Table of Contents of this blog

(I'll do the rest later, this is simply for the first 20 posts)

Post 1 -- The Lord’s Table -- rehearsal of the marriage feast and the coronation of Jesus, rehearsal of the Festival of Trumpets. What is the message of those who are raptured compared to the message of those who aren’t?

Post 2 -- Christ’s resurrection is the crux of our gospel, Jesus rose at the feast of firsfruits at the beginning of the age and the rapture is the harvest of the saints at the end of the age. The rapture is the testimony that Jesus has destroyed the power of death.

Post 3 -- They are trying to lead you astray. How do you discern if you are off the path that leads to life? There are many antichrists at the end of the age and in every case “they went out from us”. They pretend to be Christians but deny the Lord’s redemption by adding some other requirement other than simply to receive the blood of Christ.

Post 4 -- Marvel not that the world hates you. Our hope is not simply to “be raptured” but rather when the Lord appears we also appear “like Him”. At the end of the age the Lord is manifested again, but this time He is with His army, the redeemed, to destroy sin. To do this we must love in deed and in truth.

Post 5 -- How do we recognize the antichrist.

Post 6 -- Dealing with bullies at the end of the age.

Post 7 -- We are the salt and the light. An example of a person who has lost their saltiness.

Post 8 -- Without God speaking through you your religion is nothing but a pretense and a sham.

Post 9 -- The battle is on, the sleeping giant has risen, only the church can defeat this giant.

Post 10 -- Tell us how to fix the problems we have created.

Post 11 -- Absolute proof. How do we know who to believe, who to follow?

Post 12 -- At the end of the age we will have to deal with the Antichrist, we will have to deal with bullies. As long as we have the Lord Jesus as our captain we can do that. We may be deplorable, but we are not irredeemable. We are not "rejected silver". 1Samuel shows how we can deal with fools and bullies to bring in the kingdom.

Post 13 -- The Antichrist’s theme song, the siren song of tyrants.

Post 14 -- Common mistakes in choosing a king.

Post 15 -- what it takes to rule and reign

Post 16 -- The rapture is all about the glorious return of the king. Those who are raptured are those who have the faith to rule and reign with Jesus. So then be anxious in nothing but in everything by prayer and petition let your request be made known to God because He cares for you. In addition speak forth in praise and worship with songs and psalms being filled with the Spirit.

Post 17 -- You need to take a stand. You don’t become king simply because Samuel says you are king. That works for a few who have great faith in Samuel being a man of God. You become king by defeating the enemies of Israel. That is what everyone can see.

Post 18 -- When is the rapture? The Lord said that you need to be watch because if you are watching you would prevent the thief from breaking into the house and if you don't watch then the Lord's coming would be like a thief. Right now we see a thief trying to rob our house. Doing things that are unconstitutional, passing executive orders and bills that are heinous attack on anyone who is faithful to the Lord and walks according to the fellowship of the apostles. Now is the time for Christians to wake up and take a stand.

Post 19 -- In the book of 1Samuel we see that different people like Hannah and the Israelites need salvation from a bully and that at the same time God also needs something. Hannah needs a son to stop the incessant attacks but God also needs a son who will be His priest. The Israelites need a King to deliver them from their enemies but God needs a man to stand by faith and obey His word. The rapture is when God gets what He needs then we also will be delivered and get what we need.

Post 20 -- What is the derangement syndrome? The rebellion against the Lord is loud and clear. Likewise the hand of God against us is also loud and clear.

1Samuel 24 -- A Gotcha Moment -- David discovers the narrow way that few find.

There are a lot of different interpretations concerning this, let me give you two. According to rabbinical teaching the lesson here is you don’t ever do what David did in cutting off Saul's robe and at the end of his life when it said that David could not get any heat it was due to this. Before we comment know that this first teaching is to my mind in complete opposition to the second. The second teaching is that during that meeting when Samuel and Saul met concerning the Amalekite battle that Samuel told Saul that the person who cuts off his robe would replace him as king. I think this second teaching explains why Saul at the end of the chapters says that now he knows that David will be made king. There is some dispute about this as well. Some say that David was not conscience stricken about cutting the robe but only about the thoughts that they would harm Saul.

If cutting off the robe was so terrible that God judged him for it and he was conscience stricken over it then it doesn’t make sense that he would hold it up as proof that he was not guilty of wrongdoing. However, if this was a prophesy of Samuel’s being fulfilled then surely he would. So I find that "rabbinical" teaching to be questionable.

This response of David is the right attitude, let the Lord judge.

This is a really interesting point to this story. We are all familiar with tit for tat, and the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s. Apparently this is the way of the world. In all the surrounding tribes when one person became king he would wipe out the other person’s family. That explains why Saul would focus so much energy and attention on David, he truly was a very great threat to him and that was not paranoia. However, David took an altogether different path, a fork in the road, that until then was unknown. In that day all those kings claimed divine right to rule. However, only David said that God raised him up as king, it is up to God to remove him. That was certainly a very big part of this “secret mission” that David had been sent on. At this time there were two factions in Israel, those that supported Saul and those that supported David. Killing David was not going to unite the country, it wasn’t going to heal anything. But it was even more true that killing Saul wouldn’t unite the country or heal the country either. There has to be another way, and it was up to God. If you were superstitious you would judge that God had delivered Saul into your hand so that you could kill him. This is a very narrow way that David must walk, but it is the way to unite the country and heal it.

We can learn from this today. We may feel that Biden has stolen the election and is illegitimate. That may or may not be true. But we can embrace the words in the New Testament to pray for our leaders and to submit to them. Right now it is a very difficult time to be president and if God were to withdraw His hedge of protection from Biden he would not be able to stand. The economy could collapse, the Chinese could invade Taiwan, Iran could reignite a war in the Middle East, the border crisis could continue to multiply into a full grown flood of refugees, or there could be a new wave of the pandemic, or we could be hit with natural catastrophes of Biblical proportions.

One thing in particular we need to pray for is that the Lord would respond to those martyrs at the base of the altar who are crying out "how long" will the Lord not avenge their blood. Blood guiltiness is the biggest concern. Evidence is coming out concerning blood guiltiness of US administrations and CCP guiltiness as well. This is something we need to pray to the Lord to judge.

Proverbs 6 -- Section 230 protecting the Tech Giants

This chapter talks about what to do if you have become legally liable for the debt or failure of another. This is the very heart of the matter concerning the censorship of Big Tech of the President and conservative voices. First you have to realize there is no such thing as “no liability”. Every person and every company can cause harm by their actions, just as the censorship has caused harm. However, the US government gave these companies an exemption from liability so that unlike anyone else in this country they alone are exempt from the liability of their actions. So then who is liable, who pays the price for their actions when they harm others? We do, the people who are harmed are the ones who pay the price. This was idiotic. They told us it was very difficult to keep up with all the things being posted on their site so they should not be treated as a publisher but as a platform. But we exempted them from liability when they act as a publisher? They cannot be sued for censorship because they are a private company, but they cannot be sued for not censoring content because they are a public platform. It is a double standard. When the Shah of Iran talks about killing Americans or killing Israelis they can’t be sued for allowing that because they are a platform, but when they censor the president of the US they can’t be sued because they are a private company and free speech doesn't apply to them.

How does a deer deliver himself from the hand of the hunter? He runs away. How does the bird deliver himself from the hand of the fowler? He flies away. You can’t sleep on this, the minute you realize they are out to take away the right to speak, anyone’s right, you need to run away. This is known as “boycott”. You can’t continue to do business with companies that do this. Their goal is to eliminate all dissenting voices. Every day you continue to do business with them will be one more day that they will be closer to this goal. They will never be weaker than they are today, this is the moment to run away, fly away.

