I'm not sure if anyone has been with PTSD and have survived and healed from it . I'm just wondering if there are ways to heal narcissistic abuse and family violence . I have gone no contact with my parents for about a month now .

Yes, my siblings and I dealt with PTSD from years of abuse. I'm so sorry you have to deal with it. Yes, there is a lot of information for people who want to work through their pain and overcome the effects of violent abuse. I recommend good counseling, someone who will help guide you in the power of Christ Jesus to overcome the pain and fear.

I also advise that you don't push your heart aside and force yourself to forgive your abusers out of guilt. The Lord will show you how to work that all out in the future but first you need to let Christ Jesus heal your heart and mind. You must give yourself time and space to grieve and move through the steps of healing. You are precious in God's sight and that's the first thing you need to believe. You are loved with a great ever-present love!

Nothing is impossible with God. You can be assured He is faithful and His very nature is healing with His great love. Please feel free to pm me and I can send you a few links with information that has helped me. God's gracious blessings to you! I'll be praying for you!
