So my husband's sister is getting married next year and we've just been waiting on the invitation to come. Tonight, however, My husband called to see what his folks are up to and how they're doing and was informed that our two daughters will be at his sister's wedding because they are in it.

NEVER were we asked if our daughters could take part in the wedding. No. we were told that they would be there.

I am trying to find any common sense and decency and maybe try and make this ok so I don't end up rocking the boat. But I just can't justify it.

Of course, if she had simply asked, I would have said we will definitely try to get the girls there on time and helped in any way. But we were dictated what our children will do and I am furious and baffled at the audacity.

At this point I should expect it, but I guess we removed ourselves well enough that when it happens, it completely blindsides me.
