"WORTHY IS THE LAMB WHO WAS SLAIN"

This day today a little over 2,000 years ago was the greatest day in history...
I need to write this, not just for people to read but to express my praise to the lamb who was slain. My spirit is crying out "Holy, holy, holy is he"..
Indeed he is worthy, perfect sinless he was and he died for me and for anyone reading this.. His Love lead him to the grave, The grave that had our names on it... He willingly endured all for you and all for me.. So we could live. There are no words I can write that can express what my heart is singing this morning...

Isaiah 53:2-5
For the servant of God grew up before him like a tender plant, and like a root out of dry ground;
He has no form or comeliness that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a man of sorrows and pains and acquainted with grief and sickness;
Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we did not appreciate his worth or have any esteem for him.
Surely he has borne our griefs, sicknesses, weaknesses and diseases and carried our sorrows and pains of punishment, yet we ignorantly considered him stricken, smitten and afflicted by God.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our guilt and iniquities;
The chastisement of our peace was upon him and with the stripes that wounded him we are healed and made whole.

THANKYOU JESUS THANKYOU JESUS THANKYOU JESUS..
My heart blesses your name, with everything I have and with everything I am I bow down to you...

It is so nice to know that He can relate to us because He understands pain and humiliation. He probably always did, but He also knew that we needed to see Him enduring it in the flesh. So many things He accomplished for us in that short little span 2000 years ago. PTL!

Worthy is the lamb

Thanks for reminding us of what we often times take for granted. This should be a daily reminder -- the perfect planning, foresight, and execution of God loves through His son Jesus Christ. That before the world was formed, God knew us and was willing to die as one of us so that He could live and share his eternal love with us.
