mromons believe everyone is a god, and that God the Father is the son of another god, who is the son of another god, etc. etc. etc. that Jesus & Satan are brothers, born to the Father & His goddess wife on planet Kolob, where they used to be human but eventually through enlightenment or something became gods.
that Satan's plan was predestination but Jesus' was free will, so the Father decided He like Jesus idea better, and made Satan play bad guy so it would work out.
they believe women will only be resurrected if they marry and their husband calls them by name after he is resurrected - so it's up to the whim of men to decide whether or not women can have eternal life.
they believe that the only way anyone will ever go to hell is to be a mormon and then quit the mormon church. everyone else, no matter how you live your life or what you believe, will go to one level of heaven or another.
they believe that the afterlife consists of men constantly procreating to populate other planets with people who will grow up to be gods of their own planets, and women's purpose is primarily just to have these babies.

their missionaries won't tell you these things - most of them probably don't even know it, because they send people out to be missionaries while they are still young and not fully indoctrinated. but this is what the people they call prophets say, and they believe those people speak directly for God. there are a lot of things no one will tell you about mormonism until you're in too deep to get out. they pretty it up and make it sound like Christianity to get new converts, and quickly turn them into missionaries, but underneath it all, it's insidious and absurd.

this website is a great resource about mormonism --

http://www.mormonthink.com/

all the mormon missionaries i've met are wonderfully nice people, who i am very sad for because i see them as naive & deceived. most of the older mormons i've met who have been through temple rituals and been taught more 'secret' stuff appear nice at first, but when you start questioning and poking around at some of their more wacked-out doctrines, and trying to show them how different it is from what the Bible actually says, they turn very mean and arrogant and spiteful.

IMHO the ones who don't know much about their religion are deceived, and the ones who do are willfully ignorant at best, and straight out liars at worst. my heart really goes out to the missionaries i've met, who seem to really love Christ but have no real idea who He is, because they've never been taught about grace, or picked up the Bible and read for themselves what He said and what Paul taught. most of them mean very well but they're indoctrinated and led astray by clever, wicked false teachers :(

poor, sweet people!

These people from false doctrines will always come at you this way. they will be super friendly, and will work to convince you that the Gospel of Christ and their doctrines arent really so different, and at first glace they seem like they are from the same source. But after you dig deeper you find that everything they claim goes against the words of Christ entirely : p

Mormonism is also tied directly to Freemasonry, which in/of itself is satanic.

I hope I don't come across many Mormons then, as I am very gullible :)

Here's some advice from the Word:

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." 1 Thess 5:21

Be a Berean and verify all things spoken to you with the Word of God.

"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Acts 17:11

Hi,

Dont ever think Mormons are Christians. They will try to tell you they are
just another Christian denomination but they are an occult.

They believe every person on earth lived in spirit form with God and that
God then gave them flesh bodies to live out their lives in planet earth as a test and
that those who pass the test will return back to God.

They believe in a faith of works. They have to try their best and live good and proper lives, in
accordance with what their leaders think.

Every so often, I think it is 3-5 years. They are reviewed by their bishop, leaders etc if
they pass they are allowed to keep going to the Mormon temple, if not they are thrown out.

Thus it is their leaders who decide if they are good enough and not the salvation of Jesus.
Incidentally this trying to be good enough to keep going to the Mormon temple means the
leaders dictate where they live, who they marry, etc so it is a cult.

Josephe Smith was a crook a criminal but he mysteriously found these golden plates with
a strange language written on them. An angel (sorry can't remember his name) told him
where to find some special glasses to translate what was on these plates. And hence a
new cult was born.

But look at the official mormon websites and read all the stuff, not just the gloss of the first
few web pages, and you will see how they acknowledged that there so called prophets
keep getting new revelation and so what the Mormons believe keeps changing.
Sounds a bit fishy to me I don't know about you.

They also believe in substitute baptisms for the dead, so you can be baptised on behalf of
a dead relative to ensure their place in heaven. They point to 1 Cor v 29 but take it completely
out of context with the whole passage. They do the same with various other scripture.

I use to work with a Mormon and he would tell people he was a Christian, I use to say no
your not! He would say he believed the same things, that he believed in angels, Jesus etc.
But even Satan believes in God.

Funny that they will always be evasive about what they believe, if they are not trying to
deceive then when don't they just come right out and say what they believe. Hence a cult.

Sorry it's one of my bug bears. They are slippery characters to pin down. Anyone who can't
come right out and say what they believe is either ashamed, being deceptive or is from a cult.

Mormons: must wear holy undergarments against evil and demons 24h a day even when taking a shower, Believe that their deiety is making love all the time (creating souls) and that we people need to have lot of children to make bodies for those souls, believe after death you will live/populate a planet
Christianity: God the father, Jesus the son that died on the cross for all sins, Holy spirit to guide us, Angels that protect us, Preaching of loving one another.

Did I miss anything Important
