I have read the post, and I do not believe Utah is preying on a teenaged girl. I think Utah's problem is he assumed 16 year old females are always the same in this area as 16 year old males.

I don't think he was preying on her, but it was incredibly stupid for him to say what he said, and it's terribly irritating hearing people support what he said.

I think the current outrage is over of what Utah said to a 16 year old. A man that doesn't know a teenager should not be talking to her about her experiences down the road. That is beyond inappropriate. That is not his place. Some can even think borderline predatory. Do you really think a police officer would be okay with that?

I know Utah isn't preying on minors. I said saying something like can across as predatory. Intentionally preying is different than saying something that can come across as predatory.

But Utah responded to her post, telling that to her though. He didn't jut say that as a random comment. It was directed towards her. That is where the concern is coming from. The perception of a grown man talking directly to a minor about a type of sexual relief doesn't fit too well in the common eye.

Those last two questions are something you'd have to ask a mod. I have no idea why they allow it.

No one said he was. I said it comes across as it. Big difference. He didn't maliciously do it. But you can still do something and it can come out a certain way, intentionally or unintentionally. That was the point.
