Just work on your relationship with God on your own for now and if He decides to place you in a church, He will and it will be a good one too. So don't sweat it. I had plenty of people quote to me that hebrews verse but a lot of them were people who didn't really care about me. God knows your heart and he knows YOU. So don't worry. :)

Yes the Lord will always accept you! I left church too after my divorce for the very same reason, people judging me. True Christians don't judge what is happening in another person's life. I miss belonging to a church but I am still raw at how I was treated because I got out of an abusive marriage. I just won't hang around people who judge me, I already judge myself enough! But thank God he is not judging me. He loves me. He loves you and your family just the way you are and he even loves all the people in the church that are faking that everything is just great. I think I will try church again someday but it may take awhile before I find someplace where I feel comfortable. I hope you can find that too.
