Just got of phone with my sister and I just want to scream I am so mad. Long story as short as I can make it. My mother has custody of my daughter age 16
She also has my 28 year old free loading pot smoking worthless son living with her. She continues to fork money over to left and right. My mother works 3 part time jobs has 300 dollars a month in child support going to her from my husband and I a month. We maybe make 1500 a month as we are both on disability. She also gets about 900 a month in sad for our daughter now because of hubby's disability. And she had the nereve to cry to my sister about how she is worried how she will be able to help cover dead beat brothers child support. During the winter. Months. As I sit here and have barley any food most of the time. This really. Burns me up. The worst thing is when child support threatened. To throw my husband. In jail several times for not paying while he was waiting. Sad outcome. She sat there all high and mighty and did not care lord please give me strength not to go choke them. End rant sorry folks I am just deeply. Depressed and angry now.

I'm often tempted to ask panhandlers on street corners how much income they get a month from the government. And, if they tell me it's more than I get, (which is quite likely), to then ask them to give me some of their money. lol

We're left with three choices:
1. Scream it out to the person, (who has already established she/he is the worst life gets, so is immuned to all reality.)
2. Let it eat at us.
3. Thank God that we have climate-controlled shelter, food, indoor plumbing, electricity, Internet access, and at least enough to buy one thing a month we don't need. (Although, I'm hard pressed to figure out if my Diet Decaf Pepsi/Coke is a want or a need. lol)

I vacillate between #2 and #3.

oh I am aware of what happens trust me.. I know she uses her money to bail my little brother out time and time again. This has been told to anyone who will listen. My point was she is crying poor and rakes in over 3000 a month. now i know that may not be a lot of money to some people. But that is like double what I have to live on right now.. It burns me up so bad that she is crying about money troubles and could care less if I even have food or not. This has been my mother's MO for years and years.... She never calls on Christmas birthdays mother's day or any day except when her child support does not show up.. So yeah I am a little bent about it. But nothing I can do except pray.. P.s. I do not mean to sound rude or snippy I am sorry if I have I just am going to have a brain bleed if I keep hearing her crap lol..

I am not certain if post will get to jenniferand2, but I just wanted say that I hear you and it does sound like it is a rough go. Seems that best to do is to, "Let go and let God." It doesn't help thinking about injustices and such, as that will never help and just encourage depression.

My daughter is 16 almost 17. She has wanted to come home for more then 2 years. However she feels guilty. Leaving.
my mother. She knows my mother is sick
Stage 3 copd and she has been guilted
And manipulatied so bad over the years that she now feels guilty because she fears no one will help my mother
This type of twist stuff has gone on sense day one
I tried several times to get her back through court bit my mother had her hating me so bad by bashing me
that my daughter would tell her lawyer she did not want to come home and how afraid she was
It was not until my older daughter turned 18 and starting seeing younger daughter and telling her all I did and tried
And that they both were lied to for years. After my younger daughter realized the truth she finally made. A big enough fuse to start coming for visits
The family court I went through is twisted these judges there should not be judges. As for my pot smoking brother he has been busted several times slap on wrist and mommy bails him out. Even family court was told several times about his pot use when I tried to get my daughter. Back.. my mother lied to judge and said he did not smoke anymore well that's some info even Dr Phil wanted to do story on my situation but my husband. Refused so DR Phil said he couldn't do it with out him.
