Covid19 only deaths does not give us an accurate assessment of the deaths that resulted from the effects of the virus.
And if you want to go strictly by established protocol, it should always be deaths per 100,000 of the population. So lets divide 18,000 by 330,000,000 (330 million). So that number is 0.00005454545. Now let's multiply that by 100,000 and what do we get?
That is 5.5 deaths/ 100,000. But for seasonal flus it is avg 19.5 deaths/100,000.
