Please be nice to me. And look, I haven't listened to or thought about rap in a long time, really, so my username is stupid, and I'm just now figuring it out.
I don't understand, was someone being mean to you? I'm just asking if you could re-check the url because I reeeeally want to hear your music! And everything I said about the anonymity was honest.

Your username isn't stupid either! =)

This is OP. I am not releasing my music any longer via the internet.

I respect your decision but can I ask why?
1 Timothy 2:8-10 (NIV)
Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. [SUP]9 [/SUP]I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, [SUP]10 [/SUP]but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.

I read that and I got to thinkin'... about humility, obviously one big precept in the Bible. I think just about mass-media anything isn't very humble, I think. I had those arguments I posted trying to justify releasing my tunes. But music speaks to people, in a personal way, and I don't want to speak to someone wrongly, which would happen if many people started listening, even one, potentially. My argument about someone fashioning a club out of a tree branch, well, it's not the tree branch speaking to them it's their heart seeking out the weapon - not the same kind of situation as with music. The music is speaking to the person and their heart is responding.

I was not in the best state of mind when I started thinking about all of this to begin with, which was my fault. But now, I see more clearly.

For me, christian music really help believers to grow in their relationship with the Lord. As we fill our minds with music that encourages us to worship God, we begin to give thanks to all that He has done for us.

I have no problem with Christian music, but I don't think it needs to be out there in a mass-media kind of way. There are tons of people who have a terrible relationship with God due to abuse, neglect, a lot of reasons. Then, this music is played on the radio or youtube or whatever, and what if they hear it? They're going to have a bad reaction, more than likely. It's so impersonal to put this stuff out there like that. If you're going to perform for an audience, I believe for it to be proper, you really have to know your audience. All these songs of praise and joy really mock the people who don't know God; that's what I think.

Maybe it's okay as long as you're not putting it in someone's face.
