Jesus was God in the flesh.
He was perfect light...their was no darkness in him at all.
Jesus had perfect understanding and was doing the will of His Father.
If you are reading your bible every day, and praying continually,
devoting your life to sharing His truth...then you can spend time with unbelievers like Jesus.
But if you are doing it out of love for your fellow man.
That can be a slippery slope...with out the Holy Spirit or being spirtually filled... like Jesus.
1 John 1:6 - 8
If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
Ephesians 5:11
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
But everything exposed by the light becomes visible,
for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
Proverbs 28:4
Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them.
1 Cor 15:33
If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus for merely human reasons, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character."
2 Cor 6:14
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
