I'm not able to get embedded media to work for some reason but anyway I have met this young lady a couple times and she is a great woman of God. The message behind this particular track is that we should not look to material things to bring us fulfillment and happiness

Youtube Link: Kingdom Muzic - Recreated

This is a real and amazing song about Jesus as the redeemer and healer. <3 It is always better when the singer actually came from the opposite lifestyle (in a gang in the projects) and Jesus saved him and many in his crew.

Before some of you come here posting about how you don't think rap is from God, let me give you some background about where each and every one of these rap artists came from. I have had the honor to meet 2 out of 3 of them. They all came from the streets of some of the worst ghettos in California. Some came out of gangs, some where drug dealers, etc, and some have even murdered others in the past, but they got radically saved by Jesus and want to use their talent to bring people to Jesus. So please please, don't come judging them. You have no idea the hell they lived before coming to Christ. They are true heroes going after the lost in the worst parts of cities that many of us aren't even willing to go to.

Hi There,
I attended a local Creation fest , ( Christian music festival) with my daughter. I was a dancer and so I love music and beats but I was never into rap music. We were in a tent watching the Scott Cunningham Band, if anyone has heard of him.... pretty good. The next band that was due on stage was a rap band from London. Loads of them, all dressed in the London rap seen attire and My daughter wanted to stay to watch it so we did. I was a little apprehensive.
Oh my hat! It was a....mazing. No , it was sha....mazing. The lyrics were all bible based, preaching the gospel, the Truth. The beat pumped out those words, right into my heart. So powerful. It made me realise that I can never put God into a box, certainly not an old fashioned , dusty old box that I have had since the 80's along with Amy Grant El Shaddai and my Best of Graham Kendrick Cd's . God does move into the places where he can reach people. He loves the youth as much as the oldies and he can use any genre. Never be too afraid to venture into the new places because if the holy spirit is there, God is moving. I think, like all bands, good ones, it is good to see live.
I love Tobymac music atm

Hard for me not to post these guys in any rap thread. They don't conform to the modern hyped up, club/dance, just drank a red bull, annoying vocal effects type of rap, though.

love these guys

I don't want to be a dud, but I don't even like to listen to christian music on the radio, because it sounds just like the world.
I may as well be listening to Justin Timberlake or Niki Manaj.

This is a really creative Christian rapper I found through this guy on YouTube called Josh Keefe. He made a video titled "The Problem with Christian Music" which points out the problem of lack of creativity in our music. He shared a Spotify playlist that had a lot of creative Christian artists from various genres. You may check it out if you want to add some more creative spice to your playlists.
