So, I am always worrying about my safety, my life, my troubles, ect. I know god will protect me, but I have trouble completely trusting his? I want badly to trust and give my troubles to The Lord, but always feel this struggle letting go. Any words of encouragement? Prayers?

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

I struggle with this as well, but it is improving. :)
Mostly because I was calling out to God Our Father, wanting Him to keep me safe and hold me close to Him.
When He answered me saying," if you would simply be still and know that I am God, I will hold you and keep you safe."
Then He said....
"The safe place and care you desire is already with you, simply stop looking at the things that cause you to worry and be afraid, and set your eyes on me!"

God bless

When the world starts to get to me. I take time out to read and meditate on Gods Promises. I also meditate on the fact that "GOD IS IN CONTROL". we can't see the big picture. Trust God, he is in control.

After hours of shaking and vomiting and fighting dark thoughts of hopelessness, I am just starting to see some light today. I don't know to what level you experience anxiety, but this is a severe test and I struggle to jeep my eyes on Him and remember His promises ... but when I can, it certainly does help. Nothing that we experience is a surprise to Him... and it all has a purpose because He loves us dearly. When I am able, I remind myself of this... I will pray for you to experience peace and grow in faith.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 16:33
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

As you grow in your knowledge of Him your trust will increase. Whoever you spend a lot of time with, you will know well. Once we see Him as all-knowing and ALL-LOVING, our trust level goes up fast :).
