It's a funny story, made me lol (until the explanation- I'm sorry to hear that! )
It's good that you have such a great sense of humor (even if others might at times find it "strange")

Kind of funny story, if it wasn't so sad - I'm sorry for the loss of your foot. 'Though it's none of my business, (I won't be offended if you don't answer), I'm curious as to the link between covid and the loss of your foot.

I thought a diagnosis of "covid" was respiratory related, whilst a loss of limbs or similar was usually associated with poor circulation and/or severe infection (e.g. caused by blood clots, diabetes, strong/bad medicine etc.)

Did you consider the reason for your diagnosis may be that the medical staff/team involved were partially culpable (e.g. not correctly diagnosing your original condition, and/or causing or exacerbating your condition by treating your "covid" with a bad protocol), and the diagnosis of "covid" having caused the injury was made to avoid liability on their part?

Thank you as this was the type of response I was hoping for. There is much more to this story I hope to share in about a year.
I'm gonna rise again, I'm gonna walk again without mechanical help, I'm gonna dance again............ Humour helps me get there

One of my kids just said when she grows up she wants to be a vegetarian.

"What?!"

"You know," she says. "Take care of dogs and cats and other animals."

"Ohhhhhh. Veterinarian!"
She had me scared there for a minute. 😆

"Hey, Jude"

Took me about three seconds...

Did you know that song is supposed to be about "shooting up" (drugs)...?

That's because it's not true. Hey Jude was written by Paul McCartney
to comfort John Lennon’s son Julian during the divorce of his parents.
Thank you.
Makes me feel a bit better now.

The writing and recording of "Hey Jude" coincided with a period of upheaval in the Beatles. The ballad evolved from "Hey Jules", a song McCartney wrote to comfort John Lennon's young son Julian, after Lennon had left his wife for the Japanese artist Yoko Ono. The lyrics espouse a positive outlook on a sad situation, while also encouraging "Jude" to pursue his opportunities to find love. After the fourth verse, the song shifts to a coda featuring a "Na-na-na na" refrain that lasts for over four minutes.

May exit left off the stage now.
