Why do children have to leave their parents' homes when they are 18?

I have quoted your pm to me, and I agree with you that God needs to be number 1, and that it is OK if the kids live with the parents.

Not for Asian cultures, especially in my country.

I'm blessed to be an Asian so I could stay with my parents as long as I could, until marriage.

Plus, the real estate rate in Hong Kong is extremely high that young people usually cannot afford living alone by paying 1000USD per month for a small bedroom only.

I am sorry Sister my post cut me off and I was not able to finish it . that was not all I was writing. Everything points to the greatest commandment and yes you can stay home. The only point is we are not to love anyone more then God and as Philippians 2:3-4 we are even to lift others up above ourselves and look out for one another 's interest , not being selfish in this world if you read Philippians 2:2-8 ....Unity Through Humility.

I still live
with mom and grandma
but I'm eighteen!
I'm not married and I don't have a boyfriend.
Mom tolerates me, she loves me.