Wake up! It’s hard to leave Facebook and Twitter. Where am I going to go? There are other platforms (Rumble, Parler, Gab, etc), go there. But Parler was also shut down when Apple, Google and Amazon.com coordinated together like armed men to erase them. That’s right, it takes work, we’ll have to build our own platforms (like Gab did), we’ll need our own browser like Gab did (Dissenter), we’ll need to own our own servers like Gab did. We also need to act like ants. Yes these are “giants” and we are ants, but there are millions of us and only a couple of them. Even though we don’t have a guide, or an overseer, or a ruler we can all “deplatform” from these services and go elsewhere.

Froward means habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition. Ungovernable, obstinate. The Black Lives Matter movement has two components, you have those who are governable, they get permits, they are peaceable and follow the directions of the police. Then you have those who stay past the curfew, riot, they loot, they are disposed to insulting rhetoric, disobedience and are ungovernable. Ultimately you have no choice but to break these groups without remedy, suddenly.

We are watching these seven things that are an abomination to God today. The second impeachment is a prime example. A riot took place at the capital building on the very same day and roughly the same time that a rally was being held by Trump at the Whitehouse. John Sullivan was arrested as one of the organizers and instigators of this riot. They have posts he made beginning on January 1. We also have numerous videos that he has made over the last few months including a video he took during this riot at the capital. However he was disguising himself and telling others to also disguise themselves as Trump supporters. His goal was to sow discord so that those attending the Trump rally would be blamed for these actions. He appeared on mainstream news outlets as a false witness speaking lies. Pretending to be a Trump supporter. When it was revealed that he was a BLM supporter he then lied saying that his goal was to be open minded and see what the other side was doing. However that also was revealed to be a lie when his posts, his chats, and his videotape were revealed and exposed. But even worse, the Congress had feet that were swift in running to mischief. Based on news stories and headlines rather than evidence and discovery they voted to impeach the President for instigating the riot with his speech. That was a wicked imagination. Evidence has come out that the riot was planned for at least five days prior to the event, that the items required for the riot were brought to the capitol building at 12:40, five minutes before President Trump even began speaking. They began to breach the capital at 12:55, 20-30 minutes before Trump finished speaking. It is a 20 minute walk from the Whitehouse to the Capitol building so there is no possibility that anyone who breached the capital had heard one word of the speech. But the wicked imaginations are even worse, they are claiming that the use of the word “fight” is provoking violence, that a senator with a fist up raised was provoking violence, that the use of the word “Patriot” is hate speech, etc. Some of this people at this riot were evil, they slew innocent people. One man hit a policeman with a fire extinguisher and this policeman later died. This was blamed on Trump supporters but since then the evidence came out that the policeman was not killed by anyone at the rally. They are charging two people with assault but not with aggravated assault meaning even if they are found guilty they will not be found guilty of having anything to do with his death. The riot itself resulted in four deaths but none from the hands of Trump supporters. Three were health emergencies and a fourth was shot dead by Capital police. We have seen Antifa thugs attack the elderly and women and children on the streets after previous Trump rallies. We saw one shoot someone in cold blood because they wore a hat supporting Trump. Others stabbed and cold cocked people in the street that were part of these rallies. To make things worse is the lying tongue of the mainstream media. Calling the BLM protests “mostly peaceful” when they were in fact riots. Saying that you shouldn’t blame the rioters but rather the system injustices that led them to riot. CNNs Chris Cuomo asked “where does it say that a protest is supposed to be peaceful?” (The US constitution, that is where). Later he said this was taken out of context and meant that you don’t just have to come and sing hymns. So when Trump tells the rally that they are going to go over to the capitol building to protest peacefully they claim that is “coded speech”. But when Chris Cuomo says protests don’t need to be peaceful that is also coded speech meaning they don’t have to sing hymns? God hates these lying tongues. How could they have the gall to do this? Simple, they are proud. They believe that all dissenting voices will be silenced. All evidence to the contrary will be suppressed. Anyone who tries to object will be censored.

These are dark days. The word of God is a light to our way, it is a guide, it will lead us. Make sure you are tied to the word, you don’t stray far from the word. What has happened? How did the world become so crazy? It is like someone who commits adultery with a whorish woman. They think it is a little thing, something that no one will know about. What they don’t realize is that it will snare and trap them. They will become captives chained by this action. One by one our political leaders and judges have become ensnared. Maybe it was money as with Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and James Biden. Maybe it was adultery as with Swalwell. But one way or another they got snared. If their crimes come to light they lose everything and maybe even go to jail. So they do horrible, despicable things and appear to be pathetic beggars without a conscience. When they cut a deal with the CCP they took fire into their bosom and they will get burned. One very hateful woman who was a representative of the city of Detroit made vile and horrible attacks towards witnesses of the fraud, doxing them and threatening their lives. She was dismissed from all her committee assignments. Her response was that “Joe Biden owes her”. When you take these people who committed election fraud into your bosom you will be burned.

Proverbs 6 -- Section 230 and election fraud continued

What is election fraud? You are robbing the American public of their constitutional right, you are robbing them of democratic rule. This is like committing adultery. The people who perpetrated this fraud will not be innocent. Some of those involved were small potatoes, they were not involved with stealing “the election” only with doing one very small portion of that. Why? They needed the money. No one despises someone who in the midst of this pandemic did something they knew was wrong to feed their family. They need to come forward, confess, fill out an affidavit and do the right thing.

But those who organized this steal, those who paid for it, those who were the head honchos planning on stealing the election. They will be destroyed. When we learn of Facebook, Twitter and Google stealing the election it will destroy their companies. These are multinational corporations. No other country wants what happened in the US to happen to them. They were asleep, they let these giants come in and take over their communications network, but now they have to wake up and diligently do something about it. These companies will be permanently dishonored and shamed. Their reproach will not be wiped away, never again will people trust them. Boycott these companies. Boycott their subsidiaries. Boycott companies that advertise on their platforms. Boycott any investment fund managers that invest in their stock.

Psalm 10 -- Prayer of the Deplorables

1 Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble? 2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. 3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth. 4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. 5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. 6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. 7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. 8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. 9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. 10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. 11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. 12 Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. 13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it. 14 Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless. 15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none. 16 The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. 17 Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: 18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

Lord Jesus, we pray that you would stop hiding yourself! We pray that you would come forth in your glory. They have designed traps to persecute the poor. Lord you hear the needy and we need you to deliver. They boast in their hearts that they have the best voter fraud departments in history. They bought a system that was designed to bless the covetous, the very ones that you abhor. God, they have calculated that they will win because they have not considered you. You are not part of their calculation. They slink around in the dark. They puff at all their enemies as though we would be blown away at the power of their words. Look at the pride and arrogance in their hearts. Their mouths are full of cursing, deceit and fraud. They curse and slander witnesses, they claim that the video of voter fraud is “fake news” because the boxes with wheels on them were described as “suitcases” and they say they were boxes. They censor people maliciously. These actions are vanity, it only causes people to post more stories and to ignore them even more. They lurk in secret places to kill the innocent. Cancel culture is one example. They delete posts, make spurious claims about what was said, but since the post is deleted no one can verify their claims. They draw the poor into their net. They mailed out ballots to every person and then voted and submitted ballots for the poor. They figure they won’t find out and if they do they won’t have the assets to do anything about it. Their words sound wonderful but their actions are death. Lord Jesus, they say you have forgotten? They say you will hide your face? They say you will never see their deceit? Arise O Lord, our God, lift up your hand, forget not the deplorables. Lord they have despised and spurned you saying you will never hold them to account! Lord Jesus, judgement began with the house of God. We have been under your hand for our entire lives, when will you judge them as you have judged us? You see what they are doing, you see the mischief, the spite, so we pray you would hold them to account. Our prayer is that you would break the arm of the wicked man and seek out all the evil till there is no more to find. Jesus is King, let them see and never forget. Hear the prayers of the deplorables. Judge the fatherless and oppressed, the deplorables, the irredeemables, the chumps that these wicked people may no more oppress.

