Ecc 9:5 just for a reference. the Lord shared this with me just yesterday,not by vision,or dream,but by His Spirit.Proverbs 20:27 the Spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord,Searching all the innermost parts of his being. Rom 8:6 For the mind set on the flesh is death,but the mind set on the Spirit IS LIFE AND PEACE!!
This is going to be hard for some to take,but it does not matter to me,because some of us have been dieing for meat from the Word for a long time,so for those who are mature and starving for meat,here is much more then a scape of meat!! There are two reflections in every life,the one you see in the mirror which we need to make adjustments to our self,and the other reflection come from the mirror of God Word for our spirit!
Most have no problem with the first,but a great problem with the second. For self enjoys to boast,and adjust itself to others,not always for another, but for how they wish to become seen by another! The law was made for man to put an end to himself and die to himself. The law created a stoney heart for those under it. Ezekiel knew of this, and spoke this to those who would hear.( Ezekiel 36:26-27) verse 26 a heart of stone comes from only that which was given to us in stone,yep the Ten Commandments!
The very letter of the law brought death.( 2 cor 3:6-18) There is no comfort in the law,there is only a Glory to God in speaking of what and who man truly is in his sight! Therefore all of us needing a savior to free us from such bondage. verse 9 see the law had Glory,but now how much more Glory is by the Spirit of God who has set us free towards continued glory through our Lord Jesus!
Those who boast in self boast mostly from the law they still are in. And that is because they wish to remain there.We do not! To speak of this in the Bible study is fruitless because so many look to argue and rabbit trail around the facts of what Jesus truly did for us! The point is this! Rom 10:4 to those who DO what??amen believe!
For we must believe this to become free from it! Now at what point in the Old Covenant did man upset the Lord? because there sure is a place I will show this to you right now!( exodus 19:8!!!) we will do!!! if you go and look up the Hebrew transcription from this you will find this! When they said we will do,they were telling the Lord no more do we wish your grace upon us,we wish to be judged by our own works!
And so as you read from here,God moved away from his people because of it!Chapter 20 the Ten Commandments! Telling man since you do not wish my grace anymore and wish to be judged by your own works, here it is good luck!!LOL Now the law was perfect, so perfect no man could ever hope to ever fulfill it! The whole point to Jesus coming to fulfill the law was so man could go back to how things were before the law!GRACE!!! Comfort peace, and now through Holy Spirit!!
So never again will man boast upon self,but rather upon our Jesus and his most wonderful grace!Grace not to be free to sin,but rather to place ones mind upon how thankful we stay to and for our Jesus because of all HE DID!! We had nothing to do with it at all!
No more are you to condemn yourself for your lack,who does not have lack??We all do!( rom 8:1!) Jesus mended the burned out bridge man did by looking themselves to seperate themselves from a most loving God! And Jesus did this by his own blood! The BLOOD of Jesus poured out to bridge the gap man himself destroyed because man could! he can't now!
God knew he could never let man put his hands upon his promise again so he swore by himself!!( heb 6:13-19) Never again would man makes things so bad on himself again! God was not speaking to anyone here,he was speaking unto himself!! verse 17!And for those who truly believe in our Jesus who cannot lie,(verse 18)then they themselves have what Jesus himself has promised to us through his very blood!! But many look to change this by there own boasting!
They say Jesus came so that you can work out his Ten Commandments better now. LOL The laws which are now written by Holy Spirit do not come from stone!( heb 8:9!! but rather from God's new commandment!!( john 13:34!!) from this commandment are the laws of Holy Spirit now written! If you love as Jesus loves, you will not steal,you will not covet,etc... but not because of anything you can do, but rather by Holy Spirit who now lives in you!!
If you take out Jesus again, you take out grace again, and then you become severed again!!( gal 5:4!!)Faith in Christ Jesus and all he has already done is now our faith!( gal 3:24-29!!!) So what is the law of Christ then??here it is!!( gal 6:2-5!!)For to bear another burdens is to love as Jesus has and will do forever!
So the next time you are in the chatroom and hear of someone boasting in there knowledge of scripture, remember this! grace boasts in Christ,the law boast in self! You soon know where that person lives in!
