Hillary should bottle that bleach and sell it. She'd make a killing.

Reminds me of that old Paul Shanklin commercial with Robert Byrd selling "Mighty White," a special bleach that will whiten your robes and remove stains of racism from your past. The implication being that when you become a Democrat, all sins are forgiven.

Well I have to say Dems stand behind their candidate, I'll give em that. Paul Ryan has bailed on Trump. Took a look at his FB account and if its any indication, the Repub. establishment is in big,big trouble. They better look before they leap.

I mean it's true of Hillary. Trump never, in his entire career, supported an openly racist political figure. Even in his most liberal phases, concurrent with the Dixiecrat heyday.

Clinton supported and praised Senator/Grand Dragon Byrd and essentially married/stood behind a Dixiecrat. She has never denounced or recanted her support for Democrats with the most racist past an American could possibly have.

But she's a Democrat, so she gets her bottle of "Mighty White"

I'm not going to defend the guy's words or behavior. I've denounced them since day one.

But good gravy the difference between him and Hillary is the difference between a pickpocket and an armed robber with a history of killing people who don't pay up.

It was an observation pointing out that if you only listen to someone occasionally, there is a chance whatever was said (if it is true) could be missed. I don't know if it's true. There's too many things in the media being reported, it's hard to tell what's true and what's not true. If I follow something just occasionally, though, then it'd also be difficult for me to defend that something, when there's a lot of stuff I'm not hearing or following.

Well based on my experience with rush it would be out of character for him to say something like that unless he was mocking the people who actually do hold the view that he was accused of in this thread....and so far the person who said it, has failed to produce the evidence that he did.

If you are talking about the "Rush quote" (that I'm STILL waiting to have shown to me) I googled Rush Limbaugh quotes about 50 Shades of Gray, and found NOTHING with him praising it, or condemning it. He did a segment about it, in relation to a discussion about the overall decay in the liberal side of things, with Bill Cosby, and others.

There is NO quote by him about the book itself, and how it relates to women being in subjection to their husbands that I could find.

Perhaps we all should refrain from quoting media people until we see the actual quote ourselves.

Not that main stream media folks would fabricate anything, though....:rolleyes: (Dan Rather comes to mind)

That I agree with. That's why I think it's important to provide links if folks are going to be making those kinds of statements. Then again, it still might not be true. Or it might be slightly true but stretched enough to where the media took it in a completely different direction.

I find it very curious that she attacked one of the most consistently conservative voices in America with a very questionable accusation without any proof at all.

This general doesn't require any proofs. Any accusation will do. That goes for both sides. This whole election is way beyond reasonable doubt.

The 50 Shades of Grey Phenomenon - The Rush Limbaugh Show

limbaugh starts by telling someone they need to get '50 shakes of grey'...

later he tells a story about him telling someone else they need to get the book...

he calls the book 'anti feminist' and says 'there is not a feminist in this world who will love this book' and it 'defies everything feminism supposedly teaches'... knowing how limbaugh feels about feminism this is definitely praise for the book...

and he says that the book is 'all about how women want to be submissive'...and 'it says that being submissive is the ultimate empowerment'

finally he says that reading the book would send hillary clinton 'into orbit'...knowing how limbaugh feels about hillary clinton this is also definitely praise for the book...

Unfortunately, I personally know and worked with a lot of women that loved that book and went to see the movies. I never understood the appeal, but I'm not surprised that it sold 80 million copies. It is not much different from the Magic Mike phenomenon. What surprised me was that most of the women that were obsessed with this series of books were your typical soccer mom type.

Now that you mention 'magic mike' I bet if they made a movie with Hollywood A list actresses, for men about strippers, the outrage would have no end. When women ogle men, they are empowered righteous feminist. If men do it, they are pigs.