1 Peter 3:1-20 Noah's preaching is an example of "the sprinkling of the blood"

In like manner here refers to Jesus crucifixion, leaving an example for that we should follow. It is a fantastic revelation into the mind of Peter. Salvation includes the obedience. He gives the example of wives obeying their husbands as an example of following the Lord’s example in crucifixion. Sin came in with disobedience in Genesis 3, therefore salvation includes obedience. Eve looked at the tree, thought it was good, was desirable, would enhance their life, and so rejected God’s command based on her own opinion. Our experience since then has been a lesson on where a choice like that can lead. Salvation includes having the appreciation and faith to obey God’s commands, even if they lead to the cross. Secondly, this reveals Peter’s heart. His biggest failure was at the cross of Christ. You can see from this word that in his heart he knows he will get a second chance and that his desire is to be sanctified to the point he would obey when the cross appears again. This reminds us of chapter 1 verse 2. We are going through a process of sanctification that will result in our obedience by faith. This in turn will result in our obeying the Lord to take up our cross and follow Him, which is “the sprinkling of the blood”. This is how the New Covenant is presented to the unbelievers and the new believers.

Once again we have the tendency to read “if any obey not the word” as being an unbeliever. However, regardless of whether your husband is a believer or not, if the wife disagrees with what he is doing she will claim that he is disobedient to some word. This is why there are so many interpretations of the Bible. Each interpretation justifies what someone wants to believe. If you were in counseling you can be sure the wife is claiming that the man is “disobedient” to God’s word. So the point is, even if that is so, this is a strategy that can gain this husband. For example, consider the recent protests about taking a knee during the national anthem. The complaints may be valid, but this is not an effective strategy for winning the wayward husband. Rather they will simply boycott the NFL and claim the hypocrisy in a millionaire who works and lives in this country while holding it in disrespect. The people taking a knee are not winning over any that “obey not the word”.

Physical beauty of women is transitory, like the flowers of the field which Peter referred to in chapter 1. However, Sarah’s submission to her husband Abraham, even when she was in her nineties, is still beautiful today. That is a beauty that doesn’t fade. In the Song of Songs Solomon describes the most beautiful woman — “her hair is like a flock of goats from Mt. Gilead”. Now this is strange, even in the day of the Egyptians “silky hair” was prized. Today all the ads for shampoo describe making it “silky”. Yet this woman’s hair is “goat hair”. Mt. Gilead refers to the place Israel and Laban negotiated for authority over Laban’s daughters. Those two men were goats. To be submissive to a wonderful gentleman, knight in shining armor, is simple. No glory or praise in that. But to be obedient to a husband that is a goat, that is a special beauty.

Although Peter refers to the wives as “weaker vessels” he also says they are “joint-heirs” of the grace of life. This makes us equal in God’s kingdom. I think that Peter and Paul have been misread. They are actually laying out a vision of a society of men and women being “equal” while also being different. The recent snafu over Senator Franken’s photo with a woman as they were flying in combat is a perfect example. The picture is seen as insulting, demeaning, and some have called for him to resign from the Senate over it. At the very least there will be an ethics hearing on this. However, women want to be “equal” and that includes being in the army and going to combat. A picture like that among Marines is commonplace and any man making a stink over it being insulting, etc. would be ridiculed beyond end. So this is the perfect example that women can be equal while also being treated differently.

Once again, I think that 1:2 gives the outline for this book. After obedience this is unto the sprinkling of the blood. One aspect of the shrinking of the blood is that we should inherit a blessing (this is how Moses enacted the Old Covenant and it is how Jesus mediated the New Covenant). “Unto the sprinkling of the blood” indicates that we become a peculiar priesthood. No evil or guile in our tongue. We have turned away from evil to do good. We seek peace and pursue it.

As priests we need to be righteous (based on the Lord’s righteousness) and we need the Lord to hear our supplication. What we loose on earth is loosed in heaven, what we bind on earth is bound in heaven. Once again Peter reveals his hope to be able to follow the Lord in crucifixion, being obedient. Yet here it is in relation to the “sprinkling of the blood”. This includes putting to shame those who speak evil of the way. The sprinkling of the blood is a type of the preaching of the gospel. Peter has preached the gospel to thousands. He has opened the kingdom to Jews and Gentiles alike. Yet here he talks about not just preaching the gospel to those but also to the spirits that are kept in prison awaiting the judgement at the Great White Throne. Everything in the Temple needed to be sprinkled with the blood of the covenant by the priests, even those spirits who are in prison.

What a great point. Many complain “if there is a God why does he allow this evil”. The answer is simple, He is working together with men of faith to build the church. The church is like an ark that can carry civilization through a flood. Once the church is prepared, then He can deal with the sinners, just as He did with Noah’s flood. Noah and the souls saved with him are an example of the first rapture.

It should also be noted that we now have quite a bit of evidence concerning the flood. First, archaelogists discovered amazingly similar stories in a variety of cultures spread over the entire earth. As a result they felt this could not be a myth but rather based in fact. Even so it was hard to believe “40 days and night of rain” and “the flood went over the highest mountains”. We did discover that the Black Sea was flooded after the end of the last ice age and a society was living in the basin. That was very interesting because it was in the region where Noah could have lived and gave a scenario where his boat would not be flipped over. Then last year they discovered structures from a huge tsunami on Madagascar and traced it to impact craters from Meteorites at the bottom of the Pacific ocean. When these meteorites hit the ocean they would have caused huge amounts of water to be vaporized and rise up into the Stratosphere and cover the earth. So in addition to the tsunami they could have caused the 40 days and nights of rain. Then in addition to this we have discovered massive floods, the biggest in human history, that took place at the end of the ice age when ice dams in the mountains broke releasing massive floods. The biggest one is in India when a dam broke in the Himalayas. But there is another one in North America as well. I say ice dams because that is the prevailing theory and yet we are now seeing glaciated highlands as they retreat due to the warming and there are no dams forming. Instead if the water vaporized when the meteorites his the ocean came down in forty days and nights of rain it could have caused tremendous melting in the glaciated highlands and flash floods. Finally, all of the large herbivorous animals that might have been domesticated went extinct on all the continents at the same time. We now have 18 of these large species and all except Llamas are from the region where Noah was. These animals have been critical in the ascension and dominance of this one culture across the earth. So, Noah saving these animals alive could have been a major development in human society that has shaped us to this day.

1Samuel 25 -- Defund the police and Abigail is raptured

David’s men acted as security for Nabal’s business and his employees. To not pay them for keeping you safe is what the entire "defund the police" movement is all about.

Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord. In the last chapter we learned that if God anointed someone and they are serving the Lord then the Lord will judge his own servants, it is not for us to do that. You can bring your complaint to the Lord and if there are two or three witnesses then that complaint can be heard by a court on earth. But this situation is quite different, Nabal has defrauded David. He thinks he can treat David as a chump. This reminds me of Trump saying NATO wasn’t paying their full share and was going to pull out of the alliance. That must have terrified the rest of the NATO countries and they quickly paid up. The hypocrisy of these city and state leaders has been on full display. They call the riots “mostly peaceful” and support defunding the police. But then when the slightest incident happens they are calling for police. One woman called the police because a Uber driver refused to drive her somewhere and dropped her off at the gas station. During the day she is calling for the police to be defunded and then at night she wants the police to ride in and arrest a Uber driver who is not going to give her a ride. Democrats for four years argued that walls don’t work, first thing they do when they get into power is stop the construction of the border wall and yet they surround the capitol with barbed wire and 25,000 troops at a cost of over $500 million.

So what are we seeing happen in California, Oregon, Washington, and other places. The people have risen up to throw their foolish representatives out of office. We see recall efforts, censure, requests for resignation, lawsuits, and thousands of people becoming actively involved in politics to “hurl them away as from the pocket of a sling”.

