I was just reading in Psalms that God hates evil doers.

If its good enough for God, its good enough for me.

When you look at the problem of healthcare cost alone, you'll find that there is one factor driving the cost increase. The demand for healthcare services far exceeds the availability of healthcare services. Until we resolve this problem, the cost will continue to rise. How does Obamacare or Trumpcare address this issue?

In part, yes. Another reason is ILLEGALS coming here and using hospital emergency departments as their doctor's office and not paying ANYTHING. And someone has to pick up the tab.

The vote is tomorrow. Let's take a brief look at what we were promised and what we may get:

Trump promised it would cover everyone. Reality, up to 24 million people will LOSE coverage

Trump promised it will be less expensive. Truth is, unless you're filthy rich it will cost you more.

Trump promised to repeal the ACA. What we would get is 'ACA light'

Trump promised to control pharmaceutical prices. The plan says nothing about it.

Trump promised to sell insurance across state lines. Reality - "later gator".

That's just the highlights.
Would you please be willing to share where you found all of this? All I found for promises was in Trump's book.
First of all, we cannot cut either Social Security or Medicare benefits. That's off the table. Those programs can be saved by growing the economy... We need to get rid of those lines and let people cross state lines to purchase the best plan for them.
I have also read that the selling across lines will be implemented in this plan. Where did you find what is proposed in the bill?

I went to the emergency room with a sodium hydroxide burn. Fortunately it was a work injury so I didn't have to pay the bill.... they took me to a shower room, sprayed me off and sent me home. $700 ...

President Trump said he would repeal and replace Obama care and we would win so much that we would get tired of winning.

I see now what they mean when they say we shouldn't take what he says literally but take It figuratively,It was just his way of winning, but his chances were good anyway because the people voted him In because they were tired of politics, politicians making promises they don't keep.

And he's proven himself to be no different. Sell us on one thing, deliver something completely opposite. Like I said all last year, when we get tired of this we will rally behind a third party candidate.

So sad that the Freedom Caucus did not get their act together and support the American Healthcare Act. Which would have kept Medicaid, Medicare, defunded Planned Parenthood (Murderhood), etc. Shame on them! There are times when being against something can be beneficial, but when you have a president like Donald Trump who is at least sympathetic to the conservative cause and they don't help him out, it reflects badly on the conservative base.

How come you and all other liberal demonics fail to mention that Saul Alinsky's, Rules For Radicals, is in honor of Satan? He gives a big shout out to your lord but you guys are quiet about it because you're trying to implement the enemy's tactics. And you wonder why I hate liberals. I pray for your dumb mules to be saved, but I hate you nonetheless.

As usual, forum right wingers openly display their pride in their hate and in their ignorance. Contrary to their views, Alinsky is not associated with Obama politically but, instead, and his associated with right wingers such as the Tea Party:

https://www.caseyresearch.com/articles/saul-alinsky-founder-of-the-tea-party

"Conservative firebrand, former Republican House Majority Leader Dick Armey, is said to give out copies of Rules for Radicals to Tea Party leaders."

Note that the source for this information is CONSERVATIVE.

How many people die every year from alcohol?... worldwide is probably in the Millions....... how many people died from weed.... to my knowledge, zero
Marijuana is getting stronger. The levels of delta-9 thc have multiplied
from less than 1 percent in the mid-1970s to more than 6 percent.

Today, youths and even adults say that marijuana is basically harmless—if not
glamorous, like it is portrayed in entertainment—or even medically beneficial.
The real extent of marijuana use is unknown, but it is chronic and widespread.

The Facts

People have grown the Indian hemp plant for use as a hallucinogen for more than 2,000 years.
The name comes from the Portuguese maringuango, meaning “intoxicant.” Drugs extracted from
the Indian hemp are collectively called cannabis, and all forms of cannabis are hallucinogenic.

The plant contains more than 400 known chemicals, many of which are toxic to the human body.

Many people claim that cannabis is a comparatively benign natural herb—less harmful than
alcohol or tobacco. Yet it contains many of the same cancer-causing chemicals found in tobacco.
The amount of tar and carbon-monoxide inhaled by those who smoke marijuana is three to five
times greater than among tobacco smokers, regardless of thc content. And unlike alcohol, where
the ethanol is eliminated within a few hours, marijuana residues can stay in the body for weeks.

Marijuana use can also seriously damage respiratory and cardiovascular health, causing chronic
coughing, wheezing and bronchitis. Smoking a relatively small amount of marijuana has a similar
impact to smoking five to seven times that amount in cigarettes, one after another.

And there is no denying that cannabis affects the mind—that is its purpose. This has been directly
linked to health, safety, social, behavioral and academic problems. The drug can affect concentration,
attention and learning for up to 24 hours. A University of Iowa study showed that people who used
marijuana frequently exhibited deficits in mathematical skills and verbal expression.

They also showed impairments in memory-retrieval and mental aptitudes. Animals given
marijuana in scientific studies have suffered structural damage to the brain.

