Ok, so we all know spammers love to get a hold of us. Like our cars extended warranty.......they can come up from anywhere. Have you ever thought about witnessing to some who is trying to spam you? I don't know why this popped in my head but It did. The other thing that popped in was the fact that not only would we be a witness but we would dely them from spamming someone else. Just food for thought.

God bless

Years ago, I wrote my own Bible tract that was more like a booklet. In case you have not noticed, I tend to be a bit wordy because I like to bring people to a place of understanding if possible. Anyhow, I turned that tract into a website (I no longer have either the tract or the website), and when spammers would spam me, I would respond with a link to my website about God/salvation.

Whether or not any good ever came from it, I do not know.

Wow that's pretty creative. I would not have thought of such a thing....neat. I've had scammers before (pretty sure we all have lol) and I saw a video where a women was being scammed and she not only knew it but also kept the scammer occupied to slow down his process of scamming people. So I had a thought, why not try to witness to them. Now I'm just waiting for one to give me a buzz lol.

I probably get about 2 dozen scam emails every single day. I normally just delete them, but now you have me thinking that I ought to go back to my old ways of witnessing to them somehow. I no longer have my own website, but I suppose that I could find a good preaching video (Do they still exist?) somewhere and just send them a link to that.

Btw, when I did have my own website, I periodically got messages from people all over the world telling me that they were convicted by it. How they even found my website was a bit of a mystery to me. There must have been some Divine appointments in there.

Imagine a scammer reaching out to scam you and then you present the gospel of Jesus and plant a seed. You never know....they could become a believer and become saved.that would be awsome

I’ve tried the direct approach….. silence from me….. hello hello From them then I say “sir, do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior?” Usually they disconnect after unfortunately no takers yet. But I’m hopeful one day.

If you try reply a spammer it may allow them to hack you. Bad idea to click on random links.

Yes I agree. But sometimes they call you....maybe they want to talk about your cars extended warranty lol. I've answered my phone and realized it was a spammer, I had an opportunity to talk to them about the lord. Even though yes they rejected the conversation, it at least took time away from them to spam someone else. Food for thought ☺️
