As an adult I confess I wondered why
my Mother always seemed to have news
that seemed depressing.
Now I understand why, and I hope this
helps the younger generation to understand.
We aren't trying to be depressing on purpose.
We are at the time in our life where our friends
are having issues and this is our life.
When we tell you our friend is ill or has lost a
mate, or have a child with marital or health
issues, or perhaps our grandchildren are in
need of prayer, it is is not because we enjoy
the negative. We don't ask anything of you,
just try to understand this is a time in our
life we have come to.
Would we like to be young again and talk
about the latest fashion, or newest movie
we saw ? We would love to be able to talk
about our child and their growth spurts,
or their accomplishments. However, we have
done that.
Be happy, enjoy every moment of your life
as you go through the different phases of
life.
One day you will want to be understood
when you have issues you want to share with
your adult children.
God bless those who are willing to understand
Mom and Dad and we just ask you take us,
and our issues to the Lord in Prayer. Then
trust Him to work everything for the good,
as He promised.
Love and respect your elderly parent and
know they were patient with you when you
went through the stages from toddler into
your teen years and loved you through lifes
trials as you grew into adulthood.
Love covers a multitude of sins. God bless
you for understanding the cycle of life is
what it is. Loving is easy when Christ is Lord
