Have you ever wondered just how powerful God's word is? I mean, it's just a book, right? What can it do?


Well, Hebrews 4:12 says:


For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.


When it says it cuts between soul and spirit, it means that the Bible reveals what is deep inside us, both good and bad. It's living and life-changing as it works in us and as we allow it to shape us. So really, if you want to find out about yourself, if you want to find out about the God who loves you...look to the Bible.

Yes I have actually. What is the bible to us anyway? A book? scripture? a guide as a believer? or is it something much more?
Humans cannot even begin to understand the power that is in the bible. There is such power flowing through those pages a fire and love of God that few seem to have access to. There is more power in a single scripture than a nuke. The bible is the breathing living word of God but more than that it's his heart. when you hold the bible in your hands you are holding the very heart of God and I am not using a metaphor I am not talking about spiritually I mean you are literally holding the beating heart of God himself. and just as it always has been his heart has been mistreated, just as it has been from the very beginning of creation.

That is probably one of my favorite scriptures in the bible.. The Lords knows the intent of the Heart & He see's our true motives behind everything we say think & do. It makes me aware that our Lord knows us so intimately. We serve a mighty awesome God who is infinite all powerful, yet He loves us with an everlasting Love.
