we had the Welsh revival. In 1906 we had the Azusa street revival. Following that the Gideons began distributing Bibles in 1908 and have since distributed 2.6 billion bibles worldwide. In 1909 the Scofield reference Bible was published. The fundamentals were published from 1910-1915, the basis for fundamentalism. But another major day for Noah was the day that Methuselah died, the oldest living man. There was a prophecy that when he died the end would come and so Noah enters the ark immediately after Methuselah dies. I would argue in this hypothesis that this prophecy about Damascus becoming a ruinous heap, the oldest continually inhabited city in the world, is similar to the prophecy about Methuselah. Because of that I want to look at this chapter more closely.

Isaiah 17 part 2

2 The cities of Aroer will be deserted
and left to flocks, which will lie down,
with no one to make them afraid.

This is a city on the border with Ammon and Moab. These were the descendants of Lot. So this does remind us of the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah. In verse 1 we are reminded of the days of Noah and in verse 2 we are reminded of the days of Lot. When the tribulation begins (not to be confused with the 70th week which I think began October 2, 2024). At that time you will have tens of millions killed at once, like the days of Noah and you will have millions of Christians who will become refugees overnight like Lot and his two daughters.

3 The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim,
and royal power from Damascus;
the remnant of Aram will be
like the glory of the Israelites,”
declares the Lord Almighty.

I believe Ephraim refers to the US. In the Bible Ephraim was used as a reference to the northern kingdom of Israel. Today 49% of Jews live in Israel and 49% live in the US, so it is similar to the nation of Israel being divided into two kingdoms. Ephraim was the younger son of Joseph and the blessing to Joseph was the blessing to scientists. I believe Ephraim refers to the nation whose scientists are the best in the world and that would refer to the US after WW2, with Germany referring to Manasseh (Joseph's older son). So then we have the US being destroyed at the same time that Damascus is destroyed and the remnant of believers having a revival and being a glory to the Lord.

Isaiah 17 part 3

4 “In that day the glory of Jacob will fade;
the fat of his body will waste away.

In what day? In the day that Damascus becomes a ruinous heap indicating the start of the seven year tribulation, one of the "days of Noah". In the same day that the fortresses of Ephraim are destroyed, meaning the overthrow of the US, the Great Babylon, which will be destroyed in one hour. This will be the day of the Lord, it will be the period known as the seven year tribulation and during that day "the glory of Jacob will fade and the fat of his body will waste away". America is the fattest nation on earth and they are about to go through a very severe famine.

5 It will be as when reapers harvest the standing grain,
gathering the grain in their arms—
as when someone gleans heads of grain
in the Valley of Rephaim.
6 Yet some gleanings will remain,
as when an olive tree is beaten,
leaving two or three olives on the topmost branches,
four or five on the fruitful boughs,”
declares the Lord, the God of Israel.

The rapture is the harvest. After the general harvest there are gleanings, a few grains left in the field for the poor. The Lord is confirming that the rapture takes place when Damascus is destroyed and that in turn leads to the US being destroyed in one hour, no doubt from nukes, EMP's and Russia's poseidon torpedos. The Glory of Jacob would be cities like NYC, Washington DC and LA. That will be faded. Think of abandoned buildings boarded up with weeds growing in the streets that are empty and desolate.

7 In that day people will look to their Maker
and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.
8 They will not look to the altars,
the work of their hands,
and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles[a]
and the incense altars their fingers have made.

Jesus described this as the weeping and gnashing of teeth to those who were cast out into outer darkness. When people realize how stupid they have been they will repent, turn to the Lord, and get rid of all their stupid idols.

9 In that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth. And all will be desolation.

Russia's poseidon torpedos are nuclear and can create a tsunami 500 feet high. 65% of Americans live within five miles of the ocean. Our strong cities are on the ocean. NYC, Miami, Washington DC, LA, Houston, San Francisco, Seatle, etc. After this attack they will be abandoned because of the radiation.

10 You have forgotten God your Savior;
you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress.
Therefore, though you set out the finest plants
and plant imported vines,
11 though on the day you set them out, you make them grow,
and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud,
yet the harvest will be as nothing
in the day of disease and incurable pain.

Admit it, the US has forgotten God our Savior. They think they are the ones who have done everything. Very arrogant, very proud, about to see the great fall that takes place to the proud.