David was really impressed with Abigail. Not many people can speak such a clear and concise word to turn the heart of the king.

36 When Abigail went to Nabal, he was in the house holding a banquet like that of a king. He was in high spirits and very drunk. So she told him nothing at all until daybreak. 37 Then in the morning, when Nabal was sober, his wife told him all these things, and his heart failed him and he became like a stone. 38 About ten days later, the Lord struck Nabal and he died.

Weird death, surely not a heart attack, wouldn’t have taken ten days, maybe a stroke, who knows. It reminds me of the video of Gavin Newsom eating at the French Laundry. It reminds me of Reagan’s son who is an atheist saying he is not afraid of hell juxtaposed on the fires we see in California. It reminds me of the impeachment trial where all these different ones were pontificating about how offended they were that Trump would say “fight like hell” only to then see videos of them all saying the exact same thing and even worse things. It reminds me of them calling for witnesses in the trial only to see that the first witness the Trump team was going to call was Nancy Pelosi. At that point in the trial it seemed the only thing that had any traction at all was “negligence” on the part of Trump to respond to the riot. The problem with that argument is that Pelosi is responsible for the security of the Capitol building, not Trump. Pelosi had been informed of the pipe bombs prior to the riot yet had done nothing. Pelosi had refused national guard troops offered by Trump. Pelosi was aware of FBI intelligence that said people were planning an attack on the capitol building. If they went down this road it would become very obvious to all of America that Pelosi was negligent in her duties.

Without a doubt they have treated Trump and the 75 million who voted for him with contempt. However, it is up to God to bring their wrongdoing down on their own heads.

This Is a type of the rapture. David is a type of Jesus, Abigail is his bride. She was awake and had prevented the Lord from coming as a thief. David has three wives. It appears that the three gospels speak of those who will be raptured at the beginning of the tribulation, those raptured in the middle and those who are raptured at the end. The first shall be last, Michal was first but now she will become last. Abigail was last, but now I suspect she will become first.

Psalm 12 "I will set him in safety" from the cancel culture

1 Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

Let us go back several hundred years to the religious system in the South that justified racial slavery. They rationalized a hierarchy in society based on race. Then right up to the civil rights era this was justified with bogus science and claims of genetic superiority. Where were the faithful men of God, speaking God’s word when the Bible was twisted to make these arguments? How is this any different from this "Critical Race" theory.

In this context of historical racism and systematic racism in the US which we have worked to eliminate since the 1960s we now have these vain speakings. The “woke” left, also known as the cancel culture. It is a badge of honor to be considered “woke” and they fight with each other for this badge. When Jacob Blake was shot seven times in the back by the police in Kenosha the entire Milwaukee team decided to boycott a playoff game causing all the NBA teams to boycott lest they not be seen as “woke”. But they speak with a double heart. The NBA panders to China where you have the most abhorrent systemic racism today. In contrast Jacob Blake had a warrant for his arrest, was violating a court order to stay away from a girl friend that had accused him of rape, was resisting arrest, and was trying to either get a knife or drive away with her three kids. This is the cancel culture and it is the Lord’s judgement. They comb through posts and tweets and old clips. Anyone who has said anything in the past they don’t like they mobilize to “cancel” this person. Usually besiege their place of work for them to get fired and to boycott anything to do with that person.

5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

This is a prophecy. When we see this mob-like behavior both from the NBA speaking vanity with flattering words and double hearts, and also with the cancel culture behaving like a mob with torches and pitchforks then the Lord will arise. “I will set him in safety” is considered a reference to the rapture.

If you want to stand for righteousness, and I suspect many in the NBA and many in the cancel culture do, then you need the words of the Lord. Otherwise you will be judged with the words with which you judge others and you will see yourself as the very thing you hate and condemn.

7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. 8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

Once again, let’s go back to our history because hindsight is 20/20. During the Antebellum South the vilest men were exalted and the wicked walked on every side. They built their ideologies and hierarchies not on the words of the Lord but on an evil construct. The same thing happened in the Russian revolution and in China in the cultural revolution. The Czar reaped what he had sowed, and the Chinese elite also reaped what they had sown. Books like “White Fragility” use the same logic as the Cultural Revolution where the elites need to be reprogrammed. What do you think happens in the US and the rest of the Earth when the Lord raptures those that have trusted in Him? You will be left with the hypocrites and their vain, flattering words and those with the proud arrogant lips of a mob with torches and pitchforks.

Proverbs 7 -- “Her house is the way to hell”

Let’s explain what is going on here. We have clear and convincing proof of fraud in our election yet most of the legislators did nothing, most of the governors did nothing, same with the judges, the election officials and everyone else. The Media continually claims that saying otherwise is spreading disinformation, it is untrue and talks about reeducation camps and all kinds of threats. We have been praying, we have been doing everything lawfully and according to the Lord’s word. Why doesn’t He answer our prayer? Well this is so bad there is no remedy, there is no judge, or elected official that is going to come to the rescue. No, what is going to happen is everyone must make a choice, one side or the other. One side has all the political power, all the financial power, and the majority of the people. The other side has light and truth and the Spirit of the Holy God. Right now you have to choose a side, don’t make a mistake because your life for all eternity depends on you doing one thing: keeping the Lord’s words and laying up His commandments with you. You know, the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.

You need to keep the Lord's word when it is easy because when it is hard to do it then it will be twice as difficult. When you really need understanding and wisdom they can’t be strangers, they have to be those you have been closest to for years. Notice how wisdom and understanding are women, sisters and kinswomen. Women are much better at discerning a strange woman than a man is. Women are always paying attention to everyone in the neighborhood, who they are, what they do. They take notice of women who dress like harlots. They know who doesn’t abide in the house, who is loud and stubborn. This strange woman sounds like a drug dealer.

13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, 14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows. 15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. 16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. 17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. 18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. 19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: 20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

This may be the story of many an adulterer, surely the story in Sodom and Gomorrah, but what I am interested in is this is also a story about Jesus. Jesus has gone on a long journey to a far country. When the Lord returns He will reward each one according to what they have done. Jesus will come home at the day appointed. Some Christians will heed the charge in this chapter, they will keep His words, they will keep His commandment. But there are simple ones that will be snared by Satan. They will be lured to their destruction. She forced him? What is she a Russian weightlifter? Please don’t let that be your defense at the judgement seat “she forced me”.

Isn’t it amazing that a person weighing 200 lbs could lead a whole herd of cows, cows that could crush him if they stampeded, into the slaughter house and right up to the point we kill them. I think many of those who would not do the right thing this last month were snared by this woman.

When I look at the blatant in your face lies that are being told, the obstinate, loud, rude lies. They are impeaching the President for inciting a riot because he said “let’s walk over to the capitol together and peacefully protest”. Yet we can hear them saying “I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country” (Nancy Pelosi). “People need to start taking to the streets this is a dictator” (Guy Gadbois). “There should be unrest in the streets as long as their is unrest in our lives” (an elected official -- Democrat), “Show me where it says that protestors are supposed to be polite and peaceful” (CNN’s Chris Cuomo), “Do something about your Dad’s immigration practices you feckless C*@!” (profane comedian addressing her remarks to Ivanka Trump), “biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right” (Don Lemon), “I’d like to punch him in the face” (some Hollywood actor), “I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him” (Joe Biden concerning President Trump), “Punch some people in the face” (some actor or singer receiving an award), “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president” (Johnny Depp). Then there were people talking about putting a bullet in the President and doing various skits where President Trump is assassinated. One asked “where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?” another held up a severed head meant to depict Donald Trump. Are you that simple that you can’t tell which of these two groups is the way to hell and going down to the chambers of death? Wake up!

What does the Bible say about the festival of Hanukkah.

