I tuned in about three hours ago and have been praying for those families since then. 18 precious little children have been killed. Just imaging what the families are going through and especially at this Christmas season. Please pray for all those who lost someone dear today in this tragedy.

Well, CONGRATS America! You worked hard to get God removed from the country. You got prayer
and the Bible removed from schools. You've buried the 10 Commandments and now the devil has
moved in. Surely, a few dead here and there is a small price to pay to live how you want, watch
what you want, do what you want and marry who you want! Or is it leaving a bad taste in your

,,,,these were babies,they did not work to remove god from our country. they did not work to remove god from their school,or the 10 commandments.they did not live how they wanted,but how their parents taught them. they did not watch what they wanted but the things their parents permitted. this morning they became victims of an adult who decided to commit this act. and by this afternoon they who "are still innocent",,,are now victim "twice" first to a madman with a gun and then to man's private agendas.but i say they are still "innocent babies" who have not done any of the things men might say.,,,we out of respect as we were ask,not make this a political,conspiracy agenda,,just tears for babies.

Laws don't change the heart A few people with box cutters took down the World Trade Center.
The school HAD a great security system. The man got buzzed in. Evil will find a way to get it done.

I didn't state theory, but the truth. I have said it many times in these forums and you can go look it
up. The USA is the most wicked country in the world. Today's action IS the harvest of many years
of sowing a godless society. IT WILL GET WORSE if the country doesn't repent. This country
IS reaping what it has sown. Its all spiritual. The USA has problems, SERIOUS problems that
human institutions can NOT solve. Its a spiritual problem. If the USA wants to continue, on its
current path, then actions like the school shooting will have to be accepted as common occurances.
Human beings can not stop spiritual forces. And there doesn't seem to be that many real
Christians in the country to mount a spiritual counter offensive. Because if there were, the country
wouldn't be this bad off to start with. I mean, look, you don't want to even acknowledge it.
The country is getting force fed its own wickedness. Everyone runs in circles trying to figure out
and solve the problems, by adding another coat of paint. The house is caving in. Paint wont do
anything but make a nice looking trash heap.

Now, I feel sorry for these people, but I get to the real root of the problem. I don't sit around
and ask, "why did these people in the movie theater get shot, why did these people in a mall
get shot, and why did these kids get shot." I don't ask,, because I KNOW WHY! Evil has moved in.
Its getting worse and will get more worse. America has two choices, while it still stands as a
country:
1. Repent if you don't like what you are seeing
2. Or learn to live with it, because you can not fix it yourself

But keep in mind, God will not allow this to continue forever. Sooner or later, He will shut this
country down. The spiritual condition of this country is creating and driving the problems.
Human institutions are no match for the spiritual. If you take away one path to do evil, it will
pave two more paths. The country needs to repent, because the USA is short on Christians

Just found out not too long ago. I will be praying for the families and the Lord's intercession for the children. This is a time of shock, a time of seeking answers. Soon will come the time of mourning, and I do pray the holy spirit gives revelation and comforts those involved.

Since everyone but the perp is unarmed, the perp can post very high body counts. If this happened in a society where all law abiding citizens without a criminal record could be licensed to carry concealed, you would see the body count drop to about two: the perp and their first victim. That would be about it.

And, make no mistake, there will always be a perp. They can make fully automatic firearms from hardware store items. Kids can make zip guns from old door knobs.

The only people our society is taking guns away from anymore are law abiding citizens. These are the people the perps target: unarmed law abiding citizens... frantically waiving their cell phones around as they get tossed onto a needless pile of bodies.

I went to gun shows for years... thousands of people walking around with firearms and ammo. They even sold beer at these events. They never had a single problem in the decades they held them. You know why? A gun show is the LAST place a perp wants to start trouble.

This is a most terrible tragedy! We must pray for all of the innocent children whose young lives were taken prematurely today. May God be with their families and relatives.

Evil exists everywhere, and its true that things are likely to get worse. What could be worse than killing 18 babies and another 9 adults? I don't really want to know. It's important that we pray for all those involved. The shooters mother did not give birth to him and think "I want to raise a mass murderer of children." Regardless of the parenting style of this mans parents, he was a grown man who made his own choice. Of course it breaks my heart to hear about the children and staff, but it concerns me also that many people will ignore the shooters family who have need to grieve for many things also. Please pray for his parents, and brother who is also in custody and suspected to be connected. Also, pray for school children and those entrusted with their care everywhere. I remember Columbine and the World Trade Center all too well. I did not work in the towers or go to Columbine, but the event was also traumatic for myself and all the other children around me. The trauma will be widespread.
Lastly, I encourage everyone to really seek The Lord as to how He would have each of you speak to people. These events open people up and The Lord will use this even
to open the door to people's hearts and lives. Its important that we don't just give a pat Christianese answer. People will be mad. They will be confused and devastated. They will ask questions or they may not know what to say. But The Lord wants to use Christians to wisely speak into their lives. The first point in "Encountering God" is to know God is always at work so join Him in what HE is doing. Events like these will stir people and we can either give them our answer which is likely either confusing or arrogant, or we can truly seek God about what direction He'd like to go with each person we encounter.

Hi friends, it's Amanda. It's so very tough as a journalist, to report on stories like the tragedy today...it's even tougher being a Mom and trying to explain it to my 4 year old. I want to share what happened in my house today:
After explaining the tragedy in CT to my daughter, she told me she needed to pray. This was her prayer: "Dear God, please give hugs to all the little boys and girls who came to live with you today. Make sure their mommies and daddies know they are with you."
I cried until I couldn't cry anymore.
