Ok, i'm in the right mood to -> listen to some nice jazz.
Does anyone know any good (ch/not ch) band that plays melodic modern jazz?

I dont know of any bands like that Jola but I appreciate that you appreciate Melodic sounds :). Do you listen to Melodic Metal as well?

George Gershwin (Gershwin is more of a bridge between classical and jazz, but you can hear blue influences in his work)

That was a pretty cool song. I guess I'm into the 80's style of melodic stuff like Metallica.

Haha yes! :) Some call it elevator music. I call it windows of the soul. :) I like everything from old 70's love songs to metal, jazz, Katy Perry and LMFAO lol.
