I remember hearing brother zjed preach at my university campus and when he'd say something about going to Hell a group would sing in unison, "Your going straight to Hell" or something like that. I asked someone what that was about and he said it was from the Rocky Horror...whatever tge name was. I saw a picture ir clip from it...a dude in drag, something I have always found repulsive, and I never saw it.

If you watch it you cannot unsee it or get that time back.

I've got an oportunity to go see the rocky picture horror show, has anyone actually seen this, being into trashy cult films this is one Ive thought about watching. However from what I hear from some people is that aside from being a drag show, it's riddled with innuendoes and nudity. Is it like some like it "Some like it Hot level" or is it more like Austin Powers/simpsons level inappropriate?
My friends took me to see it in the 80s. I was agnostic back then. At first I thought it was just weird but the people in the movie theatre acting out all the scenes was interesting. We went a few more times and I think by the third time I thought it was funny and entertaining and laughed at all the people acting out the scenes and getting sprayed with water during that one part. It was a fun way for my friends and I to spend a saturday night after a week of work and school.

No thanks
just seemed like a campy 2 hour version of Michael Jacksons thriller I never got why ppl were into stuff like that. MJ turned out to be a paedophile and was thrown out of HIS cult the JWs.

Apparently was big in the 80s along with all the other gender bending freak shows.

I do remember seeing Little Shop of Horrors on tv though.

though you gotta ask yourself as a christian...do you still want to be an idolator? Why are you into trashy cult films? Does it please God?

by trashy cult films, I mean stuff like Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, Star wars Holiday Special, Bad Golf made easier, and other relatively tame movies known for being lousy.

A cult film, also commonly referred to as a cult classic, is a film with a cult following, obscure or unpopular with mainstream audiences, and often revolutionary or ironically enjoyed.[1] Sometimes, the definition is expanded to exclude films that have been released by major studios or have big budgets, Wikipedia

Posted for those who might think "Cult film" Refers to something pagan. Oh and I decided not to bother seeing it. The screening is over anyway. Some movies like song of the south get a reputation that they don't deserve, but I'll take the word of the few people here who have seen this one and stop thinking about it.

oh ok

What is the Sound of Music then, is that 'cult' ? Or Titanic.

Though I guess they were popular. The unpopular movies I dont know, would have gone straight to video/dvd/streaming?

I'm more picky with my horror movies. I feel all media in moderation can be educative. I'm someone who would keep an open mind when it comes to movies. Entertaining horror is something I avoid. I go for feel good movies. A little action and adventure, fantasy. I haven't heard of this one. I doubt I'd probably go for watching it even from the Title name. The first thing that came to my mind were the Rocky films. Those are timeless classics. I love those movies.

LOL, the RHPS is in no way a "horror" movie. It's about a normal young couple getting seduced and corrupted by a bunch of perverted freaks.

unless there's some special cut of those films, I wouldn't class them as such.

It's a homosexual hang out....

Not my cup of tea whatsoever....there's more than enough perversion with the rest of the world I don't want to pay to see it.

I saw it before I started walking with the Lord. Not for believers. Absolutely against everything the Bible teaches as virtue.
