If any man is going to have his hands on my woman like that, it better be me.

Well, that is just ridiculous. Sorry, but I wouldn't allow it to be done. There is no need to wash your private area every single day, especially if you're lying in a bed with clean sheets.
Then I hope you are never my patient, those beds have plastic covers on the mattresses, it makes you sweat. People get smelly in hospital.

OK - not in the medical profession, so someone help me if I am in error: it's done if the patient can't do it him/herself. This means they are most likely immobile. Many may be bedridden and can't even make it to the bathroom. Some will have catheters, enemas, and those flat adult diaper things underneath them. All that stuff needs to be cleaned DAILY.

All humans are perverts.

Exactly, as I pointed out before the number one cause of bed sores is urine breaking down the skin. Faeces has the same effect and catheters need to be regularly cleaned to try and avoid infection.

Not me. Bed baths are a humiliation to patients. I personally would not allow it.

I really do hope this is your idea of a joke. Bed baths are in no way a humiliation to the patients, patient dignity is very important.

Oh no no no, not doctors. Doctors are immune from lust. There's no way they could ever look at their patients sexually from time to time, except all the doctors who have lost their licence for sexual misconduct, never mind the ones that hide it. lol

You're kidding, right? The nurse gets the patient to bend their knees and spread their legs and then washes their private area. How is that not a humiliation?

Because of the attitude of the nurse and the patient. I have never encountered a patient who would rather stay dirty. If a patient is able to wash themselves they are encouraged to do so but if they are unable to then help will be provided. I suggest you learn a bit more.

I pity the woman that marries a man that is so insecure, he worries what's going through the mind of her doctor during an exam.

Yep, you're right! Having a problem with another man sticking his fingers and his face in my wife's vagina makes me a insecure and possessive husband. How awful of me.

I find it odd that an exam (that's all it is) can be made to sound so perverse and disgusting. How do you feel about mammograms. I don't about the other women on this sight but when someone squishes my boobs between 2 plates I love it. I hope my husband doesn't mind. I also enjoy root canals should I see a female dentist for those?

I'm uncomfortable with the thought of having a male obgyn so I have a female doctor and she is amazing! My husband doesn't like the idea either and since I'm already against it it's not a big deal. However, my doctor happened to be off duty when my son was born and of course I ended up going into labor when the only male obgyn was on call. At that point though, neither of us cared.. We just wanted to see our son! He was very professional and delivered my son safely so I don't have anything to complain about. Plus my husband was there the whole time. I will continue to see my female obgyn though! & would have preferred her to deliver my baby but that's okay :)

It seems that, at the core, this is less about "Is the doctor a perv/is my wife getting pleasure out of this" (I can tell you that it's highly unlikely that she is) and more of a "That is my wife, you are touching her and seeing her where only I should."

Stephen100 (or anyone who has responded), is that correct? Or are your issues all of the above of what I mentioned?

I've heard this ''face'' thing from you and the other fella whose name i can't remember in earlier posts....i'm not sure what experience you have with pelvic exams but it sounds like you've been sorely misinformed. nobody's face is being shoved anywhere. you know that, right? please tell me you're just speaking hyperbolically for the sake of supporting a weak point and that this isn't actually what somebody has led you to believe... 8s
