Wow, been a long time since i sat and really paid attention to Acquiesce. I remember it always being a powerful song lyrically, but seeing the words again that song really kicked my butt. I find it humbling and worshipful at the same time. Amazing stuff.

Wow, a Stavesacre thread. They were excellent. Absolutes is easily their finest all-round record, imo. Hardcore.

Great songs, zao. I saw them perform in Denver back in the day.

I wasn't too crazy about the musical direction they took as the years progressed, but they still produced a few jewels on their later records.

I loved pretty much the whole speakeasy album. Gold and Silver pretty much described the year I had last year, and Free Fall (From Hand to Hand) was probably my favorite.
