You can believe whatever you choose to believe. Christ never rebuked anyone for just war. I dislike that people try to separate the "angry" OT God from the all love pacifist, socialist NT Jesus. People act like Christ disagreed with the Father.smh They are one and the same, they are in perfect agreement. Wars have to be fought. If you think every soldier that defends our freedoms every day is immoral, you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the Bible.

Of course they are One and the same Jesus is LORD.. And when Jesus return He will smite the army of the Beast on the plains of meggedo at the battle of Armageddon.. But that is AFTER the age of grace has ended.. That"s After all those who will be saved by the Atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ will have been saved..

During the Age of Grace which we now live in we should reflect the mercy and love of the LORD Jesus to all peoples.. Those who defend their lives in this carnal sinful state of being will lose their lives, Those who out of love for their enemies chose to forfeit their lives in this world will save their lives in eternity..

35 "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it."

When ever a supposed Christian kills an unbeliever in war where does that unbeliever end up in eternity???? That"s right the eternal lake of fire..

When ever an unbeliever kills a Christian in war where does that Christian end up in eternity???? That's right with God in His perfect eternal existence..

A pacifist believes if prayer or peaceful action doesn't work then if Hitler had took over the world and killed off all the Jews, Christians, gypsies etc. Then that would of been the will of God to have allowed that happen.

I cant imagine telling my wife and kids. Hey if we get robbed just to for warn you, your on your on. Sorry I will not protect you because I love the intruder more than you.

Hitler would never have had a chance of conquering the world if the German people where true to the teachings of Jesus and had Jesus as their King of Kings.. Sadly they decided that Hitler was their king and followed him to their destruction.. God is well able to destroy one group of evil people with another,, smashing their heads together by bringing them against each other.. Millions of nazi stormtroopers died by the hands of the communist athiest anti-christ of the Soviet Union and millions of those same communist atheists where smashed by the Nazi SS..

So The evil ones are often destroyed by other evil ones on this planet and God is well able to preserve His adopted Children.. And if God so wills it that His adopted Children should die for His Word, then so be it.. His Children have eternal Victory through their Messiah Jesus.. Life and death in this world is of no eternal consequence for those who have eternity with God..

So your saying all the brave men who fought against the evil of Hitler was also evil themselves?

Of course God's will, will be done even if the righteous was to respond. They would lose if its wasn't his will. But often times they win so I could use the same reasoning and say God's will could of just as much of moved through the side that won. WW2 having a large percentage of Christians who fought and won and many many lives was defended.

They ""defended" corrupted flesh lives who all end up dying anyway and in the process killed many hundreds of thousands of unsaved people.... Is that good? No that's not good.. Where there is life there is hope for the lost.. But once your kill the lost then what is their destiny? Yes that's right Hell and the Lake of Fire..

But of the millions saved also had the chance to find Jesus including the generations that lived through them.
