Hello,
does anyone have any recommendations for educational Christian music?

I like all types of music but generally dislike the type of heavy metal where they scream and I also don't find myself liking much rap. Other than that though I can like most music. The most important thing is that it teaches me about Christianity rather than the type of music I most enjoy.

You can go to youtube, and call up praise and worship music, and just listen. Ones with the words in subtitles work even better. Or page through any of the old hymnals. We used to have a saying about church music when I was a kid: "lex orandi est lex credendi" (you can tell I was kid in the Latin Catholic Church), meaning "what we pray in church is what we believe". It's still true for church music.

i am not really a fan of rap music either...but this one rap song is -very- educational...