I just did a quick review of the entire book of 2 Corinthians. Chapter 1 shows that the New Testament ministry is an answer to the Lord’s prayer: “thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. Chapter 2 lays out the basic principle that obedience to the Lord will always result in victory. Chapter 3 we learn that the goal of this ministry is that we would all be the Lord’s letter of commendation with the word of God engraved on our hearts. Chapter 4 talks of us being transformed into a weapon of warfare as a result of our renouncing evil. I liken this to tempered steel. Chapter 5 sums up the ministry in a single word, reconciliation. We have the ministry that reconciles man to God, God to man, and man to man. Then in chapter 6 the battle begins and Paul compares this to the festival of dedication known as Hanukkah. “Come out from them and be separate”. Hanukkah is a celebration of light and there are eight days to this celebration. The last eight chapters of 2Corinthians beginning with chapter 6 give us this light. In chapter six we see the fair exchange. You exchange your life of service for an eternal salvation. But the key point in the rebellion of the Maccabees was to “come out from them and be separate”. Chapter seven we learn that we must heed our spirit and not walk by sight. In chapter eight we see the privilege of participating in God’s move. Satan would threaten us, but all he can do is to cast us out. If we have already come out and become separate there is nothing he can do to you. In chapter nine we get the historical viewpoint, the bird’s eye view of what is going on and realize “we don’t want to be on the wrong side of history”. In chapter ten we learn what it is to “weaponize free speech”. The enemy will insult and slander because he has no case. It turns out that the fact checkers working to censor material on Youtube are connected to Mainland China and financed at least in part by China. We cannot be ignorant of Satan’s devices if we are going to stand up for the Lord and bring in the Kingdom. But once you see through that device you can then see the counterfeit apostles, the pseudo apostles, and learn how to discern. Again, it all stands upon the word to “come out from them and be separate”. You can’t compromise your stand. Then in chapter twelve we see the Lord’s second coming and we see that there are three categories of saints. There are those who were able to receive the light in the previous chapters, they are raptured first to the third heavens. Then there are those who were stumbled by the counterfeit apostles and the weaponized speech. They will need to take a repeater class for a few years. Finally the Lord comes a third time where we will all appear before the judgement for the things we have done.

The age of grace, the age of the New Testament ministry, is likened to the warfare the Maccabees had to “come out from them and be separate” and is prophetic.

Hanukkah in the Gospel of John

John 10:22 At that time the [g]Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem.

This is the feast of Hanukkah.

23 It was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple [area] in [h]Solomon’s portico. 24 So the Jews surrounded Him and began saying to Him, “How long are You going to keep us in suspense? If You are [really] the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), tell us so plainly and openly.”

The Lord is walking on earth in His disciples. He is hidden, He is invisible to them, but at the rapture and the Lord’s second coming they will see Him plainly and openly.

25 Jesus answered them, “I have told you so, yet you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name testify concerning Me [they are My credentials and the evidence declaring who I am].

The works that the Lord does is not referring to hospitals and soup kitchens. It is referring to people who have been transformed. Paul said that the work of the ministry is to inscribe the word of God on our hearts so that we would be letters of commendation of the Lord. The Lord’s people that He has transformed, they are His credentials, His letter of commendation.

26 But you do not believe Me [so you do not trust and follow Me] because you are not My sheep. 27 The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand.

Very interesting, the word for rapture is translated here as snatch. The idea is that we are snatched up similar to someone being snatched out of the way of a speeding car. But this reference is of “no one” being able to snatch the Lord’s believers out of His hand. This reference to the rapture is of an attempt to first snatch them out. This is similar to the Lord’s word to watch and make sure the house is not broken into by a thief. The Lord’s hand is part of the Body of Christ, His hand will prevent anyone from breaking into His house to snatch (steal) his believers.

29 [i]My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

The church expresses Christ and Christ expresses the Father.

30 I and the Father are One[in essence and nature].”

All of this is in the context of the feast of Hanukkah. That feast commemorates them standing up to Antiochus who wanted to “snatch them out of the Lord’s hand”. A priest and his sons said no, they fought, and against all odds they won. It was an attempt to cancel their culture and replace it with the greek culture. We are seeing this very same attempt take place today. The word of God is under attack and we are those standing for God’s word.

Hanukkah in the Gospel of Luke

Luke 9:28 Now about eight days after these teachings, He took along Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

The transfiguration on the mount is thought to be pointing to the rapture. In the three gospels they disagree on this point in describing when this takes place. That is a key reason we think that the three gospels are written to the three different groups of people who will be raptured and in each case the time of the rapture will be different. Luke is referring to the first rapture and it takes place about eight days after these teachings. Hanukkah is an eight day festival so that is a subtle hint that this might be referring to Hanukkah. If you consider “these teachings” refers to the New Testament ministry and that after that we will have the rapture then that is another hint that we are talking about Hanukkah. This is because when you look at 2 Corinthians, the book on the New Testament ministry, we learn that Paul likens the New Testament ministry to the festival of dedication.
So what exactly does the word “eight” mean in the Bible? In Hebrew the letter for eight represents light or new light or new life. It depicts the characters for man and woman yoked or joined together. The character for man is also the number six while the character for the woman is basically the character for man with a crown on her head and is the character for seven. When these two come together you get new life or new light. The character is a picture of a doorway (no door just the doorway) into new life or new living. The words for life and living are both started by this letter. It also signifies the family because when these two come together they don't just create new life they also create the family. Also, if you take the two parts of this letter, the one for six and the one for seven and add them together (instead of joining them into one character) you get the number thirteen and the word for love. The top part of this character which brings the six and seven together, which yokes them together, signifies God. It is God that joins these two together. God is the covering. This is why in a Jewish wedding they stand under a tent to signify that God is the covering. So this number eight shows a new beginning.

The celebration of Hanukkah is an eight day celebration. It celebrates new life and is a "rededication" ceremony. It would be like the marriage renewal ceremony for some and a dedication or marriage ceremony for others. The context of this festival is that many stood up for the Lord to be cleansed of idols and corruption and overcame by faith in the Lord and that the Lord came in to hear their prayers, help and deliver them. Paul likens the New Testament ministry to the battle that the Maccabean's fought for three years prior to this victory. So "about eight days after these teachings" would refer to the beginning of the last day of the festival of Hanukkah at the end of the age of grace. It would signify God joining Christ and the church for the wedding, entering into a new beginning, a new age, and bringing new light. This all points to the rapture.

These are clues but not proof. We need more to go on because baby boys are also circumcised on the eighth day. There are other uses for the word eight besides Hanukkah.

Signs of the Times

Amos 8:9-10

9 “In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight. 10 I will turn your religious festivals into mourning and all your singing into weeping. I will make all of you wear sackcloth and shave your heads. I will make that time like mourning for an only son and the end of it like a bitter day.

This day is during a solar eclipse and we also see that it is during a religious festival. The festival begins with singing and ends with weeping. Over the next eight years we will have eight total solar eclipses, so they occur about once a year. However, this year we have a total solar eclipse in the middle of the Hanukkah celebration. Hanukkah begins on december 11th (actually the evening of december 10th) and goes for eight days till december 18th. However, “about eight days would be around sunset on the 17th. The total solar eclipse this year is december 14th, in the middle of this religious festival. On december 14th Biden is supposed to get the electors from the electoral college that makes him president. The Lord says that their religious festival (Hanukkah) will begin (December 11th) with singing and then in the middle of it (ie the 14th) the sun will be darkened and the end will be a bitter day like mourning for an only son (December 17th).

