Dear readers
It is my pleasure to see you reading and learning from this message,
We should have a very deep relationship with Jesus. Jesus can appear to any of you and you can have a face to face communication to Jesus through a vision and a dream.
Religious people say, we are holy and righteous yet they are the opposite. We should know that we are nothing without the grace of God. My righteousness is like a filthy rag. But we must live in holiness! That is what God wants us to live, a life of holiness. How is that possible?

Jesus can clean us from every kind of unclean and evil thing in us. We should repent daily and start to obey to his word. Jesus can help us to be clean. That is the work of Grace and faith. Not our work. Seeking his grace shouldn't be regarded as our work because even to seek God requires his grace. behind our Passion and intimacy there is the help of God. Don't you know that Pharaoh's heart was made like a stone? So it's by grace that we can be able to live in holiness. All of our prayers, bible study and others must be applied to all these as a way of seeking Gods face and his wisdom. It's the work of God to make us holy. Our responsibility is to seek his kingdom and his righteousness, to obey to Gods word, loving our father, God and to love one another. Matthew 6:33-Matthew 6:33 But seek ye firstthe kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. We should also seek the face of the Lord like Moses. How many of us are crying to see his face? How many of us are hungry? How many of us are in a deep relationship with the Lord? This is a question we need to ask ourselves. How much am I seeking his face? Am I obedient to his word?... In every way of truth we should get ready so that God will save us from the coming days of pain and tribulation. We should be a part of those who seek the face of Jesus, he wants to show us his face. God didn't delay, we delayed because of our weaknesses. The grace of God is available to all of us and his by grace will we receive strength. Have faith in God and never rely on your own strength. Repent and be converted and produce the fruits of the spirit. And live in holiness with out which no one can be able to see the Lord.

What are you passing through today? Pain, affliction, persecution, addiction, loneliness? Ask for the grace of God and despite the rain and snow follow God by having faith in him. Repent of your sins and start to live a holy life. Seek God, cry out and with tears and weeping seek his kingdom and his righteousness. Freedom from all sin and bondage is available to all of us today. God loves us and we must obey to his word to show him that we also love him.

Dear brothers and sisters, I am not worthy of all these and I will pray that God will help me in all these walks of life. I am not worthy, yet Jesus died for me. He did great things in my life. He healed me of many diseases and sicknesses. He made me well and alive. He set me free from every sin and bondage. He helped me to seek his face. I am a sinner and unworthy to stand in the house of God by my will, everything is by his grace. I am like a dust, unworthy to step around the shoes of Jesus. If he did it for me, he will do it for you. This is my testimony.
Be wise, watch and pray for the time is near.

No, here, the Lord is singing 'with raging anger and consuming fire' & accompanied by 'cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail'

You're dang right God can and does act that way. He's a warrior.

And as I pointed out earlier, when the psalmist said praise God with the trumpet, he meant a ram's horn, and a ram's horn is a loud instrument that is not at all calm.

Good topic. I too think the churches have been infiltrated with the devil's music. As a wise, older sister said earlier in the thread, she remembered this starting in the '60s, and worsening from then. I used to think that music was neutral, and it was only the words that mattered. I know better now. Music can be good or evil, just as the words can be.

I'm not sure if all Christian rock music is evil, but I think a lot of the music we use in church to glorify the King of Kings is inadequate, or demeaning. We don't sing (at church) to feel good, or to preach the gospel - we sing to worship the Lord of Lords. I like hymns because the music is (usually) dignified and wholesome, and often, the words are rich in meaning, good doctrine and the glorifying of God our Saviour. I generally don't like contemporary Christian music, or Christian rock, because the music is often inappropriate for God, it focuses on satisfying the feeling of the worshippers rather than the Worshipped, the words are often repetitive, poor in meaning, theologically unsound and with little depth.

I'm not saying its a sin to use such music in church, but I think some music is unprofitable, and I believe the bulk (not all) of today's "Christian" music fits into this category.

our church sings "God's not dead" by the newsboys fairly often.

overall it's a good song, but there is one verse i can never bring myself to sing -

".. my faith is dead, i need a resurrection somehow
now i'm lost in your freedom
and this world i'll overcome.. "

even if my faith is weak, i'm not about to shout out to the Lord "my faith is dead" in the middle of the congregation - especially not with the joyous tempo of the song =p

and this world -- it's definitely not me that overcomes it.

like married_richenbrachen says above, there's no doubt that the church is apostate in many ways, that much "sold" to the brothers and sisters as gospel is a twisted version of it or far from it at all, but it's no reason to condemn an electric guitar or a drum machine. it's also very true that in many cases the sound of the music is put before the message of it - that door swings in both directions, in the context of this thread.

IMO there's been a lot of misplaced righteous indignation floating around in here; i've been party to it too =o

Seeking to walk like Jesus everyday. Seeking his face. Hunger and thirst for righteousness. Struggling to touch his garment by faith..! Coming to Jesus with a lot of thirst and hunger. developing a deep love for the Lord. Passionate. --- This is what's very important.

