I think it's really cute when I see old couples holding hands. It makes me think about how much they must have went through together. I hope I could be like that when I'm old.

It is a wonderful testimony to the fact that love really can last a lifetime...it's a choice and it takes dedication to each other through thick and thin :).

My parent were in their 70s when both passed away, and to the day they died, they used to hold hands walking. It was very sweet to see them go out and have picnic lunch together and walk holding hands. However, I am now married 38 years to a man who has never held my hand ever. He is not romantically minded, and does not show any affection in public, nor even in private. I have missed out on so much in my life, especially after seeing my own parents hold hands and kiss and love each other. I wish I had that in my marriage, but sadly I don't.
