In Genesis 2:18, the lord God said" It is no good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him". Henceforth, God created first marriage of mankind. Here, God’s purpose of creating marriage is for COMPANIONSHIP between a man and a woman. God want man and woman to live happily together and He promised to bless them. It is NEVER God’s purpose that marriage is to be painstaking or heartbroken for so many couples today.

It is my own personal opinion that the reason why so many marriages broken was we PREFER to use our own formula rather than Gods’. We take what is acceptable by the society in general as formula and expect God to fulfil his promise to bless our marriage. When our formula went wrong and problem comes, we asked God for help. When there isn’t any answer from God, we either blame God or our partner for the problem or find a new partner.

God’s formula on marriage is as follows;

1) Male and female (Matthew 19:4). NOT male and male, women and women, between transgender, or transsexual.

2) In Matthew 19:5-6 says “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be UNITED to his wife, and the two will become 1 fresh. So they are no longer 2 but 1. Therefore, what God has JOINED TOGETHER, let man not separate”.

3) There should be no divorce among married couple except for adultery and NO re-marriages except natural death of a spouse.
