yes as it is written "all darkness and no light in it",,,a great falling away,and then the man of sin reveled,,,the word say's we will reduce in numbers,,and then.,,,,,tears do come to me when i say this,,but it is what is written.,,,,we will try and try,we will dwindle in numbers,,they will increase,become more corrupt.and the more corrupt they become the more cruel a ruler will be sent over them,he whom his name is not spoken. 50mil.????,,,,these numbers did not amass around Christ himself and his apostles,,,who is a man who is greater than these?,or he?,,,,,,
Me too. This fact has lead me to believe that we are not yet ready for positive change because we are unwilling to take responsibility for it. Thus the governments will continually take responsibility for things we don't and have authority as a result. Not because it's not ours, but because we refuse to believe it and wield it.
Are there 50 million Christians in America? If so, Christ did not call just those who can walk. In fact, many of the Christians in America need canes, wheelchairs, and/or a swift kick in the behind. Additionally, let us not forget the bedridden, pewridden, and couchridden "Christians."
Before I am accused as a hypocrite or some rude person, know that I stand before God and fall on my face. I am not the standard to follow; but, sadly, there are many Christians who do not follow Him who is the Standard. My point is, there can be an uprising only if the Christians will rise up. In any case, it will take a concurrent series of miracles.

let me explain why i responded this way Amos 5;18,,,"the day of the lord is darkness and not light",,,so we know from other scriptures that the lord is "the light",,,,you know this from the many scriptures that he is the light and we preach that "light".
compare to Zechariah 14;6-7,,,the words in jkv in "italics" do not appear in the original manuscripts,,,,(that,nor and that) from verse 6 and 7...
so in that day it will be all darkness(filled with sin,sinners all turning to sin the whole earth),,,,and no light in it(godly,christian presence,love ect.),,,,so they are giving us a "condition of those who live in the earth in that day"
"a great falling away,then the man of sin revealed",,,,2nd Thessalonians 2;1-8 i ended with the quote because this is the first time Paul uses the word "brightness" in the chapter,,,go back to verse 3 and as i said before the words "that day shall not come",,,are in italics so did not appear.,,,if this is removed it coincides with what Zechariah states in 14;7 "at evening time it shall be light" again the word "that" is in italics.
Paul is addressing the fact that that the Thessalonians believing that the "light/Christ" had just been born into the world and risen so they believed these prophecies to have been fulfilled(Amos and Zechariah) and so then they believed that the "day of the lord/destruction" was next/immediate.
so Paul is explaining to them that from that point into the future that there would be "a great falling away",,then after this/because of this,(darkness and not light) in the earth the man of sin reveled(the earth is turned over to the devil as their ruler)and then in the evening of that day/1000 years the lord(light),,would return and destroy them with the brightness of his coming.
i hope more than 50mil. Christians are in the earth,but from these prophecies it would seem that in all realty the world will go the other direction and become more corrupt until there is no light left in it.,,,,then a great trouble we(the remaining Christians) will be tried before the kings and the synagogs and many put to death,,,and then many will be transformed.
notice there are no Christians(light) present in the earth in that day?,,,,,,,"all darkness and no light in it",,,"and then in at evening time it shall be light",,,,
if there be 10 i will spare Sodom and Gomorrah,,if 9 or 8,,,if one i will spare.,,,if there are 50,000,000,,,,,,i really wish i was young enough and healthy enough to go and there be 50,000,001,,,,I'm afraid to see if there are less,and i am again willing to see the 4th watch of this 1000 years wile it is still called today.