Like other hallucinogens, cannabis disrupts the flow of chemical neurotransmitters.
Its use can lead to increased anxiety, panic attacks, depression and other mental health issues.

One study showed that children ages 12 to 17 who smoke marijuana weekly are three times more
likely to have suicidal thoughts than non-users. Recent research showed how the risk of major
depression quadruples through cannabis use. Swedish scientists have also found a link between
marijuana use and an increased risk of developing schizophrenia.

Long term, the cannabis user risks triple the likelihood of illicit drug abuse or dependence, poor job
and academic performance, cognitive deficits, lung damage, lesions to the brain and other brain
abnormalities similar to those caused by long-term abuse of other major drugs.

Many people believe cannabis use is not addictive. But use can lead to dependency, and heavy users
have shown withdrawal symptoms that include increased aggression, irritability, anxiety and insomnia.

Marijuana use can deform the structure of sperm cells and cause temporary sterility in men. It can upset
a woman’s menstrual cycle and is one of the few drugs that create abnormal cell division resulting in
severe hereditary defects. It also drastically affects the immune system, reducing res. to common illnesses.

Marijuana use also loosens inhibitions—since the user loses control of his mind—which, among other
things, leads to more risky sexual behavior. This indirect consequence causes myriad problems for
individuals and society. Research shows that the younger a person is when he begins using cannabis,
the more likely he or she will suffer these long-term consequences.

But It’s Beneficial ?

Many states allow people with certain medical conditions to use marijuana for relief. Yet, as a smoked
product, cannabis has never been proven to be medically beneficial; it is more likely to harm the
patient’s health. The majority of marijuana medicinal studies have been relatively short-term and
limited in scope.

They have looked for the treatment (suppression) of existing conditions,
but have never proven that cannabis has any healing properties.

Bibles Scripture reveals that our bodies and minds are not our own to abuse as we please.
God commands that we “glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”
(1Corinthians 6:20). Intoxicating ourselves on the “pleasures of sin” (Hebrews 11:25)
and the “lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16; 1?John 2:16)

Corinthians 6:10 states outright that drunkards—meaning the intoxicated—will never enter
God’s Kingdom unless they repent—and that includes intoxicating drug hallucinations.

Philippians 4:13 says all things are possible with Christ strengthening us. He will give you the real
and lasting solution to your problems. And He will also reward you for overcoming sinful pulls and
developing your God-given abilities (Luke 19:12-27; Revelation 2:26).

No one is perfect; we all yearn to escape our problems, we all commit sin (Romans 3:23). But God
gives us all the same amazing promise in Hebrews 4:16, encouraging us to “come boldly unto the
throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

Conquer this vice! Flee the temptation.

A Harmless Herb?

An increasing risk to cannabis users, and the rest of society, is that of driving under the influence.
Blood analysis shows 15 percent of trauma patients who were injured while driving a car or
motorcycle had smoked marijuana. Another 17 percent had both alcohol and thc in their blood.

-

One compound, tetrahydrocannabinol (thc), produces psychoactive effects in the brain, which are usually called highs. This distortion of mental perception usually takes effect within minutes; sensations include increased heart rate, a slight rise in blood pressure, conjunctival vascular congestion, lessened coordination and balance, and a dreamy, unreal state of mind. These sensations peak within the first half hour, and usually wear off after a couple of hours, depending on the potency of thc and the amount ingested.

For years, the Western Hemisphere has been plagued by violent Latin American cartels that
move dangerous drugs northward into the United States in return for cash profits and military
-style weapons. One primary reason these cartels have been successful is that Americans have
spent about a trillion dollars on illegal drugs in the past decade.

The cartels infiltrating America are financed by U.S. drug users and supported by U.S. gangs
of fatherless youth. This is a perfect example of how sin has direct, real-world consequences.

In many U.S. cities, drug cartels have teamed up with local gangs and criminal organizations.
Yet the leaders of these cities are defying the federal government and throwing open their doors
to more unvetted immigrants, many of whom are dangerous criminals. They are also pursuing
economic welfare and drug legalization policies that will lead to more broken families.

So while America’s new “law and order” president may try to crack down on crime, a deadly
war will break out if he tries to curb the supply of drugs without curbing the demand.

Consider the deadly situation brewing in hundreds of American cities. Youth unemployment is
growing, racial tensions are rising, and violent criminal organizations are gaining strength.

Family breakdown and drug addiction rates are at an all-time high. Mayors and other local
government officials are thwarting federal attempts to deport illegal aliens with criminal records.

Imagine the anarchy that would follow if the U.S. government decided to crack down on crime in
this environment without addressing the underlying moral breakdown that has caused this tragic
situation. Then again, imagine the inevitable violence and anarchy that will come if the government
continues to turn a blind eye and allow gangs and cartels freedom to operate.

No matter what, war is coming to America’s cities if there isn’t repentance on a nationwide scale.