Joel 2:10 The earth quaketh before them; the heavens tremble; the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. 11 And Jehovah uttereth his voice before his army; for his camp is very great; for he is strong that executeth his word; for the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

This also refers to the day of the Lord taking place during a solar eclipse. But we learn a couple of different things about this solar eclipse. First, the context of Joel is that there is a worldwide pandemic that signals the “day of the Lord is at hand”. We don’t have worldwide pandemics very often and when you look at the other prophecies this makes this particular date really look interesting. But we learn something else, the Lord “utters his voice before his army”. We will see the army of the Lord marching at the Lord’s command. Based on the verses in John about Hanukkah we could say that the enemy is trying to snatch the Lord’s sheep out of His hand and His army has stood up to prevent the house from being broken into. Now this solar eclipse just happens to take place on the same day when the electoral college will be selected, and there just happens to be very large rallys of God’s people to “Stop the Steal”. On December 12th there will be a “stop the steal” rally in Washington DC, a month ago there was the first one and it had several hundred thousand people, but this one is called “the big one” and with all the information coming out about election fraud I think you can expect it to be much bigger.

So we have two prophecies that say a solar eclipse in the middle of a religious festival and in the middle of a pandemic will signal the start of the Day of the Lord. But it is a leap to then tie the “deplorables”, these people who are at these rallies to “stop the steal” of the US election to the rapture.

Luke 12:39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

The “stop the steal” rallies are all about not allowing our house to be broken into. This prophecy says that it is our job as believers to wake up and make sure we don’t allow our house to be broken into. So there is certainly an interesting connection.

Ezekiel 32:7 When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light. 8 All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you; I will bring darkness over your land, declares the Sovereign Lord. 9 I will trouble the hearts of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, among[a] lands you have not known.

This is a third prophecy that says the Day of the Lord will begin with a solar eclipse. But we learn a little more about this solar eclipse, it is “among lands you have not known”. The eclipse actually shines over Chile, a land that Israel did not know at the time of Ezekiel and the battle over this new world order is taking place in the US a nation that did not exist at the time of Ezekiel.

So then, in conclusion, we know that the day of the Lord will come at the time of a solar eclipse. We know that this solar eclipse will take place in the middle of a religious festival, and that it will take place in a land that Israel didn’t know and a nation that they didn’t know. We also know that it will be preceded by a worldwide pandemic. The Hebrew word for eight clearly points to the rapture. Luke says that it was “after these teachings” about the eighth day that Jesus went up the mount of transfiguration pointing to the rapture. The gospel of John has a direct reference to the festival of Hanukkah where Jesus also refers to the rapture. 2 Corinthians compares the New Testament ministry to the festival of dedication with the rapture taking place at the end. Hanukkah is an eight day festival, there is no other eight day festival in the Bible. Boys get circumcised on the eighth day but that could be any day and would not necessarily refer to a religious festival.

Exodus 7 -- The Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord

1 And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

The actions are powerful, like God. We see two witnesses here, a powerful testimony to the powers that be.

2 Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.

Quite simple really, just relay what God commands to Pharoah.

3 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

A wonderful promise that reveals an awesome God.

4 But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

Many saints are bothered that no one listens to their testimony. But this is essential. When they don’t listen to Moses it opens the door for God to lay His hand on Egypt.

5 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

It opens the door for the gospel. It exposes the world leaders as a fraud. It is a "great awakening".

6 And Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, so did they. 7 And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.

Their life was over. According to Moses the lifespan if you are strong is 80 years. His attitude and the attitude you need is that your life is over, no longer I that live but Christ who lives in me.

8 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 9 When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.

During the mortgage crisis the government was revealed to be a serpent. To make it very simple the investment banks had developed a way to take boring mortgages and turn them into a rocket ship of an investment. Very high returns without any risk. Exactly what pension funds needed and so they gobbled them up by the billions of dollars making these investment banks super rich. Of course, it was a lie. To help sell the lie they made the product they were selling so complicated no one would try to read the ingredients and they coerced the ratings agencies who were supposed to read them to look the other way. As a result they robbed the country blind. Pension funds were destroyed, tens of millions became homeless, they brought the US economy to the brink of bankruptcy. But the economists, the governments magicians were also able to reveal the crimes of these individual investment banks. But who paid for it? It was the US government that swallowed the whole cost, that means the taxpayer was the one that paid for the sins of these investment banks.

10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the Lord had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. 11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

In retrospect this was an opportunity to repent to God, to confess how crooked and corrupt the US government and the system were. But they didn’t they hardened their heart instead. They bailed the banks out and it quickly returned to “business as usual”.

13 And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said. 14 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go. 15 Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand. 16 And thou shalt say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear. 17 Thus saith the Lord, In this thou shalt know that I am the Lord: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. 18 And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river. 19 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone. 20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the Lord commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. 21 And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

The Nile river is the “economy” of Egypt. Smiting the river was equivalent to smiting the economy. This pandemic has turned the world’s economy to blood. Travel has plummeted. Airlines, car rental and hotels are all on the brink of collapse. Movie theaters, large stadiums, sports events are also on the brink of collapse. Commercial real estate and retail outlets are also going bankrupt. The one thing all these have in common is mortgages that banks hold that they can no longer pay. Moratoriums on evictions have been renewed repeatedly. The banks are being crushed. The US government has been printing money by the trillions, they don’t talk about it and it doesn’t affect our “debt” because they have exchanged the money for corporate debt. On paper they say the two are equal, but in reality that debt will be revealed to be worthless and the dollar will collapse. People are scratching in the dirt to make a living.

22 And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the Lord had said.

The magicians are those working for the CDC and WHO which explain how this pandemic is a virus and that they are working on a vaccine, etc. The Lord has judged the world’s economy and turned it to blood and still they don’t recognize that this is God’s judgement for devouring widows' houses and their pensions.

23 And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.

As far as Pharaoh can see his house is just fine. He doesn’t realize that he is now on a path that leads to the bottom of the Red Sea.

24 And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river. 25 And seven days were fulfilled, after that the Lord Hath smitten the river.

This pandemic will last for a “week”. We are at the beginning of the tribulation, the last week of Daniel’s vision, the last seven years of God’s move to gain Jerusalem on earth.

1Peter 4:1-7 The end of all things is at hand.

1 Forasmuch then as Christ suffered in the flesh,

This is the American Standard version. It is different from the KJV which says “Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh”. Regardless of what the original Greek says the KJV makes a very good point, Christ didn’t suffer simply to be stoic or ascetic. The purpose for Christ (the Messiah, the anointed one) to suffer was to “redeem us”, to pay the price for us.

arm ye yourselves also with the same mind;

The mind here is the mind of Christ, which was focused on going to the cross in order to redeem man. Once again a fantastic window into Peter’s mind. He has armed himself with the mind of Christ, he has determined in himself to “take up his cross and follow Jesus” to pay the price, any price for our salvation.

for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

The “mind of sin” is contrary to the “mind of Christ”. A person who lies, steals and murders is doing this for personal protection. Jesus in contrast went to the cross not for Himself but for us. The “mind of sin” would save himself, it would come down from the cross. When Peter lied about knowing Jesus he was doing it to save himself. In order to “take up your cross and follow” Jesus you must first take up the mind of Christ and have the attitude of paying any price to save others.

2 that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

The lusts of men are vanity. They are destructive and the result is death. Those that justify this lifestyle feel that life is pointless. It requires a vision and a calling by God to see that there is a narrow path that leads to salvation.

3 For the time past may suffice to have wrought the desire of the Gentiles, and to have walked in lasciviousness, lusts, winebibbings, revellings, carousings, and abominable idolatries: 4 wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5 who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For unto this end was the gospel preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. 7 But the end of all things is at hand:

Many people argue that the apostles and Jesus thought that the Lord’s return was going to happen in their lifetime and didn’t realize it would be thousands of years. They base this on verses like this one here. I disagree. Man, as we know him, has been around for 200,000 years. With that in mind 2,000 years is 1% of our history. From God’s viewpoint we were 99% of the way to where we are today when Peter said this. Therefore it is absurd to say that this verse is somehow discordant with the current viewpoint of human history.

