50 days
Let's discuss this concept of 50 complete steps to the Feast of Weeks. The way in which you count is very important.
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
Seven complete sabbaths from the resurrection of Jesus. We have seven churches. We need to see all seven, complete. The last of the seven is Laodicea, a church where the Laity rules. We are seeing this today, where churches are set up to please people. Do not say things that will send the crowds away. Don't talk about sin, don't talk about hell. Preach a prosperity gospel, preach once saved always saved, Do not talk about repentance, or sanctification. So this is the first thing we see to make this count, in other words this is a description of the church age.
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord.
Unto the Morrow, that to me sounds like unto the Millenial kingdom. God describes the creation as seven days, each a thousand years. The term "unto the Morrow" sounds like the day after the day of the Lord.