12 Woe to the many nations that rage—
they rage like the raging sea!
Woe to the peoples who roar—
they roar like the roaring of great waters!
13 Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters,
when he rebukes them they flee far away,
driven before the wind like chaff on the hills,
like tumbleweed before a gale.
14 In the evening, sudden terror!
Before the morning, they are gone!
This is the portion of those who loot us,
the lot of those who plunder us.

We have been filled with men who are planning on plundering us. It will be like Mad Max for a short while, a violent storm, and then the next day peace and quiet. The US will be severely punished, but it will be short lived and then the revival can begin. It will be a great revival of those that the Lord is harvesting and taking to the barn.

Isaiah 17 part 4

The previous three parts were a general overview of this chapter. However, the key point which must be discussed is why Ephraim refers to the US. If you think Ephraim refers to modern day Israel in the Mideast then you have a whole host of problems that are irreconcilable, at least as things stand now.

Genesis 48:5 “Now then, your two sons born to you in Egypt before I came to you here will be reckoned as mine; Ephraim and Manasseh will be mine, just as Reuben and Simeon are mine.

This is a crucial verse in understanding what the meaning of Ephraim and Manasseh is. Jacob had 12 sons, but two of them committed grievous sins. Reuben and Simeon were the chief sinners. Reuben slept with one of Jacob's wives. He represents politicians. Simeon was the chief culprit in killing all those men after one of them slept with his sister. Simeon represents the military. Joseph had been wronged by his brothers, but now he is going to get a double portion of the blessing from Jacob and it will be a defacto replacement of these other two sons. But the key point from this verse is we need to see Manasseh and Ephraim as being in a different category from the 12 patriarchs.

13 And Joseph took both of them, Ephraim on his right toward Israel’s left hand and Manasseh on his left toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them close to him. 14 But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim’s head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh’s head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.

So both Joseph's and Jacob's right hand was on Ephraim while the left hand of both was on Manasseh. Ephraim represents the nation on Earth that has received the right hand of blessing from both Jacob and Joseph. The nation that both politically and militarily has received the double blessing.

15 Then he blessed Joseph and said,

“May the God before whom my fathers
Abraham and Isaac walked faithfully,
the God who has been my shepherd
all my life to this day,
16 the Angel who has delivered me from all harm
—may he bless these boys.
May they be called by my name
and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac,
and may they increase greatly
on the earth.”

Let's start with Manasseh, the older boy. I liken him to Germany. That was the nation that had Martin Luther, and where the protestant reformation got traction, and where the Lutherans started from. Clearly God did bless and shepherd Germany. They were called Christians and so were called by God's name. They are the most dominant nation in Europe, they have increased greatly and they are both a military and political powerhouse in the world.

17 When Joseph saw his father placing his right hand on Ephraim’s head he was displeased; so he took hold of his father’s hand to move it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s head. 18 Joseph said to him, “No, my father, this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head.”

19 But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations.”

Who has become greater than Germany? Surely that can only refer to the US. Who can be seen as a "group of nations"? An empire is a group of nations like the British empire. An alliance like NATO is a group of nations. The US has become the political leader of a number of groups whether it be NATO or the G8 or whatever. Since WW2 nothing would succeed politically or militarily without the US blessing.

20 He blessed them that day and said,

“In your[c] name will Israel pronounce this blessing:
‘May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.’”
So he put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh.

We think of Germans as hating the Jews, but the reality is that Germany was the best nation for the Jews prior to WW2. They were successful businessmen, bankers, scientists, artists, etc. Much of the attack on the Jews was from envy and jealousy. I was in Taiwan in the 1990s and the feeling among the Chinese was "may God make us like the Americans". The Japanese also felt the same way. The Europeans were somewhat jealous, but for most of the world America was the country everyone wanted to be like. No one can deny that at that time this blessing that Ephraim got is the same blessing that America got.

But like Reuben our politicians are profligate and like Simeon our military has been very abusive in their "righting of wrongs".

Isaiah 17 part 5

I will now look at the blessing on Joseph, the father of Ephraim to demonstrate that this is the blessing on scientists that Germany and the US have received.

22 “Joseph is a fruitful vine,
a fruitful vine near a spring,
whose branches climb over a wall.[k]

It was a German scientist who made the most significant discovery in making fertilizer which has transformed agriculture. For many years the US was known as "the breadbasket of the world". This blessing is a very clear blessing that both Germany and especially the US have received and it is due to our scientists.

