I used to watch the old black and white and vintage cartoons occasionally to appreciate the art and humor. When I discovered the Post something funny thread, I remembered some of the funnier ones that I thought others might enjoy.

The Bullwinkle and Rocky Show had a variety of comedy that appealed to children and adults with clean humor. I liked Mr Peabody, the smart dog, who had a boy instead of the other way around. They had history lessons with the Way Back Machine. There were the Fractured Fairy Tails that did funny spins on classic fairy tails and Aesop's Proverbs.

The other end of the spectrum was the early seasons of Ren and Stimpy. Teenage/ twenties humor, so sometimes gross and always sarcastic. The art and voices were unique. The Chihuahua Ren was an angry version of a mid twentieth century actor, Peter Lori.

My favorite was Underdog.
A pure hero who had the worst stereotype villains, and a "girlfriend" he would always rescue, but you'd never see them socially.
Here's Simon BarSinister.
Do you know what Bar means?

You probably read that word/ name in the Bible.

It means "Son Or in his case Simon Son of Sinister.
The writers did a play on the first and last name and threw in the Jewish connection of the WW2 scientists.
This reminds me of a thread I started in the conspiracy forum on Predictive Programming. I might bring this up there since it applies to the past twenty years and especially the last two.

Last point from the cartoon above....
The simple entertaining stories of some of the better children's cartoons have themes that convey history and human nature.
The art forms of the past in travelling theater over thousands of years would often impart more than mere entertainment. Ted Turner knows this. That is why he funded the creation of Captain Planet. He used children's entertainment to mold their views in those impressionable years. This often lasts a lifetime.
That is why anyone with children really need to be selective and screen what they watch.

Back to Simon Bar Sinisters evil invention.
There have always been evil scientists. Their funding is mostly driven by money and applied to making money for the big tycoon families. The example above reminds me of a few billionaires that bought large tracts of land in order to monopolize and control water prices. It's the new gold (ie. Black gold/ oil). Food/ agriculture and water are the major industries that are owned by fewer and fewer. Here's that article for those interested.
Watch the short cartoon clip first so as to get the gist of where I'm going with this.

I use to be a big fan of Dragon Ball Z… I think animes can be dangerous if not fully aware of what messaging or characters are portrayed, this can also include cartoons.

I do like watching some cartoons but I’m more careful around what the storyline could be eg things to do with sorcery or witchcraft I avoid.
