So, as you all know I´m a 30 year old crazy woman with the heart and maybe a little bit of the mind of a child :D

I just wanted to share with you guys the joy it brings me to be able to share very special moments with my friends at the museum, even though they are younger than me and supposedly more lively.

Why is it such a big deal you ask?

Even though I don´t look my age, it has been tough growing up with the family God chose for me. Ever since I was in kindergarten I´ve had older and younger friends with whom Ive formed very good relationships. However, my parents would always disagree and say "why don´t you get friends your age?" or "you´re too old to be friends with her /him"

Those words that were so constantly repeated throughout my life, helped lower my self esteem and the way I thought people saw me. I was always too "old" for cartoons, for the color pink, for this, for that... it was strange for me to get a compliment on my choice of friends or clothes from my parents.

So yeah, having friends that are younger than me and that get along so well with me and make every weekend at the museum exciting is a GREAT deal for me and im grateful God sent me such amazing people.

So for parents out there, please be careful what you to say to your kids and remember every word has a big impact on them because they look up to you.

Thanks for reading and God bless! :)

Aw I like this,
I've always gotten along better with those older than me (adults nit teens)
Or those a lot younger than me. I have trouble making friends with kids my age. Who knows why