So then if we look carefully at human history we will discover several key factors that have transformed homo sapiens from hunter gatherers to the society we see today. Written language was a major advance. I believe this is where the Bible begins and that Adam represents the beginning of human language. This occurred at the same time as the agricultural revolution which I feel is represented by the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Prior to the agricultural revolution we did not have to plant the trees, didn’t have any concept of “weeds” or “pests”. Every plant and every tree was a gift from God. But after this we had “good” plants like wheat, barley, and cotton, and we had “evil” plants which we call “weeds”. We had “good” creatures like cows, goats, and horses and we had “evil” creatures like “foxes” and “moles” and “rats”. Once this revolution began the basic principle for success was “the sweat of your brow”. But now, for the first time we had “thieves”, prior to this we had nothing to steal, but now we had granaries where we store all our harvest. Also we are now banished from the garden of God, instead we burn it down and plant mono crops. The biggest scientific advance was not fire, nor was it the wheel. It was domesticated animals. For example, in ancient Mexico they had “wheels” as toys but didn’t have carts. Why? No horses, cows, oxen, donkeys, etc. In fact of the 18 large domesticated animals only one existed in South America — the llama. Australia and Africa also had none. In fact all of the large domesticated animals except for the llama were found in the fertile crescent. One could think this is an amazing blessing, giving their agriculture great advantage of large plow animals, herds that can supply milk and meat, and horses which until WW1 were the equivalent of our tanks. The problem with that view is that all of the other continents did have large animals that mysteriously all went extinct at the same time. Another theory, based on quite a bit of scientific evidence, is that a cataclysmic flood caused by meteors striking the Pacific Ocean at the end of the last ice age caused a worldwide flood which caused all these creatures to go extinct. This extinction event is the single biggest reason that the Judeao Christian culture has spread across the globe as the dominant culture. The third major event in human history is religion. Once thought to be “useless” archaeologists and historians have come to realize that man, unlike all other creatures on this planet, has learned to be “eusocial”. This is a description given to a very few species (primarily insects like ants and bees). But the key point is that man can organize into societies of millions of people because we have religion which allows us to deal with offenses in a righteous and just way. Without religion we would organize by family with at most a few hundred individuals. Life would be dominated by vendettas. If you understand these three major developments, then you would realize the NT is the final piece of the puzzle. In the NT you can have differentiated work force without there being a caste system. In the NT men and women can be different yet equal in status. If you look at human history you will see that every human government has gone extinct except one, the church. No doubt church history is also dominated by failure, but if you view church history through the lens of Revelation 2 and 3 you will see that all of those failures were necessary to train and equip us to become the church in Philadelphia. In that society every member is a pillar. No one has “a lot of strength” rather together they have “a little strength”. Everyone in that society has had the experience of failed attempts, hence their prior need to leave them, and also the promise from the Lord that they would not need to go out anymore. The church in Philadelphia with Jesus as Lord is the pinnacle of human history. It is the will of God. This is where we have been heading for the last 200,000 years. With this vision it is easy to understand Peter’s word that “the end of all things is at hand”.

1Peter 4:7b-11 If you have a sound mind and are sober you would pray

be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:

Very interesting that Peter sees being of a sound mind and being sober as leading “unto prayer”. Once again I agree with Peter and disagree with those that would paint Christians and prayer as anything but the result of a sound mind and sober thought. For example, with Climate change many thought this was simply a matter of science. If we understood the science we could convince people to change their ways once they realized the alternative was mutual destruction. Likewise with nuclear armageddon, or the holocaust. But a sober assessment of human history with a sound mind would realize that those with a financial interest in ignoring the science will do so, and that these are the very ones who are profiting from all the actions that are so destructive. Scientists have known assuredly that climate change was a man made phenomenon for 20 years, and have known the science of greenhouse gases for over a hundred years. However, if you look at human consumption of fossil fuel and contribution to the atmospheric levels of greenhouse gases it has gone on at an exponential rate, growing year by year. Knowledge has not slowed it down. Those that embraced fossil fuel became “rich” and “powerful”. If you truly understand this with a sober mind it should bring you to your knees in prayer. As a result the "solutions" are nothing but a pretense to make merchandise of people. The "Green New Deal" is a $100 Trillion plan that will reduce the US consumption of greenhouse gas. Sounds like a worthy goal. The problem is that the US represents 5% of the world's population and is already the cleanest country in the world. Not only will this have a trivial impact on the problem from a global viewpoint, it might not have any impact at all. It is quite possible that any gains made in the US would be offset by increased pollution in developing countries.

8 above all things being fervent in your love among yourselves; for love covereth a multitude of sins:

When you read Peter you realize he isn’t preaching, but rather it seems his whole focus is on how he could truly “take up his cross and follow the Lord”. It is as though he has examined every step the Lord took, every mark left by the scourging, the damage to the knee when he fell, every mark. This is a man whose goal is to be faithful to the Lord. When he says that the Lord has left us an example he doesn’t say this lightly, he has examined that example in minute detail.

9 using hospitality one to another without murmuring: 10 according as each hath received a gift, ministering it among yourselves, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God; 11 if any man speaketh, speaking as it were oracles of God; if any man ministereth, ministering as of the strength which God supplieth: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, whose is the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1Peter 4:12-19 Learning to rule without having any power to destroy

12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Our sufferings are “Christ’s sufferings”. This is very similar to Paul’s word that we “fulfill” the sufferings of Christ and that we are the Body of Christ. This indicates that through sanctification we have become one with Christ. If you are one with Christ then you are one with Him in His crucifixion and you are also one with Him in His resurrection.

14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

The evil speaking is a “judgement”. Being reproached is a judgement. This evil speaking and reproaching by the world is the judgement beginning at the house of God. Imagine the house of God is gold ore, with only 5% gold. The fire boils it, they skim off the dross, the fire boils it more and they skim off more dross. Now this ore is 50% gold. This process is continued again and again until the church is 99.9% gold. This process causes those who “obey not the gospel” to be revealed and removed.

18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Suffering is a very big theme in this book. Peter wants to be able to rejoice when it happens to him, he doesn’t want to be surprised, rather he wants to prepare so that he can be glad with exceeding joy. Why do we need to suffer? Why is this the “will of God”. We are following the example of Jesus, He needed to suffer to redeem us from our sins. We have no part in that redemption. So although there was a purpose for Jesus to be crucified, and we also are to follow His example, and our suffering is also according to the will of God, what is the purpose? Jesus said He was building His church. This is His kingdom and it will replace the worldly system. In the world they lie, steal and murder. This is how those in power get into power. They are very good at destroying, not very good at ruling. As a result we go from one empire to the next and they are all relatively short lived. However, in the church it is the opposite. We learn to rule without having any power to destroy. In order to do this we have to learn obedience. Sometimes we suffer because we were disobedient to the Lord’s speaking. Sometimes we suffer because the world wants to use us as a scapegoat the way Nero did when he burned down Rome. One result of our suffering is that we will have feet of burnished brass, like the Lord, so that we can walk through these fires that test men. The bottom line is that there is no way to train us to rule and reign without suffering, and there is no way for us to mature into kings without provoking the jealousy and wrath of the world. At the time of Jezebel rulers would kill someone so that they could steal their possessions and falsely accuse others of the crime. It was estimated that a third or even half of all the prisoners were innocent. A hundred years ago, before fingerprints, it was estimated that this was closer to 30%. Since the discovery of fingerprints it dropped to 10-15%. Then with the discovery of DNA it has dropped even further, perhaps less than 5%. With cameras and other forensic tools anyone with a good lawyer and the money it would take can avoid a false conviction. One result of this is that the power of those who would abuse others, like the KKK, becomes weaker and weaker. Therefore we are now seeing the judgement that first began in the house of God going to the rich and powerful. These recent sexual abuse scandals are a very clear example. By comparison the church was trained in a situation where they had no power, no ability to create secret slush funds to pay off accusers, in an environment where they did not know “the deeper things of Satan”. So while these rich and powerful acted with impunity, ignoring the changes taking place, their sins are now exposed for the world to see, shouted from the rooftops. Who has been trained and prepared to walk in the way of righteousness? The church has. That involved suffering, but look at the result.

