This world is a mess it is only getting worse God is on my side

I try not to look at the evil in the world. If we focus on the evil we will lose site on what we are really here for. Aren't we suppose to be the light of the world? I know I would like to do more for my local area and be a shoulder for a teenager who is being bullied, or volunteer to take a kid out on the weekends; things like that. There is a lot that we can do as Christians that doesn't make us travel across the world. Look locally and get involved with something so we can spread the Word of God and let people know we are here and are willing to listen without condemning them. Just my thoughts and I am in need to to what I am saying as well.

:eek:i'm with you, i find bullying as an oppression. i'd rather kill oppression rather than seing people suffering specially those children which is not suppose to be experiencing such things

the difference between now and then - TRUST! We trusted people - you could leave your cars and houses unlocked at night and let your kids play outside - you didn't worry! You trusted! Now - well you know what is going on now. I fear this is not the worse that will happen. I rest in Christ that He will protect me as well as all His children. Soon He will call us for the wedding!

Actually, life is way more peaceful now than it was. It's just that now you hear about it as soon as someone spits at the other side of the planet.

Step out strong in your faith daily. Try not to allow the evil of this world steal your joy, for is they succeed in stealing your joy and replacing it with fear, they win......
