Life can be chaotic. And it certainly has. It seems that one crisis follows the other. In an endless chain of draining battles. Me against the World. The World against me. Me against me. Total chaos. Incomprehensible hardship. Unexpected blows in my face. It is not a new thing. It seems like I have been fighting since forever. And this last six moths... It could have knocked down even the bravest of us. But something has changed. Although the chaos is overwhelming, and i sometimes struggle to keep up, something has definitely changed. I am in a weird way calm. Even happy. Not ignorant, I still handle the chaos. But I have a deep peace. I am resting. And I think of John 14:27. His peace. And Phillipians 4:7. The peace that surpasses our understanding. It is a supernatural peace that is totally illogical. And here I am. In the Eye of the Storm. Aware of the chaos all around, but with at deep trust and peace in God. And I just find myself in awe and admiration. God is amazing!

Hello @icequeen, that is wonderful news. Thank you for sharing it with us :)

I'm interested to know what you believe changed in your life to help you arrive at the place where you are at today, in the "eye of the storm" as you called it. Do you know what the change or cause was, or did it just sort of happen?

Thanks!

God bless you!!

Good question! I have moved away from digital friendships and keep more to my IRL friends. Trusting God more and people less. I am also learning (slowly) that work and career is not everything, and I need to prioritise being present in life. Perhaps being involved in local politics has made me more rooted where I live. So many things that God has lead me to change, I guess.
