after being on this site for a short time, it has come to my attention there is ONLY a minority of people here who show fruits of the spirit. and the majority it seems they have a false gospel and thus are not truly christian.

people here dont know their bibles, saying its wrong to preach OT, gay is ok theyre just in love, God doesnt judge or hate, christians are suppose to be tollerant of other peoples sin. and so on.. its so wrong and you dont know the bible.

it seems there is a false gospel here. BEWARE.

most Christian websights are like a light that drawls the most ungodly, from athiest trying to lead young in the faith away, to the false liberal christianity you mentioned, actually this site is much better than alot of sites I've been to. can you imagine simply posting scripture on a christian forum and getting banned, thats what happens when christian websights allow homosexuals to be moderators

While there are many who indeed may not have the same faith and you do,or believe in the same Gospel, I also remember Jesus being out among so many who believed they also knew the Law and did not.( Rom 15:1-13) Please do read this, and read it very slowly so as to capture each and every word. You are not wrong in your statement!!

But to present judgment will also do no one any good either.WE!!! Those who do truly believe in the love, grace and mercy of our Living Lord, should also act on that belief. The purpose here to me,is not to condemn others, but rather to show others what Jesus showed, and is still showing through us today.Love does not boast of others sins, nor does it point,no,love revels what it truly is to others, thereby bringing them closer to who Jesus is,and how indeed to follow him daily.

If you are walking and see a man in a ditch,do you yell at him, that he should of been more careful? Or do you send him a rope to bring him out of that ditch? The Word of God is that rope here, those who are in the ditch have a right to take the rope,or remain in the ditch, but we who are above them, help,so others can also be taken up.( Psalm 40:2-5) I remember when I myself was in that very same ditch!! I am sure you do as well! With that in mind, will you stay to help? Or will you pass on by? We decide, and from what we decide,we become what indeed we truly do believe.Blessing all!

You are right, but maybe this is an opportunity to teach what the Bible do says.

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Rom 14:19

Not at all. Simply warning the younger ones in particular to not believe all things posted here.
Without a shepherd or mod standing watch there's nothing to prevent the wolves from
entering.
How do you determine who is a "wolf"? What are the criteria? How many sects are there, and which ones are right and which ones are wrong?

That was my point. This is nothing new, and I think it is baggage inherent in believing that one possesses revealed truth.

2 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?
Romans 2 1-3

be so very careful because what your preaching can be a double edge sword.

I do also believe that there is some lukewarm Christians who just go to church once a week and they think they are saved. I think that is totally wrong. Yet I dont have any authority to be judging them. In the other hand I have the authority and obligation to share the gospel of the apostles and most important of the LOVE of God and how He gave his only son to us and to be saved from sin. The hardest part would be to convince them how we still need to follow commandments mentioned in the OT because Jesus never once told us to stop following them. if its their will to ignore me then I do not think I have any other options since I cant condemn them or force them into believing. All I can do is pray that God will show them the way. I hope this makes any sense. Maybe its just gibberish to you guys..

actually its quite simple, and the simplicity is does it line up with the bible, and do they bear the fruits mentioned they would bear

yes there are many sects and factions, you can rule out quite a few simply by looking at their history, if they murdered eachother for what eachother believed, then to be sure this is BAD FRUIT and they were not abiding in the true gospel and the simple two commands of Christ

I share your frustration as many claim the name of Christ but take positions that are clearly unbiblical. As Christians we can all agree there are some disuptable passages in the Bible(and thus the reason we have different denominations - because of our various interpretations).

However there are somethings that are not gray, that are not disputable, and the Bible is crystal clear on the God's condemnation of the gay lifestyle.

While it is possible that some new baby Christians may not know what the Bible says and need to be taught - if someone is versed well in Scripture and still maintains that position that the homosexual
lifestyle is accepted by God - I have serious doubts about if that person truly has the spirit of God in them.

Please don't get me wrong - I believe it is very possible for a true Christian to struggle with homosexual tendancies...but if they are true believer they will know in their heart it is wrong.

So have you been filled with his Spirit? Baptized into his name for the remission of your sins? Do you pray in the Spirit and with your understanding also?

Do you smoke, drink, or even cuss once in awhile? Did not the Lord say... mind your business and follow me? Do you walk in holiness and depart from evil? Is there lust in your heart or some secret sin?

We don't have any right to say who is or isn't a Christian, who is or isn't saved. I think it's also important to understand that not even will instantly know everything about the Bible the moment they become a Christian. It takes time to grow and learn. It's important to share and discuss these things, and we should be doing so with saying that one person is or isn't closer to God than others.

Bottom line, don't bash people for being new and not knowing. Proverbs says that the wise are open to correction, so let's correct the "newer Christians" in a loving way.

You can't judge people from online jazz. Someone could show all the fruits of the spirit on here and be a complete jerk in person. You can't judge and it isn't our judge to. Just our job to live our lives after Christ and lead by example.

well I think this topic was not created properly and people attacking/defensive this topic because they misunderstood the purpose of the topic.

What the topic creator was trying to say is that, there are so many Christians in the lounge chat room but they merely talk about worldly things all the time rather than talk about God/Jesus. As I agree.

But the way topic creator made the topic seemed like Judging. Which is what's causing the complaint here, as others have quoted from the bible that not many will enter Heaven and people you think WILL not make it to heaven might be the last one to get in heaven and people who honour God may not enter!

I think the people who attend the forum's lounge should start discussing "make sense" and interesting topics and discussion, christian related.
All they do are sing and talk about pointless things because they are bored.

I had one user who complained about her experience in the lounge as she wasn't quite happy. Asking a question, "how can you tell who is a Christian?", as I was the only person who answered her and others constantly ignoring and chatting away.

People are so used to forum that many DON'T show respect to others.
The computer mod will say "xxx just joined @ date, please welcome him/her". And you have people constantly chatting away and not welcoming new users.
You have mic huggers who constantly sing and talk nonsense on mic.

This IS a Christian Chat which many are forgetting so let's talk about Christian Stuff.
if people want to talk about worldy things, they can do that with their friends online or real life.

One of the things I like about this site is that I finally have people who are also Christian and can discuss Christian stuff with them. I cannot discuss Christian stuff with friends because they don't believe.

Yes I can understand the people who constantly come to the lounge may get bored about discussing about Christian and would want to talk about other things. That is fine but people should try to be more hospitality and friendly. In the end lounge is a place to chill out.

*welcome people when they come in (especially new users)
*try to answer people's question and don't ignore them

The problem are just the young ones, they use the lounge to talk about worldly things, rather than use the lounge to talk about what might be a sin, how to get closer to God, world problem, if they are doing anything wrong etc

But I really don't care, if something is not good for my likings I will walk away from it.
You can never change something.

I can't edit my post.

but I just wanted to add.

Even though these people or young ones do not discuss about Christian stuff.
I am glad they are doing so...rather than being out side surrounded by non christians, atheist etc

it is good they are here because they are surrounded by other Chrisitians:)

Agreed on OP. In some ways I like other forums which go through the task of changing membership status of believers and non-believers simply to help newbies understand who is talking. Young ones can get quickly confused out here since it's just a wilderness of beliefs. At the same time others feel this causes division.

This is true and i have just recently signed up in hope to have found a true Christian site, but i was immediately let down when i read peoples comments on here and i knew either Trollers are here or people who wish to deceive others. This is a great problem because for those who wish to seek guidance are being mislead and brainwashed with the False Word of God. These people are the true enemies of Christianity for they blaspheme the faith and destruct its true word and thus mislead people to know the truth about Christ and God.