His bride will marry Jesus Christ. When his brides get raptured ( caught up) in the sky and many other people will be left behind. Because his bride has fallen in love with him and has chosen to marry him and is not married to the world. I tell you, if you're his bride, you'll not look back as long as you're a bride. Those who look back are not worthy. --- Bride has fallen in love. A deep intimacy, a deep relationship with the Lord. An eternal love covenant. Thirsty and hungry. Great love for the Lord. Worship in spirit and truth. Forgetting about everything in this world, forgeting about ones self and totally surrender to the Lord. Living for him. WOW!

Religious church - religious people say I'm holy --- yet they are not. If we be holy, let our relationship with the Lord prove it. Can we see the Lord? Let it speak for us. Do not speak for yourself please. You're here by grace and mercy of the Lord if you really are here in the house of God. I'm here by grace and mercy as well.

Worried? Got nothing to say about what music you should listen to? Got no idea about which Church to go and how to live?? Jesus is the answer. Start spending time with him. More time than ever. To the extent that you fall in love with him and break up with the world. At that point you'll know what belongs to the world and what belongs to Jesus. That's it!

WOW! What a precious lord we serve. It's a blessing to escape out of hell just by having a deep intimacy with Jesus and totally being separated from sin and the whole worldly thing. --- Living for Gods will. 1. Christian Raps, Christian Rocks, Christian Harlem Shake, and other secular musics are being promoted in the Church and people are calling it freedom in the house of God and those who reject it are known as "Religious", sometimes they even compare us to the Pharisees.
2. Most preachers have nothing to preach but Prosperity Gospel not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Wait wait, i'll explain it to you!
3. Tattoos, Piercings, Worldly Hair Cuts that represent the styles of the world.
4. Sexual sin is being promoted into the Church and most of todays Church members think that they're saved and they are still in sexual sin. We can see people kissing, Lesbians Kissing in the TV and it's been a long time ago that we've started to see sexual sin in Christian films. No matter what you think!
5. Spiritual Guidance from God is taken as a hallucination and lie. When some one tells that he/she had a vision and it's true people do not want to listen. People do not want to go to Churches where demons are cast out and casting out demons has been a past tense story, specially in USA. People are sitting in the Church having demons of Porn, Adultery, Lust, Secular Music and they don't feel like they've done wrong.
6. No one is preaching the coming of the messiah and no one tells people to repent. Everyone speaks about prosperity, money, nice christian rappers and so on. Where is holiness? Where is obedience being practiced? Where is seeking the Kingdom of Heaven?
7. The most funny part of these deceptions is that Pastors preach that no one can be holy and no one can ever stop being a sinner. If then why did Jesus Christ die for us? Know that not every Christians will go to heaven but only the ones who are made holy, sanctified and those who have the righteousness of God. No matter what you convince yourself the God said Leviticus 19:2 - Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God [am] holy. And who is the one to speak against God's word? But this doesn't mean we have no sin! We have to be holy and live in righteousness yet we have sin & that is why we repent.
8. Ministers misinterpret the mercy and grace of God telling people that they can sin small small once again and it's ok because God is merciful and his grace is free. What? No one can understand the false doctrine, it takes the voice of God to discern! We are humans and we can't discern by this small brain but we need the armour of God and to ask God everything we need to ask him.
All these deceptions appear in todays Church. And I know that many people get angry with my post and I've nothing to do but to tell you all the truth. Here go I explain why prosperity Gospel is wrong! Do you love money? If no, you should know that God is your provider and do not worry about any complex way of getting money rather obey what the Lord tells you to do. For whatever a man sows, he will reap. And know that there is no time to run seeking for money or prosperity! People are going to hell while Pastors preach prosperity doctrines and they've forgotten holiness and obedience to the word of the Lord. Remember Matthew 7:22 and you'll know what I'm talking about. There are many ministers who are addicted to secret alcohols, pornography, adultery and so on. They preach well and they may even do miracles in the name of Jesus but remember, that is Just a gift it's not holiness. A gift is given for free not because you're a righteous person or not. The greatest gift man can have is the gift of being the son of God and that's heaven gain. Matthew 7:22 -Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. If these people really did not know what they have been doing we have the responsibility to allow them to come to the Right Gospel of Jesus Christ and let them come to know the real Jesus Christ. I said this because I can see the Church is blinded. But woe to those who already know this and did not repent. We have to repent daily, every time we kneel down and every time we pray in the spirit.

this long ? By people learning about Christ and His suffering for our
salvation. It was slow, the words went deeply into our spirit. I

can tell you it is the MEAT of the Cross and Salvation. All other
today, IMO, is just dessert. God does not change to fit man,
Man changes to serve God. Good topics. One day we will stand

The bible shows us how the luxury of Babylon wasn't a good thing. Church, don't forget the love of old. Now your love has turned to the beats of the music and the love of old is not there.
KJV is a royal bible. Violin and Viola and ciello are royal instruments that we should use them to worship. Heavenly can be royal in a heavenly standard. Worldly can be from the pit of hell as well. This is one of the verses that are a warning to one or more of the end time Church

Revelation 2: 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen , and repent , and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent .

A good choice is to do the first works.

The Words to Petra are beautiful. However the beat of the music
takes away from the meaning. Now if you can find that song with a
toned down beat I think it would be truly inspirational.

The Revelation song. Awesome. The message of worship is very clear.
Our hearts can feel the holiness of or Lord ~

The total difference IMO, for me, the blaring loud sound drowning out
the message. I feel satan gets a thrill knowing he is taking away the
beautiful message of Christ.
