Joel 2:28-29
And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.

These verses really stoke something in me!

But people have been having dreams and seeing visions for thousands of years. Adam and Eve and their kids probably did.

I sure have had some mighty whacky dreams and visions of things from the future.

But I'm sure most people in my generation that have watched a lot of movies and stuff have too.

What dreams and what visions is God talking about giving people exactly?

How can we know that the dreams and visions people are having now, are those that are the result of God pouring out His spirit on us?

Well you know if it's from God because the vision or dream comes true. The evil one only lies. They also tend to be symbolic of things from the Bible.

I've had dreams come true before as well. My grand father swore he had visions of the future and actually wrote his whole living will the day before he died.

For me I've seen angelic beings in dreams. You can feel the energy from them and the holiness. They are also huge to which my hand is like a toddlers compared to them. It's scary and awesome.

I believe God whispers secrets and wisdom in the night. I have a lot of lucid dreams so I will ask him questions and will actually hear him in my dream. I feel it's him bc the answers are biblical and I feel a deep sense of peace.

I do not typically dream about end of world things but some people do. Yes TV can aid in it but....God knew all of that would exist. That's kinda the point. Not...well it doesn't count bc it's technology related.

There is something freeing and spiritual about lucid dreams. I will admit I get distracted alot during them by flying and singing. But it does make me think of the garden of eden where there was literally no fear. I enjoy being around God and angels more though.
