If you would like some sound advise on what to listen to please get this booklet, it is a must read for Christian understanding of what music is exceptable to the LORD.

I like Downhere. If you haven't listened to them, do so. They are incredible. I had the opportunity to hang with them in Nashville last year and it was an incredible experience.

Your lucky because there is a ton in Christian music right now that sounds similar to both of those.

Tenth Avenue North, Sidewalk Prophets, Jeremy Camp, Mercy Me, Big Daddy Weave, Toby Mac...These I don't really listen to, but they do sound similar to what you mentioned.

Bands I do listen to regularly that are slightly different you may still like: Third Day, NeedtoBreathe, Dara Maclean.

If you're looking for good worship music you'll definitely want to check out Jesus Culture.

Francesca Batistelli is good! JJ Heller is another. Um... good ol' Southern Gospel music/ melodious instrumental Christian Hymns are also very nice to listen to, especially for quiet times with the Lord. :)

Love Keith Green, don't know if I would call him pop though...Christian oldies maybe?

Also, I'll do another plug for JJ Heller, she is amazing.

Try these (I know some have been mentioned already):

Jars of Clay, Third Day, NEEDTOBREATHE, Sidewalk Prophets, Bebo Norman, Chris August, Downhere, Leeland, Josh Wilson, Brandon Heath.

Of course you can check out songs by all on youtube, but if you like it and can afford it then buy it! Support the artists. :)

I had the same issue so I started a Pandora channel with my favorite Christian song and I jam to it all the time. I just thumb down anything that comes on I don't like and I really stumbled across cool stuff I never would have found. It's free.
