I have found the Christian world to be decidedly weak in the realm of music -- over the past several decades, anyway. It has been particularly weak in one of my favorite genres, post-punk / new wave / alternative. There've been a few bands, but few of those impressed me. The 77s, Altar Boys, The Choir(?), The Crazed Bunnies, etc., did little for me. However, there've been about three I can think of that I feel are genuinely good within their respective styles.

* Mad at the World (Started out in 1987; still producing stuff I believe; style ranges from Erasure-like synths to Sisters of Mercy deep vocals and guitars)

* Declaration (almost a stylistic answer to Depeche Mode, but this guy, I think, is a one-man show; my favorite song is "Welcome Home").

* Pat Nobody (punk, plain and simple; fast, loud, obnoxious; perfect).