1Samuel 26 -- Cuomo and Newsom

This is embarrassing for the closest advisors to the king like Abner. For this to happen once, that is very bad luck. But you can’t make excuses for this the second time. Gavin Newsom is being recalled because of incompetence. Cuomo gave the order to send infected patients back to the nursing homes March 25th even though they had three field hospitals with plenty of empty beds. They then began to cover up what a catastrophe that decision was. Cuomo also claimed they gave all the data to the officials so there is nothing to complain about. This of course ignores the fact that they gave all the data in February of 2021 and hid that data for 10 or 11 months. He then blamed the workers at the nursing homes for bringing the virus into the homes. Russia and China are openly mocking the President. This chapter is the Biblical version of the story of the King who is not wearing any clothes. Biden is now naked and exposed for the world to see. There are many people calling for Cuomo’s head (figuratively, not literally) saying he should be prosecuted just as David was calling for Abner to be held accountable.

Great point! Why are you still pursuing David or in our case Trump? What is Trump guilty of? Oh yeah, he wrongly suggested that Hydrochloroquine could be used to treat Covid19. Oh wait, the scientists have confirmed that it is an effective treatment. OK, but he was xenophobic when he shut down travel to China. Oh wait, Biden has taken those words back. Still, he lied about getting a vaccine ready by the election Nov 3. OK, that is sort of true, they didn’t announce that it was ready until after the election though some think that was politically motivated to be delayed. Still he mismanaged it saying you didn’t have to have lockdowns resulting in the catastrophe that was Florida. Oh, wait, Florida did pretty well compared to states with lockdowns. Fair enough, if anyone needs to be blamed for mismanagement of the Pandemic it is surely Cuomo. Now Cuomo has come up with a list of those who are really responsible from CDC, workers in the Nursing home, haters, conspiracy theorists, and the fear of Trump’s tweets that came six months later.

19 Now let my lord the king listen to his servant’s words. If the Lord has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, people have done it, may they be cursed before the Lord! They have driven me today from my share in the Lord’s inheritance and have said, ‘Go, serve other gods.’

This is exactly what is happening right now. People are claiming that Trump incited the riot, that he was negligent in his duties, and this is so they can go serve other gods. The Gods they serve support killing babies by the millions and paying for it. They believe there is no such thing as gender. The most hateful among them in this incitement (the Lincoln Project) are pedophiles. Let’s find out who truly incited this riot. We have some of those who planned it. We know that Pelosi was responsible for security at the Capitol, she was warned that they had intelligence that some were planning a riot, and she refused troops that had been offered by Trump. She also refused the chief of security who had requested extra security.

Psalm 37 -- Promises to stand on in a time of trouble
1 Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, Neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness.

We have evil doers in the government who are being prosecuted and convicted of crimes. We have rioters and looters from all sorts of groups. You have BLM, AntiFa, and white supremacists. We also have those who are envious. Some claim that whites are “privileged” others that certain laws have favored minorities, etc.

2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.

The evil doers are being cut down as we watch. This is a promise from the Lord. Stand on it.

3 Trust in Jehovah, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on his faithfulness.

The Lord has been faithful to us. You can feed on the word, you can share your testimony, the internet is filled with people sharing their testimonies, teaching the word, and sharing dreams and visions.

4 Delight thyself also in Jehovah; And he will give thee the desires of thy heart.

What are we to make of these current events? Simple, delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit thy way unto Jehovah; Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.

Stand on this promise.

6 And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, And thy justice as the noon-day.

What we are seeing on the news is the darkness of this age, even the gross darkness. But the church will be manifested like the rising sun and the justice of the church, our ministry of reconciliation will be as the noon day sun.

7 Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

It is so easy to see those who appear to have prospered as a result of bringing wicked devices to pass. Don’t get worked up about them. Be patient, the day will come when the Lord will cast them into the fire.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself, it tendeth only to evil-doing.

Do not let what you are hearing get you all worked up. I saw the NBA got all upset over a video and walked off the court. Later it became clear that they didn’t have all the facts.

9 For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.

The Lord is going to cut off the evil doers, that is a promise. Those that wait for the Lord to do this will inherit the land, that is another promise.

10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and he shall not be.

From what I understand the judgements are really only a little while away.

11 But the meek shall inherit the land, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12 The wicked plotteth against the just, And gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

Nothing sets the teeth of the atheists on edge more than to talk of the day of the Lord’s coming.

13 The Lord will laugh at him; For he seeth that his day is coming.

We are going to see a fire like a furnace, and a flood wash the land like being in a washing machine. The fires in California will threaten the lives of many, like looking into that furnace. The floods in China will show people being pulled from the water like someone washed clean of everything they had.

14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay such as are upright in the way. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, And their bows shall be broken.

China has instituted laws that require the church to put the portrait of the leader of the country in the sanctuary, and for them to sing the national anthem. He has set himself up in the sanctuary of the Lord. The Russian leaders poison anyone that dissents. Belarus kidnaps those that set up different political parties. Saudi Arabia assassinates political commentators that criticize them. “Their sword will enter their own heart”.

16 Better is a little that the righteous hath Than the abundance of many wicked. 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; But Jehovah upholdeth the righteous. 18 Jehovah knoweth the days of the perfect; And their inheritance shall be for ever. 19 They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

We are in the time of evil and we are about to be in the days of famine. What is cancel culture all about, it is bringing people to shame and it is an evil period. This is a promise to stand on.

20 But the wicked shall perish, And the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs: They shall consume; in smoke shall they consume away.

These disasters are consuming the wicked like fat being burned up in the flame.

21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again; But the righteous dealeth graciously, and giveth. 22 For such as are blessed of him shall inherit the land; And they that are cursed of him shall be cut off. 23 A man’s goings are established of Jehovah; And he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.

This is a promise we can stand on. Lord establish my ways, uphold me with your hand. Forgive me as I forgive those who trespass against me.

25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread. 26 All the day long he dealeth graciously, and lendeth; And his seed is blessed. 27 Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell for evermore. 28 For Jehovah loveth justice, And forsaketh not his saints; They are preserved for ever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell therein for ever. 30 The mouth of the righteous talketh of wisdom, And his tongue speaketh justice. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.

Here is how you can recognize the righteous. Talk of wisdom, speak justice, law of God is in his heart, none of his steps shall slide. If you see someone who is all slippery, clueless about the law of God, whose tongue is all about vengeance and not justice, and whose wisdom is just boasting, then you know that is not the righteous.

32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, And seeketh to slay him.

You know you are dealing with someone who is wicked if they are seeking to slay a man of God.

33 Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged. 34 Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, And he will exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

Another promise we can stand on, not only will the wicked be cut off, but we will see it.

35 I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil. 36 But one passed by, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

One day they are here, the next day gone. Today we are seeing a lot of wicked who appear to have great power, but blink and they will be gone.

37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; For there is a happy end to the man of peace.

Nelson Mandela had a happy ending. A perfect man, an upright man is a man of peace.

38 As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together: The end of the wicked shall be cut off. 39 But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah: He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.

Right now is a time of trouble. So hold to this promise, your salvation is of Jehovah, He is the stronghold in the time of trouble.

40 And Jehovah helpeth them, and rescueth them: He rescueth them from the wicked, and saveth them, Because they have taken refuge in him.

Jesus will rescue us because we have taken refuge in Him.
