P
Hey, everyone--I was hoping you would share some Scripture God used to speak to you in this past week or so.
I'll get us started. For me it was Psalm 32...all of it, but these words, as always made me sooo happy! :
"How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,Whose sin is covered!
How blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity,
And in whose spirit there is no deceit!" (verses 1-2)
And these words reminded me of when the Lord first spoke them to me, many years ago. Although I am sad to say I still need bit and bridle sometimes , may the Lord be praised He has sufficiently changed me that it's more rarely needed now. (isn't it good to look back and see the work God has done in us?)
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding,
Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check,
Otherwise they will not come near to you." (verses 8-9)
Just so happy to know He will instruct me and teach me and counsel me...with His eye upon me! I hope I will continue to draw near to Him...nearer and nearer, dear Jesus!
