We are placed in this life, on this orb we call earth, to journey in self discovery and thereby find out purpose. That we are created to recognize that we have a creator. We were equipped with the ability to obtain knowledge in this world and wisdom from the Creator. All this is so that we may reach our final destination in death.

How interesting that we are alive for the sake that when we die, we may be joined with eternal Peace, Truth, and Love. It is bewildering if pondered. It is glorious in His design. Did He not make us so that we could know Him and join in a relationship with Him for His pleasure; so that we could experience everlasting joy? What is Love if not shared?

In worship there is a transaction. Something so internally intimate that the our soul and spirit engages with a realm we can only imagine in our minds, but feel with the parts of us that are most evasive, yet explicit; our essence.

In worship there is an exchange. Our inner selves cannot touch the light of glory and not be affected. So we are changed. We are freed from the confines of our senses. We are somewhat more more enhanced as humans, yet our humanity is secondary.

In this there is hope. All the words, knowledge, understanding that brings such sadness is not for naught. And this is for one reason: hope.
