Ok in a sense and I hope I can convey this properly.

In a sense abortion is a blessing but only to the aborted child.

That child is now in heaven. That child has been set free from this sin sick world where people endorse abortion, and those who choose to abort for purely selfish reasons.

The child has lost nothing but gained everything. They are with Jesus and will live forever with him.

In ancient times there was not abortion but child sacrifice, it's no different today.

Children sacrificed in the OT are in heaven with children that have been aborted.

Those who endorse and those who carry it through will answer to God.
They need to repent.

I understand what you are trying to say.I think we could say its a blessing that in spite of the child being aborted they go to heaven rather than saying abortion is a blessing.I see what you are getting at though.

Yes I see what your saying as well.
My perspective is from the Christian viewpoint for the child.

Outside of that it's not a blessing for those who endorse it and carry it out.

49 years and 4 months ago my mother was in the abortion clinic. Taken there by her Muslim father.
Got pregnant by an infidel outside of marriage.

As her legs were in the stirrups she said " No I can't do it"
Her dad said to the doctor "Go ahead do it" he said "No I won't I will not go against her will"
She was then kicked out of the family, black sheep.

Who was that child?

Me.

The fall out of this was carried over between my mum and me. But our relationship has been restored and she is now a Christian.

I was meant to be aborted, God meant something else to happen.

That brother is a moving and amazing testimony. Just beautiful. I saw a Christian video where a woman was raped and decided to have the child. She brought this beautiful young woman to the stage. Isn't it amazing how God can move. Thank you for sharing your testimony.

Powerful and beautiful testimony Bill! Praise The Lord. How wonderful that your very brave-sounding mum escaped Islam and found her salvation too! The Lord Bless you both.

When there is a miscarriage the foetus is declared to have died. If you intentionally cause it to die, it's just abortion because to the deceived it wasn't alive in the first place.

What a dispicable double standard and sorry excuse.

It is so amazing how God can move.
I'm think we we need to pray against those who endorse abortion and pay for those who have abortions.

Those who endorse no guilt, pray they repent.
Those who have abortions will carry the guilt.

Pray they Jesus will work on both sides.

Amen.

God has fulfilled his promise.
To bless 1000's of generations for those who believe in him.

I'm the first. Married to the most amazing Christian lady. Who has been a Christian for a long long time.

Now our 4 kids are Christians, my mum is and so is my Aunt.

Jesus is gonna bless our generations.

Islam had been broken from ourside.

Sad to say though that it still has its claws on my brothers.

Keep praying! God has made a mighty move in your family, no need to think he has to stop yet.
I will pray for your brothers a bit too if that is OK. One thing I'm hoping for & have prayed for is that the UK will yet see a massive harvest of Muslims into The Body of Christ.

Tragedy

All abortion is failure, failure of the mum and dad to know what relationships are,
failure of the society not being able to support life and bring children up to know
the consequences of their actions,
failure of groups to know the life long damage to teenagers disposing of something
that tares their hearts apart
failure of doctors to see their devaluing of life destroys their motivation to care
failure of society to recognise the deprovation of young people who find more love in sex
than in their families or surroundings

Rape, child abuse, violence, sexual exploitation, reducing sex to an act rather than
an offering of love given by one vulnerable person to another, made sacred by marriage
and a protected by society is bad for any community to follow.

It is like contraception has allowed a generation to feel sexual experimentation gives meaning
rather than it destroys the preciousness of the heart, and does cynical harm to vulnerable
people, which many never recover from their whole lives. Just look at the number of lonely
people in cities we have created because of broken relationships without consequences.

So the question youngsters ask is not who is your life long partner, but have you had sex yet, how many
partners, are you hetro, bi, neutral, trans, gay etc. And the public need to know what you
are because it really matters...... you have a right to be who you are, even if all this language
just demonstrates confusion, unhappiness, being lost, and wanting certainties in an uncertain
world.

If you have ever been to the temples in India where sex was explored, and see how reserved
Indian society is today, you will understand no rules, open doors destroys people.
The push against restrictions or simple self preservation is giving over to following your passions
no matter how inappropriate is self destructive. God help them.

When the hearts of men grow cold, love dies, and lusts are all that is left.

Can't rep you again but you are repped.

Yes please pray for my brothers.
Every time I offer to pray they tell me where I can stick them.
But so did my mum:)

One thing missing though....those children never had a chance to fulfill their destiny.

A very good point.
I never quite thought of it in that way...

If I ever meet a guy who tells me he and his girlfriend decided to abort their baby (I'm sure that moment will come), I should just ask him something like "Why didn't you let her have the baby and then just strangle it?"

Not sure what the reaction would be, but is it really any different?...:( Maybe it would get the guy thinking at least.

Yes,according to a new campaign by an organization called "My abortion,my life" abortion is a blessing. They have put billboards all over Cleveland,in the poor sections of the city mind you.According to the Billboards abortion is not only a blessing but;

a family value

a parenting decision

a second chance

gender equality (my personal favorite of excuses)

good medicine

healthcare

hope

liberty

necessary

normal

right for me

your right

sacred (marriage no,abortion yes)

lifesaving (not for the baby mind you)

safer than childbirth

So apparently they didn't check with the baby on this one. If the child could talk Im thinking they'd disagree.I've never met a person yet who wished their mother believed in abortion, funny how that goes...

Jesus said these days would come. When lovers of themselves and the profane would call good evil and evil good.

I was actually just thinking about the whole topic of abortion today during work, after talking about politics with a co-worker. We never got to the subject of abortion (thankfully?) but it suddenly struck me - there are murderers all around us. Either those who had their own baby killed or those who encouraged or pressured them into it. It's very sad and a little scary, to be honest.

Yet, I have to remember that even murder, as horrible as it is, is still forgivable and Jesus' death was enough to cover the needless deaths human beings have caused, if people repent and give their lives to Him. However, certain sins have much greater consequences even if they are still just sins.

Oh, and my brother was born in the year there were the highest number of abortions in the US (so far). He's a brilliant mechanical engineer and inventor. Even if I don't always share his interests, like his latest CAD designing and how to source parts for his prototypes, I think I don't appreciate him like I really should...

Upon the day of judgement to stand before God, all by yourself and explain to Him why, without provocation or thought of preservation you willingly took a life. And that is AFTER living a life of guilt, doubt, sorrow and remorse. I think I would rather follow God's pathway, no matter how straight or narrow it might be.

This is what effects me the most too. Thinking if my brother was aborted, visualizing him discarded like nothing. First breath or not the vessel is on track for a miracle, and the little underdeveloped vessel is him to me.

He certainly isn't a variable:

Scenario 1:
Woman gives birth to child X1
Woman gives birth to child Y1

Scenario 2:
Woman aborts child X1
Woman gives birth to child Y2

Would child Y2 have ever existed if the woman did not abort X1?
