Those are the best cowbells ever to play. LOL
I knew that! Wait, I can't lie. I had no idea. But what would be better than an LP cowbell solo album on LP?

I just realized how lost I am. Okay so there is no LP brand cowbell you were referring to the gloom and despair cowbell. How do you get such a cowbell?

You purchase said Latin Percussion cowbell & use it in Goth music. Of course, one must be wearing all black, smelling of either dead leaves and/or patchouli and have a job @ Hot Topic. Sheesh dude..how long have you been into music?? Duh! LOL

Too long? I saw a Goth band once. Not my choice. I was at a Toxic Narcotic show. It was a basement show and they did a goth show before. So I went down early and it was some band. They had insence sticks burning on stage and the female singer was singing and occasionally twitching or convulsing like she...I don't know maybe she had a condition I wasn't aware of. Anyway, not my scene.

This is why you should just listen to Metal & renounce your wicked ways.LOL

Wow, I go to see one movie and come back to find my bass playing thread tainted by cowbells, and Lord knows what else. I don't use subwoofers. Orange amps are the best amps. And if you're not talking Geddy Lee, Flea, John Paul Jones, or Les Claypool you can get out! And, an 8-string bass? Really? Why? I'll admit I was interested in them up until I read reviews were players said their main purpose for the 8-string was to substitute their guitarists...*sigh*...I will say this once...
A BASS IS NOT A GUITAR!!!

Okay, cool. I knew one guy who used a sub. Then one gig it was busted. They played and I couldn't even tell the difference. I've never played on an orange amp. Those are all rad bass players dude. As a guitar player I was offended when people started playing 7 stringers. Now everyne drop tunes a full step and hammers their bar chords with one finger etc... if I drop tune everything on a six string and if I want to balst out some fast power chords do it like you should. This is my way not the right way, just how I feel. So yeah, I've taken your thread on and off topic all in the same comment.

I'm not too much of a fan of dropped tunings either. Of course I learn to deal with it just because it's a fact of life as a metalhead. So when I go to try to hash out a heavier song, I just play the higher tones. The major thing that drives me insane about guitar players is the capo. I learned to play, and sometimes (not often) still use chord charts, and if there is a Capo on third fret, they'll have the entire chords written out in the key that caters to the one guitarist who uses a capo, the rest of us suffer and have to hash it out on our own...jerks.

I will say Horde is the punkest metal band or black metal band ever. Yes, that is a compliment.
