He meant it as a personal attack to belittle me.
You could have given him the benefit of the doubt. Wouldn't it have been kinder to have just said "I'd prefer not to discuss it"?

He has attacked me numerous times on other threads. I assumed this was another. Let's see if he bothers to reply.

Dude, that's a little harsh. Utah just asked a simple question. It was up to you to answer or not, and you chose to answer with a snarky response, not only once, but twice. I doubt Utah thinks he is better than you, or anyone. I haven't seen where he's even said that in his response. As far as falling on hard times, well we ALL have at one time or another. Even Utah. So who is acting un-christianlike right now? It's certainly not Utah. Just an observation. :)

Or perhaps I'm not as fortunate as you to have never fallen upon hard times and needed assistance. Does it make you feel good knowing you're better than me now? How Christian of you

You don't think or you know? there is a big difference.
I said I don't think clearly that states that I do not know I have seen these two back and forth in many other threads so I am unable to speak for the tone or thoughts of Utah at the time of his post. I am just saying if it was a personal attack he could have said much more then just ask why..

How do you know that? Are you a mind reader now? He asked a simple question, which required a simple answer. You responded with attitude and assumption. Like others have said, I know the two of you don't get along, but I honestly don't think he said it to belittle you.

I agree with you he has disagreed with you on many issues but they have to do with politics and such not this kind of topic.. I do not see him as being that stinky of a person to be that mean and belittle you for something like this though.

How boit that's one of your business.
You posted it on an open forum; that makes it my business. You've fallen on hard times? You'd have gotten a job long ago if you spent half as much time looking for work as you do attacking conservatives on CC and Facebook. Move to New Jersey; I'll get you work starting at 40K a year plus benefits. The ball's in your court.

Personally I think Utah is a fairly straight-shooting, no-nonsense, kind of guy. He tells things like they are, keeps stuff real. :)

I have connections in the medical field, the warehouse industry, FedEx and the post office. Work is abundant in NJ and I can get Dude and his wife work.

Dude653, I know the disappointment when a loved one can't be there for the holidays. I was upset about my own brother a few nights ago. He's no longer with us, but when he was here he was in the service, so there were several years of him not being home for the holidays and my family missing him. When I was crying, the Holy Spirit reminded me of this verse: Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." I hope it comforts you too.

And I hope your brother can come around for New Year's :)

There are many people on CC that can help each other. We're a resource to help each other in many ways.