23 With bitterness archers attacked him;
they shot at him with hostility.

The Revolutionary war was a result of this hostility. People left Europe and came to America because of this hostility. The Mayflower compact was made by those who had fled this hostility.

24 But his bow remained steady,
his strong arms stayed[l] limber,
because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob,
because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,
25 because of your father’s God, who helps you,
because of the Almighty,[m] who blesses you
with blessings of the skies above,
blessings of the deep springs below,
blessings of the breast and womb.

The US was involved in a Revolutionary war with the Superpower of the day, then you had the war of 1812 where the British burned the Whitehouse and of course we had the Civil war. Through all this we remained steady. Lincoln was put under tremendous strain, but he remained steady. This was because of the Protestant ethic, it was because of the great spiritual leaders who shepherded this nation. There is no country on earth that can claim to be a Christian nation more than the US. Germany can make the claim, but not more than the US. We are blessed with the sky above. We have the supreme airforce, the supreme space force, and supreme airplane industry. We also have the greatest navy on earth, blessed with the deep springs below. No country has as many deep water ports as the US. No country has as many deep wells blessing us with petroleum products. We also have the greatest biotechnology and bioengineering in the world.

26 Your father’s blessings are greater
than the blessings of the ancient mountains,
than[n] the bounty of the age-old hills.
Let all these rest on the head of Joseph,
on the brow of the prince among[o] his brothers.

The ancient mountains had iron, they had silver, they had gold. But because of science we are able to make all kinds of new products, new alloys. As a result our swords and weapons of war are greater, our industry is greater, our technology is greater.

Yes, we can see all of these blessings in modern day Israel as well. But without a doubt we have seen them in the last hundred years in the US.

The picture in the OT of Israel being two nations: Judah and Ephraim is to my impression a miniature of what we see today with Israel and the US. Israel and the US represent 5% of the world's population and yet they are by far the most advanced nations setting the standard for the rest of the world.

49% of the world's Jews live in Israel and 49% live in the US.

If you knew a tidal wave was going to sweep over your home in a few minutes… what would you do? Would you ignore these warnings? Would you pray? Would you have to pray a prayer of repentance and forgiveness hoping you have enough time to pray it before it’s all over. So that now you can pray for those you love and know your prayers will be heard and answered? If so, then check yourself! No one is promised tomorrow unless God reveals to them the time of their passing. What if you received a warning like a tsunami was going to hit and you ignored it? What if God has been telling you something is about to happen and instead of heeding and praying you brushed it off as nonsense? When it happens and if you survived this great tragedy or happening that God was trying to war you was to come would you have to live with the knowledge that all this time you wasted acting like nothing was going to happen, you should have been using wisely as time spent in prayer with God. With Jesus Christ! Would you be asking God even though you were not definitely sure what was going to happen to spare the lives, the homes of those you love and even those you don’t know? People wake up!!! We should live each day not in fear but as if everything could change in the blink of an eye. Because…guess what!!! It will!!! What do you think is going to happen when Jesus returns? Will you be ready for that? We are supposed to be watching and waiting, looking for His coming with anticipation and great expectations as one deeply in love on their wedding day waiting for their groom to arrive. Are you? And even then he will surprise us by coming as a thief in the night but the difference is we would be constantly checking ourselves, praying and repenting to make sure our bridal garments are spotless white in Him, because any minute he will be arriving. This is how it is supposed to be!!! God calls us to pray, to pick up the cross of his son Jesus’ Christ DAILY and to follow him! Not when it’s convenient or when we feel like it. You must be constant in season and out. Why, you ask, am I even speaking of this? Because I care! I care about you! I care about each and every soul on this earth and I pray for all! We all can look around and see our world has changed and is still changing yet. And it’s not for the better. So pray. Pray for your lost! Pray for all the lost! Those of you not saved or are in a backslidden condition with one foot following Jesus Christ and the other chasing after the cares of the world…REPENT! Repent and come to Jesus Christ now for he is our only hope...our only peace...our only everything!! If! If! If! If He comes at this very moment are you ready to meet Him? “If” you have any hesitancy, then you are not ready. Get the maybe out of your “if” and make sure it’s “yes” and do it now. Who knows “if” this will be the moment of His return. Are you willing to gamble your eternal soul on an “if?”
