I'm going to have to quote my personal hero, Lewis Black, and say, "The only difference between Democrats and Republicans is Democrats blow and Republicans suck!"

The Democrats are no good for christianity. Barack Obama will destroy Christianity if re-elected.
This makes absolutely no logical sense. Political parties were not created to destroy or enforce religion.

Daniel 2:21 - He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.

Romans 13:1 - Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

I forgot one:
1 Timothy 2 - 1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior.

We should be spending time in prayer for our leadership, not speaking ill of them.

Seeing to it that they leave through perfectly legal and ethically viable means is another alternative. Long live the ballot box. Long live the fighters.

I'm all for the ballot box too :) But I still have an obligation to pray for them, whether I agree with them or not.

What bible verse did you quote exactly?

Are you a spiritual medium? Why and how are you teaching me how God sees me?

All you did was call me a fish who wandered as if he had no ruler... and something smells fishy.

Something smells fishy alright, and I believe it's your mental state.

You talk like you're speaking didactic wisdom, but your words scream confused babel.

I've dealt with people like you before that talk in circular riddles, and they always turn out to be false prophets.

Again:

Ecclesiastes 10:2

A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left.

If that simple wisdom is lost on you, you need to study the Bible more, with less ego.

Please do me a favor and elaborate on the 'irony of Christianity' because personally I find none. Christianity is a reality to me, not a religion. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and God is my Father.

If you keep up with the vague and very strange dialog though I'll call you out every time.
I am sorry but you seem overly antagonistic. Do try to be polite please. It makes for much healthier discussions that will hopefully not lead into a slagging match.

Yes he wrecked America but for the sake of whom?
This is from the Chicago Jewish News.
Chicago Jewish News - Jewish Chicago's Hometown Newspaper

OBAMA AND THE JEWS: A look at why some Jews love him and some don't trust him; and at the key role Chicago Jews played in getting him to where he is By Pauline Dubkin Yearwood (10/24/2008) Abner Mikva, the former Chicago congressman, federal judge and White House counsel to President Bill Clinton, puts a 21st-century twist on the notion that Clinton was "the nation's first black president." "I think when this is all over, people are going to say that Barack Obama is the first Jewish president," he said.
Mikva, a powerful figure in local and national Democratic politics for decades, was one of Sen. Obama's early admirers, beginning in 1990 when he tried to hire the brilliant student and first black president of the Harvard Law Review for a coveted clerkship. (Obama turned him down, saying he was going to move to Chicago and run for public office. "I thought that showed a lot of chutzpah on his part," Mikva says with a laugh.)
Since then, Mikva's support for and nurturance of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has never wavered. He is one of many influential Chicago Jews who have been among Obama's earliest and most ardent backers.
One longtime Jewish observer of the political scene, who did not want to be identified, said admiringly that "Jews made him. Wherever you look, there is a Jewish presence."
Yet outside of Chicago, there has been a significant amount of Jewish resistance to Obama's candidacy, although that may be lessening with Sen. Hillary Clinton, a favorite among Jews, out of the picture.

Independents are just as bad. You might as well change that to say "all politicians".

read Romans 13!!!!! It is God who elected them.

And unfortunately, the USA got what we deserved.

This was our wake up call.

Are Christians ever going to stnd up for JESUS?

JESUS was no coward and would not ever let the Word of GOD be treated as it is now.
