GPT-5 is the JOB KILLER! Millions Set to Lose Everything!

80% of all jobs will be reduced by 80%. By that I think they mean that if it takes you 100 hours to do your job it will now take you 20 hours to do the same job. I suspect that as a result one person will be able to do the work of five people, I also suspect that a lot of jobs that are "high paid" will become minimum wage jobs. Finally, I think that one year of AI doing 80% of your job will result in it improving to where it can do 90% of your job and will be able to impact 90% of jobs. So this year it impacts 64% of employees, a year from now it will impact 81% of jobs.

Nvidia's New Computer Has Released A Terrifying WARNING To ALL Other Computers!

They have increased computing power by 2.5x. There is a direct correlation between AI's performance and its computing power. As a result of all their advancements they are in a position to have a single exaflop machine on a rack. That is almost 5,000x the power of what they had six years ago. Not only so but they can cut the training time for an AI by 2/3 and cut the power consumption as well.

Almost Heaven West Virginia
it would be an eye opener to see how many media agencies are doing this, probably more than one would think...
Even the people in most mainstream newspapers, TV , radio and various outlets simply regurgitate what the AP, Reuters, or gt give them as a press release.
I used to write press releases as a director of private, local, county and corporate entities.
The outlets liked that the hardest part of their jobs were essentially done for them.

think about this, in 3 years it takes 50% of the jobs. That means you won't be hiring people for those jobs. Now imagine you are a kid in K-12, even if you are a senior this fall, you have five years before you graduate college and enter the workforce. Why would you pay $240k or more for four years of college?

Suppose you are a freshman in college this fall, what hope do you have of getting a job when you graduate?

But it is worse. Let's say you are a senior, do you have a chance at getting a job next June? I think you do, but not what you expect. At that point they will have the AI to replace you what they will need to do is train it. They will probably hire people to work on training the AI. This will be temporary work. And this will dry up quickly. Also, these trainee jobs are probably being filled right now. We see them training robots, etc. Soon, this summer, every Fortune 500 company will be paying for this AI and the managers will be doing an analysis to determine how many people they can eliminate as a result.

Now you can argue that you cannot replace an elementary school teacher with AI. But let's consider that. If AI takes 50% of jobs in three years aren't you going to have a whole bunch of parents at home? Also Khan academy already has Khanmigo which can tutor your kid in any subject and costs $35 a year. I think it will be very easy to homeschool, very cheap, and that will certainly be better if people are struggling to find income from jobs. Imagine half the kids stop going to public school in three years. What happens to the teachers? Also you will see computer labs with 50 kids replacing a classroom with two teachers and 25 students.

Now consider this, a fortune 500 company feels they need 5 years out of you to make it worth hiring you. They definitely don't want to hire someone that they will have to fire in two or three years. Now they might be hiring people on probation if the probation lasts for six months and then let you go around Christmas. Otherwise they'll probably hire contract labor. Generally the new hires each year represent 5-10% of their workforce. If they stop hiring new people over three years that would be 30%, if they offer incentives for early retirement that would probably give you another 20%. This announcement is a public notice to Fortune 500 companies to begin making changes.

SILVER INDUSTRIAL DEMAND ROSE 11 PERCENT TO POST A NEW RECORD IN 2023
  • Posted on 04 17, 2024
Silver Demand for Photovoltaics Increased 64 Percent, Surpassing Estimates

(New York City – April 17, 2024) On the heels of 2022’s record use of silver in industrial applications, a new record high was set in 2023 at 654.4 million ounces (Moz). Ongoing structural gains from green economy applications underpinned these advances as they did in 2022. Higher than expected photovoltaic (PV) capacity additions and faster adoption of new-generation solar cells raised global electrical & electronics demand by a substantial 20 percent. At the same time, other green-related applications, including power grid construction and automotive electrification, also contributed to the gains.

Overall, silver demand exceeded silver supply in 2023 for the third consecutive year, resulting in a structural market deficit of 184.3 Moz.

These and many other key aspects of the 2023 silver market are examined in World Silver Survey 2024, released today by the Silver Institute. The 88-page Survey also provides an outlook for this year’s silver market. The Survey was researched and produced for the Silver Institute by Metals Focus, the London-based independent precious metals consultancy.

Some of the key findings include:

Silver Demand

Total silver demand saw a decline of 7 percent to 1,195 Moz in 2023; however, this was coming off a record 2022. The price-sensitive physical investment, jewelry, and silverware sectors mainly contributed to last year’s drop. In sharp contrast, industrial demand hit another record high, led by the electrical and electronics sector, which grew 20 percent to 445.1 Moz last year. This gain reflects silver’s essential and growing use in PV, which recorded a new high of 193.5 Moz last year, increasing by a massive 64 percent over 2022’s figure of 118.1 Moz. Underpinning these overall gains was the limited scale of thrifting and substitution, as silver remains irreplaceable in many applications.

Chinese silver industrial demand rose by a remarkable 44 percent to 261.2 Moz, primarily due to growth for green applications, chiefly PV. Last year, China’s rapid expansion of PV production accounted for over 90 percent of global panel shipments. Industrial demand in the United States stood at 128.1 Moz, essentially flat over 2022, while Japan’s industrial offtake was also basically unchanged at 98.0 Moz.

Electronics is set to explode with AI looking to replace 100 million jobs. To do that they will need huge server farms and these use silver.

The demand in the sector grew by 20% in 2023 and the demand is growing exponentially. For the last three years demand has exceeded production and demand is set to really explode now with massive orders being placed for AI.

Imagine that the lawfare being used against Trump, Bannon and others is simply a "proof of concept".

If they can effectively prosecute and convict someone as high profile and wealthy as Trump imagine what they can do to 1,000 others who are not high profile and who do not have deep pockets?

By this summer when GPT5.0 comes out they will be able to do convincing deep fake video and audio. If you have a prosecutor in your pocket and the media in your pocket you can destroy your opponents. Perhaps through the appeals process in two years they could win, but the with the speed of AI an evil dictator can seize absolute power in two years.

Now imagine that you have the people in place to have riots and looting. They also have a list of people with strongly held political beliefs that have been posted on social media that they want to target. Stage a big event, have a bunch of deep fake video, audio and spoof some social media posts and problem solved, all the prisons can now be filled with your political opponents.

What strikes me is that "by 2025" we'll have AI that outstrips college graduates. This means that by June of 2025 you can assume fortune 500 companies will no longer be hiring college graduates. If they hire them this year it will be temporary to train the AI.

What is truly frightening here is that it is becoming clear that AI is now designing the hardware. So you make an improvement, the machine doubles it's power and then that in turn allows it to make another improvement. So we are getting positive feedback loop, every time we have an improvement in he hardware it results in improvements in both hardware and software which in turn results in improvements in both software and hardware.

Also please note that the latest quantum computer was able to solve a problem in a minute or two that would take our most powerful supercomputers 47 years to solve. That is clearly "super intelligence". Merge the quantum computer with AI and you will get ASI.

These changes also dramatically cut the time required to train an AI system.

But the scariest improvement is the savings in energy. Ultimately the only reason anyone will still have a job is because of a shortage of energy, the less energy it takes to run AI the more people it will replace.
